All I needed was a cheap measuring tape for some simple stitching. When I found this deal for two types at one price, I jumped at it. One of them is a standard measuring tape in a cheery pink color that is on a plastic spool with an auto-retract button. These are not products of the highest quality that will last a lifetime, but they are inexpensive and yet fit my purpose well. They also came a day early.

What the heck is half of 11 feet, 5 inches and 11/16ths?To make my life easier, I bought this tape measure.My favorite. have been using a ladder to work. Overall, this tape measure is excellent because it is reliable, simple to read, and small.The fact that it is marked in both Metric and Inches (1/16" resolution) is its best feature, though. Therefore, I'm discovering that it's the greatest method to begin learning the metric counterparts of the more often used inch measurements.On Amazon, I was looking for a tiny project container, and many of them provided metric sizes. However, I lacked a natural sense for 70 mm. Sounds enormous, yet I am aware of how tiny a millimeter is. How huge is a lot of a small item in reality... I don't know, but the one thing I do know is that there are 2.54 cm in an inch. Let me get a calculator. Okay, enter 70, divide by 10, then multiply the result by 2.54 to get 2.75 inches. I can compute it, but I don't yet feel it.But using this amazing tape measure, I just extend it to around 70 mm and realize right away that it is slightly less than 3 inches. It's an excellent illustration of both the numerical translation and an appealing picture that I can better understand. and will therefore remember. I was able to roughly estimate how much stuff would fit in the project box using the tape measure, which allowed me to swiftly select the right size from Amazon.I will buy another tape measure for my workshop because I adore this one.

This tap adjustment is just what I needed. I assumed I would have to spend an additional $25 for a new one because my last one, which was a different brand, just snapped. I found this Komelon, and it features both a retract button that won't hit you in the face and the self-stop feature. For one reason, I only awarded it four instead of five stars. a rigid plastic container. It takes forever to remove the layers upon layers of this substance. To remove it, I needed a tool knife and scissors. And it was really risky because I might have easily cut myself on the sharp edges of the plastic and tools. By the time I was done, I was beyond irate. Getting the belt clip loose was the most difficult part because it is wrapped above it, on the sides, and below it where it is screwed in. I find it incomprehensible that some moron created this design and that other moron approved it. They chose this method even though there must be dozens of simpler ones, such as using a cardboard box. If they don't change the package, I won't buy another when this one expires. Instead of going through the agony of opening this one, I'd rather spend the extra money.

Because the first one I got didn't lock well, I eventually got a second one (without having to send the original one back!). I opened the back (with three screws) and looked more closely after beginning to wonder whether there might be a design flaw. With one side that had a tab as seen on the left, the rubber wedge that is supposed to secure the tape in place slipped just a little bit. Since I removed the small tab seen on the right, it has been locking without any problems. Once it locks, it actually functions much better with no play.This would be my second purchase because I've had this tape measure for years that slipped occasionally before ultimately breaking. I'm making the identical adjustment to my 25-foot version.Cut the tab off of the rubber wedge if it is slipping. Even a 10-year-old can change this tape measure because of how easily the internal mechanism works. Now that I have two functional 16-foot tape measures, I can't say I'm unhappy.

This measuring tape is ideal for my pocket or handbag because I can't always take my bulky one with me. It became my favourite measuring tape after I used it to quickly measure off an entire apartment last week and start an urgent job. Much more durable than the majority of little units, and the connecting chain and carabiner clasp are also very strong. I've been carrying it around with me for several months. It bangs around on my keychain, gets dropped on concrete, gets buried in my purse, and gets regularly used and abused. It never shows any signs of wear. Fantastic product!

I purchased this on July 6, 2018, which is four months ago, to replace the prior Stanley Tape Measure that I used for a very long time. I'm happy with this tape measure so far. Unlike some other reviewers, I have not experienced any problems with the tip breaking. Additionally, I prefer this version's broad tape width over my prior one. I like that the tape won't bend if I stretch it out more. This is helpful when I'm trying to measure some items on my own without any assistance. I appreciate that the numbers and lines are larger since it makes it easier for my aging eyes to read the measurements and reduces eye strain (Side note: Getting old sucks). Anyway, I have been using it intermittently around the house for the past four months and I would absolutely recommend it. I also have no complaints about it.P.S. My girls, ages 8 and 5, occasionally play with it and haven't broken it either. Even though they aren't boys (and you can tell the difference with boys), the tape measure is still functional. I'm happy with my buy overall.
