My daughter, who is now 2 and a half years old, had cradle cap until she was nearly 2 years old, when we soaked her head in coconut oil and combed the entire thing off in one session. I simply continued using Mustela shampoo in the hopes that it would disappear.My second daughter, who is three months old, arrived a few months later, and her cradle cap resembles my first daughter's did at the same age. I was aware that I couldn't use the same fine-toothed comb—which I purchased for myself at a beauty supply store and isn't particularly soft—on her delicate scalp. I found this brush while searching for cures on Google. I reasoned that it was worthwhile to try for the price. I had to test it out right away because it just arrived today. I was astounded by how much hair fell off when I simply combed the comb over her dry hair. I used the nubby blue bristles as directed by the guidelines, soaking her hair in about 1 teaspoon of baby oil gel (all I had) for about 15 minutes. It couldn't have damaged her because she adored it and immediately began drooling. Once I had carefully combed her hair backwards, to the sides, and forwards a few times, the comb would be covered in scales, and I would need to brush it off. I simply kept doing that till her scalp was clean. I would use the blue side of the brush to do a few extra circular strokes on tough places. When she started to fuss, I thought I would stop, but she didn't seem to mind at all. She had 99% of her cradle cap gone in less than 20 minutes. I am in awe, truly! I regret not learning about this product when my oldest child was a newborn.This was the ideal size and softness for my youngest, who has an average amount of hair for a 3-month-old. Due of the amount of hair my toddler has, I doubt this would have been effective on her.

Is it really that valuable?Yesterday, when I was searching desperately throughout the house, on the couch, in the chairs, in the cars, on the porch, and everywhere else, thinking I had lost it, the solution suddenly came to me. I finally gave in and took one of the kids' combs. YUCK!After an hour-long trip filled with unpleasant flashbacks, I arrived at work. Those memories.
