To connect some rubber floor mats I bought for my home garage gym, I bought this. The mats weigh a good amount and are 4x8 and 3/8 inch thick. Once the seams were flipped over, I used the tape on the bottom to hold them together. Since I was working alone and putting three mats together, I was a little concerned that the tape might fall off while I was flipping the mat, but it held firmly. I did add three strips to each seam and a few strips that were perpendicular to them on either end. It is holding remarkably well now that it has been turned over and the tape is in contact with the cement floor with the weight on top. The seams are still tight despite the humid days Michigan has seen recently and some moisture getting underneath the mats. Since the weight keeps pressing against the seams, I don't see see them ever coming loose.Duct tape has a wide range of applications, as is well known, and in my opinion, this product is stronger and more durable than brands like 3M and Duck Tape. Being thicker and stickier than other kinds, they are undoubtedly more durable yet are nonetheless simple to shred into the required lengths.My new favorite brand of duct tape.

This is what I used to stitch together all of the plastic sheeting that covered the walls and floor. The only tape I have ever used that I would trust for this application is this one. For her birthday, my daughter requested a pool filled with "water beads" inside the house. The plastic sheeting was sealed with tape to prevent leaks, so I don't have to worry about the hardwood floors below. So I guess you could say that I have a lot of faith in this tape. However, I wouldn't apply this to walls within the house. It completely removed the finish, right down to the walls.

HonestReview- This tape has the strength of a gorilla's grip, so perhaps that is why it is called gorilla tape. ORRRRR is this the tape used by gorillas to repair their gorilla homes? In any case, I put it to the test on my arm just to be sure. Ladies, skip waxing; use this tape instead and your hair will be completely torn out! For my performances, I cover wires with this tape to prevent people from tripping over them. The white Gorilla tape was also used to patch a tear in my truck's front bumper. It had a rip that was about 5" long or so, not a crack. Please see the image. Don't worry about the zombie sticker. To make the tape less obvious, I placed it over it. The Gorilla tape has been there for more than a year and is still holding up well. Normally, I wouldn't give a product five stars, but this one goes above and above. It has freaking gorilla-like strength!

And it goes on and on forever...A tuxedo cat is mine. Sidney is his name. On skates, he is a holy horror. One of his favorite pastimes is to execute his best Tasmanian Devil impression while opening the sliding doors to my bedroom closet and venting his numerous grievances on my clothing. I've tried a variety of methods to stop him from opening my closet doors, including shoving cardboard between the doors, in the tracks, and pushing up heavy sketchbooks against the wall. Even the edge of the closet door and the wall have *industrial strength* velcro on them! At that point, Sidney was still able to open his closet, but I was unable to.I had previously contemplated using duct tape, but I reasoned that it wouldn't work. Duct tape won't hold Sid in place if he can get past the velcro.I tried it at last out of pure desperation. And.... It succeeded! The ideal solution appears to be three eye-level strips that are both sturdy enough to keep the door closed and elevated enough so that he cannot gnaw through them. Duct tape, oh! Why did I ever question you? ;)

I've used Gorilla Tape for a long time. Before it was commercially available, duct tape was pretty much the only alternative choice, but those times are long gone. Without a doubt, Gorilla Tape and other items from the Gorilla brand perform at the highest level possible.In my previous home, I needed something to fix a vintage pull-down shade. I required something that was quite durable, absolutely would not roll off at the edges, and was almost the same color as the blinds. I recall jokingly wishing that Gorilla had a product that might work, but it would have been too good to be true. Later, after numerous attempts to repair the broken shade ended in utter failure, I searched on Amazon for a light-colored roll of Gorilla Tape (Without much optimism, I must confess.)The fact that it was offered in white, the color I need, and, most of all, that it was a Gorilla brand product, astounded me. Around the ripped area, I washed the surface of the shade with Windex, let it to completely dry, and then I placed the Gorilla tape. The procedure was simple, and the outcome was flawless. The tape is holding to the shade like, well, a gorilla and the edges aren't rolling up from the blind's surface.It took me a year to resolve the torn shade, but I could not be happier with the outcome. This repair job should last longer than me and still look decent if the white Gorilla Tape is even remotely similar to the other Gorilla products I possess and have used.I suggest using goods from the Gorillat brand because they strengthen and enhance anything from phone and tablet screens to my torn shade's broken shade to laptop, tablet, and tablet screens. This is a product that actually accomplishes what it promises to.

The EZ start tape is the finest, in my opinion, for a number of reasons.It is the QUIETEST TAPE available, according to 1. Having a quiet tape is crucial because I have 2 young children and my home office is just next to their bedroom. When you take the tape off the spool, nearly every other tape you'll encounter emits a loud shriek. It's extremely quiet here.2.) "EZ start" really works. The thing that annoys me the most is when the tape drops and I have to use my fingernail to lift it back up, ripping a piece of it in the process and wasting a lot of tape. Even when lying flat on the tape roll, it takes very little effort to pull the tape's end up and start using it.With these rolls, I would advise utilizing a tape dispenser. It becomes quite simple to use. One tape dispenser will last a LONG time, which is also a useful advice. I've shipped over 2,000 boxes with the identical dispenser over the course of over six months.In conclusion, even though this tape costs more than a generic or even premium tape, the increased cost is more than justified given the luxury of a high-quality tape. Just to be clear, this tape is NOT the "stickiest" one available. Depending on what you are taping, go elsewhere if you need something extremely adhesive. Gorilla tape is fantastic. It's really powerful. I have rolls of it around the house for any other uses that call for something as robust as this tape ever since I used it to seal some windows that were bad and leaky. Before I could replace the windows and it could keep the water out, I used this on windows where the glazing was bad and water was getting into the house. It protected them for 8 months. Since I was replacing the windows, I wasn't worried about the sticky gum causing damage to them. The tape did leave residue after baking in the Florida heat for so long because they were made of brown aluminum. Although I am aware that this application is unusual, I felt compelled to highlight it because of how well it held up. Prior to a hurricane, I also used it to tape up plastic sheeting, and it stayed in place during the storm. I've now discovered that it doesn't work so well on cardboard moving boxes. Yes, this tape is awesome.

As a result, even though the tape is thin, its adherence is more powerful than its structural integrity. It functions as a material to build sheaths for wooden swords, which is what I had meant for it to do. I had no trouble covering it because there was so much of it, but one sword required about 40 yards because it was so thin. in addition to a wire coat hanger for support. About 25 yards of stronger tape and four wire coat hangers were used to support my other, longer blade. However, if you're using it to fix something, I'd advise using much more of it to expand the area of adhesion and give the tape more tensile strength.To create pieces that are more durable, consider cutting the tape with scissors as opposed to tearing it.
