Here's a fast edit from 5/1/18. ordered more of these frogs. Without them, I don't want to be. Additionally, I have a bad habit of using my 20 lb braided line to fish heavy mat with my FROGs when I should be using my 40 or 50 lb braided line because I like the extra distance I get. As a result, I occasionally get hung up in the pads with a fish on and break my line. This is my fault, so I guess I will just have to get used to the heavy braid. Nothing has changed since my initial evaluation below in terms of my frogs. Get these if you frog fish. They'll win your heart.Have you ever misplaced a $10,000 lure? Have you ever bought the newest and best lure only to find it ineffective? I do, a lot! I go fishing a few times a week. I went outside on Sunday and decided to discard these frogs. They perform! I brought in a 6 lb huge mouth. I've been throwing a Strike King Frog in the same lake for a month now with no luck. On Sunday, I also threw and hung a Booyah Pad Crasher, but it has since vanished. I adore these RUNCL Frogs since they are practical and inexpensive. Arrive in a classy plastic box with a stop top. These swimbaits are something new I recently added to my tackle box. I was hoping for a little something different that would make my luck better. Simply said, they are the deadliest surf perch bait you can use.Since I've been using this pattern for years, the fish aren't biting if you don't get any hits on it.I typically use an 18-inch sliding rig "a swivel, a barrel weight, and a leader. If you can locate the trough, the perch will really hit this item. With them, I've also caught stripers in the surf. They are hard to resist. Although I've utilized the blood red pattern, for some reason they act erratically when they see the camo pattern. You'll have an unpleasant cleanup task on your hands if the envelope leaks into your vest or pocket. However, when it comes to bait, the smellier the better, and this stuff definitely rocks. I also use this 2-inch design since the 4" patterns, which are longer, frequently only get bites on the ends from fish "they go for it hard, so it hooks more of them. The best plastic bait I've ever used, in my opinion.

The best soft plastic on the market, in my opinion, is this bait and its colour (pinfish). I've used it on all different types of jig heads and swim bait hooks, and it swims great at ALL speeds. I've been caught by it numerous times without ever having a tear. In actuality, I merely remove it off the hook and repackage it. The material outperforms DOA, Gambler, and all other soft plastics and is extremely durable.

Just got back from a saltwater fishing excursion in Florida. I spent the most of the trip with this bait, a 3 inch Pearl White swimming mullet on a 1/8 oz jighead, and I caught over 50 fish in three hours of fishing. Fish adore them. Simply cast one out and let it sink; the fish will do the most of the work while you only need to set the hook and reel them in. When reeling it back in if the motion slows down, just jig it up and down. On a different occasion, I made a film demonstrating the difficulty of catching a fish in the Gulf just for fun. I had to wait 14 seconds after casting before the fish entered the boat. I repeated the test five times in a row, each time landing a little fish. I frequently used the same setup to catch sea trout that were 18 inches long. After around 20 fish, the fish will start to nibble the tail out of one, thus I will need to get another pack or two shortly. It's only a little issue when fishing.

Gulp Alive undoubtedly attracts fish. The best method to purchase Gulp is in a 1/2 or full pint, as this is the most economical option. The liquid in the jar, in my opinion, smells like pickle juice, but the fish continue to bite and hold on. They work in both freshwater and saltwater. The finest colors for smallmouth fish to leap on are white and chartreuse grubs. Use them with a 1/8-ounce jig head on a jig spinner. These grubs are eaten by fluke and black sea bass in the salt. I prefer to use a drop shot rig with a Neko 1/0 hook and a heavier weight (up to 1 ounce depending on current). The one rule with Gulp is that you should NEVER leave it on a hook while not using it since the bait will dry out. Over the Fourth of July weekend, I put these lures to the test. After severing the leader, I put up two spinning rigs, one of which had a popping cork. I spent a night only fishing in the backyard of my father-in-home law's in Corpus Christi. On these lures, I caught 7 speckled trout (3 keepers), 1 red fish, and countless hardheads. I advise bringing a small black light (flashlight) to periodically "charge" the lure. After 15 to 20 seconds of dark light, they flash crazily, thus I had to "recharge" every few casts.These are a huge improvement over "Berkeley Gulp" lures in terms of durability; in my opinion. Both lures had been used to catch fish in the channel that night and were completely undamaged. Every one or two bites when I fish with Gulps, I lose a lure.I've included a few pictures of the "glow." Take one picture without the lights on (still daytime though with lights on in the hallway). Another one with lights on will follow since it is impressive to see any glimmer in full lighting. Even after being charged, the eyeballs light orange.5 stars.

The fact that this product resembles a minnow is something I enjoy about it. The tail is the best part of the lure; it wiggles even when it's not submerged, so it will wiggle even more when it is. The bottom half of the lure is the one portion I kind of despise. It's a little bit too transparent and could use a bit more color coverage, but I can see why it's see-through because of the foil flash, which is useful on the days when you need that flash. Overall, I would say that this lure is really nicely crafted. I haven't used it yet because I'm still waiting for the water to clear up and rise so that the crappies can begin biting.
