WOW, I've had several varieties of ginger, and this is undoubtedly among the best I've ever had. It is chewy and slightly tough. The ones that are all mushy and stringy, like those I've tried, don't appeal to me. This is thinly sliced and a little bit firm at first (I keep mine in the fridge), but it quickly becomes soft and chewy from saliva and becomes warm in your tongue. This ginger is also among the spiciest I've ever had in terms of flavor. But I like it because you have to "pace" yourself because it is so hot to simply eat a piece after another. But it is DELICIOUS.Since it's a natural product, I would expect some variation across batches since each plant would have a unique range of hotness, softness, stiffness, etc. But since this will now be my primary supply of ginger, I hope it is fairly constant. The fact that the pricing is among the lowest available is even more astonishing. My neighborhood grocery shop sells candied/crystallized ginger in bulk for about $7 per pound, but my version has a far superior texture and flavor and costs only about half as much.

I originally purchased a bag of this ginger from Costco, but they no longer sell it. Amazing ginger, I tell you. It's the best combination of hot, spicy, and sweet ginger I've ever eaten. When I add this to my chicken fried rice, my husband, who dislikes the taste of ginger in food, will ask for seconds. I also add it to my hot Chai tea, let the pieces sit there while I drink it, and then treat myself to the tea-infused slices afterward. Just leaving it in its self-sealing bag on my counter for months has resulted in excellent preservation. Finding this on Amazon made my day. I see that there is not much stock left; I sure hope Amazon keeps selling it. No matter where I purchase fresh ginger, whether it is at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, or neighborhood Asian markets, the flavor never compares to this one. I wholeheartedly endorse it.

It is just as expected and described. It tastes "excellent" to me, as it should, in my opinion.Anything not cultivated in the USA, not certified organic, etc. doesn't excite me. However, I am aware firsthand that ginger, particularly from the region of origin mentioned, is a significant food source and that any problems would surface soon. Since organic food is so absurdly expensive, I just switch brands to keep everything under control. This product's contents are listed simply, and as I previously stated, I am fine with it. I'm not aware of any allergies to sulfur, but I do have a lot of inexplicable food allergies that I need to be very careful about. I don't anticipate any problems, though. Since the act of making candy is a form of preservation in and of itself, I honestly don't see why it is added as a preservative. My "use by" date was obvious, simple to locate, and accurate for what I anticipated. My bag said it was made in New Jersey, where there is a sizable and diversified "asian" community that consumes a lot of ginger, just like us.I give it a 4 star overall for this first buy, barring unforeseen problems or an organic USA source at this price range, only since it isn't grown in the USA and/or organic and is at this price point.

The freshness of Oh! Nuts candied ginger is the first thing you notice.I was in the middle of a sick episode when I initially got my gift from "Oh! Nuts," and I had no idea what anything tasted like. I nibbled into a slice of the ginger and thought, "What?? This is what? That's really intense." Even in the strange taste-fog of illness, I could taste the difference between the candied ginger from different producers.I can't imagine ever switching back to my other brands now that I'm not sick. This candied ginger is offered for sale while it is still soft and fresh, and it has a chewy texture that is never stringy or dry. Having all those healthy oils and juices is vital because I use this stuff largely as a tea ingredient and as a snack.I'm so happy that I came onto Oh! Nuts. I strongly advise you to switch to their products if you enjoy candied ginger. But be warned—it could be a little overwhelming at first if you've never tasted exceptionally fresh candied ginger. After the product has been on the shelf for a few days, the flavors will calm down a bit and change from the taste of fresh ginger that is crisp to a gummy sweetness that you have never experienced.Nut-bros, keep up the fantastic work.

I was initially a little worried that the ginger would be too potent. I'm here to say that I have to physically restrain myself from overeating. The ginger nibbles are delicious. I just learned that I had Barrett's esophagus. I entirely blame myself, and I need to get better at work. Though it was acting up the other night, I am actually doing quite well. One of these, and just one, quickly calmed my stomach. The gastric cough has stopped. I recently ordered a backup bag to use myself and to share with others because I am so enamored with this product. My bag, which I purchased a few weeks ago, is almost halfway empty. I absolutely adore this product! I greatly appreciate it.

One bag of Paradise Green Premium Quality Dried Fruit Family Size Pack (Ginger Slices 24oz)

I wanted to adore these so badly. The product itself tastes fantastic, but there is a surprising amount of sugar in it for something that is advertised as "Uncrystallized" and "Our ginger is likewise uncrystallized, which means it's neither coated or rolled in sugar." Look at the image I've supplied to see sugar listed among the ingredients. According to what I understand, raw ginger contains no sugar, however this product claims that 24g of each 42g portion of ginger contains sugar. That much additional sugar is shocking!
Ginger is a root that has a long history of being used as a natural remedy for a variety of ailments. One of the most well-known uses for ginger is its ability to help with inflammation. There are a few different ways to use ginger for this purpose. One is to take ginger supplements, which are available in most health food stores. Another is to make a tea by steeping ginger in boiling water for several minutes. Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce swelling and pain. It is also a natural antacid, so it can
Dried ginger can last for several months if it is stored properly. Keep it in a cool, dark place in an airtight container. Check it occasionally to make sure it is not moldy or rancid.
The amount of ginger you should take for inflammation depends on the severity of the inflammation. For mild inflammation, 1-2 grams of ginger per day is typically sufficient. For more severe inflammation, 3-4 grams of ginger per day may be necessary. If you are taking ginger for the first time, it is best to start with a lower dose and increase gradually as needed.
Ginger has a long history of being used for its medicinal properties. It’s been used to help with everything from nausea to inflammation. So, how much ginger should you consume a day? The answer depends on why you’re taking ginger. If you’re using it to treat nausea, you may only need a small amount. But if you’re taking it for its anti-inflammatory properties, you may need a higher dose. The general recommended dose is 4 grams of ginger per day. But, again, this may vary depending on
