Several months ago, after reading a few articles on the health advantages, I made the decision that I wanted a stand-up desk. I made a temporary stand-up desk out of cardboard boxes I had lying around the office and propped up my two monitors, laptop, and keyboard on it. That was effective for a few months! The first week was the most difficult, but things soon became simpler. The biggest annoyance was that if I wanted to sit for a short period of time, it would be too much trouble to disassemble and reassemble it. I had to stand all the time, which wasn't practical. My temporary cardboard desk fell a few of weeks ago. Fortunately, nothing was damaged, but that episode made me realize it was time for the real thing. I had stood there long enough to realize that it wasn't just another of my whims.This desk was ordered, and it arrived a day earlier than expected. It was simple to assemble. There isn't a meeting. After 15 minutes of setup, I was ready to resume work. The desk is gorgeous. I can see why taller people have given the desk unfavorable reviews because, at 5'10" (1.78 meters), it is the perfect height for me. If I had been a couple of inches taller myself, my review might not have been as positive. It's just right for my height. To give you an idea of how it appears, I've included a few images. The desk next to me, a guy who is 5 feet 10 inches tall, may be seen in the second photo I provided.Some have claimed that the desk is shaky. I'm taking away one star because when I bang on the keyboard, the monitors do occasionally tremble. Although I don't see any possibility of it falling or of anything falling off of it, I wouldn't describe it as "unstable." It simply causes a slight annoyance. I adjusted right away. I didn't mind it too much because my previous desk was made of cardboard. For those who are my height or shorter—and perhaps an inch taller—I do recommend this workstation.Being able to transition between sitting and standing with ease is a huge benefit! The hazards of standing too long are also there (varicose veins).

Like many others, I experience some fairly incapacitating back problems. The worst thing for my back is spending hours at a time hunched over a keyboard, which is something I frequently do at work. I routinely type and write while stooping to read documents and articles on my monitor. Therefore, a standing desk seemed to be the logical progression after trying a variety of "ergonomic" chairs and devices to address this issue.The FEZIBO manual edition is what I bought. The lift and lower mechanism is the same as what your desk chair employs. You can position it up and down rather simply with a little practice because it raises smoothly and slowly enough while feeling more like assisted lifting. I've never had a keyboard so comfortably set up; there were no awkward wrist positions or even the necessity for wrist rests.It has a strong feel about it. When you bump my two monitors, there is slight wobble, but typing and mouse use are both stable and without any issues. Additionally, with my Darth Vader stress toy placed beneath one, it completely stopped wobbling. If you have a tendency to lean on things, I would caution you that there would be risks involved because this would not be like leaning on a desk. I am also surprised by how lengthy periods of standing don't bother me and how little I actually lean forward.The keyboard tray is not very huge, thus larger keyboards could feel a little crowded. That is the one drawback. It worked for me since I have a very basic, wired keyboard with no frills, but if you had a huge, wireless Wave or Ergo board, it will fit, but there won't be much place for a mouse.Another essential component is a mat for tension alleviation. If you're anything like me and alternate between sitting and standing, I recommend placing your mat on top of a doormat with a sliding surface. So that I may easily remove it with my foot or by shoving it beneath my desk. I recently purchased a decent thick rectangular stress relief mat, and I'm thinking about getting one with massage balls and various angles as well. It makes a huge impact in any case.

This sit/stand desk is fantastic, and I think it's a hundred times better than the one I use at work. I was given a sit/stand desk by Ergotron at work, and I enjoyed standing because it completely healed my back, neck, and shoulder concerns. However, that device takes up so much space and is so heavy to carry with two full-sized monitors attached (I am a little lady with a rotator cuff issue), leaving me very little room on my work desk even with an executive workstation. This workstation costs $600 more than my office desk, and the keyboard tray is too narrow to accommodate an ergo keyboard and mouse. We purchased the other workstation for the entire team, what a waste! I wish I had tested this one first!Since I already have a desk at home, I chose this one since it has a smaller footprint and a larger keyboard component than the other options on Amazon. This was crucial so that I could position my mouse and keyboard ergonomically and on the same level. It fits just right. The keyboard tray's little protrusion so your hands are not tucked under the top shelf is another feature I enjoy. What I enjoyedThe package was thoughtfully designed. Despite some transit damage to the box, the product was undamaged because of the excellent packaging design.Although there aren't many words in the instructions, the photos are quite self-explanatory. Following the instructions was quite simple because all of the parts are marked with numbers (and letters for the screws). Additionally, a little screwdriver was included in the box, so no additional tools are required (I still went ahead and used my electric screwdriver to make things easier).What I believe could be improved:There is not enough room for a CPU (computer tower) to fit in the side shelves. Certainly not for ours. Make sure the computer tower will fit if you intend to utilize the shelves for one.When assembling the desktop pieces, I realized what the final instructions caution against: it is advisable to leave the screws loose so that you can align the two pieces for a proper fit; after that, you may tighten one screw at a time while maintaining the stability of both parts. Because of this, the assembly's last phase was a little difficult, but at least they were honest about it.Overall, it's a reasonably good desk for the money; however, you need first read and comprehend all the instructions.

Since I have only been using this desk for about two weeks, I can't speak to how long it will survive, but given that it is well-made, I believe it will last for years as long as it is not misused. Due to a spinal condition and the fact that I spend most of the day sitting, I experience lower back pain. Because it was less expensive than a full desk, I chose to give it a try, and I couldn't be happier. It lifts and lowers really smoothly and easily. I can quickly shift my position. You may set it to the precise height you desire thanks to its "unlimited stops" throughout its motion range. It easily accommodates both my laptop and my 27" Apple Display and has plenty of space. I like the gear compartment since it allows me to have my gadgets in front of me. I am 5'8" and my desk is approximately 29" tall. when seated and the platform is at its highest point. When I gaze straight ahead, my eye line is exactly at the top of the screen. Another convenient feature is the adjustable keyboard angle. It is also pretty stable; if I lean against it or unintentionally bump it, I won't worry about my pricey hardware coming off. I would strongly advise purchasing this if you experience pain from prolonged sitting so that you can switch positions during the day.

I was seeking for a standing desk with a lower surface for the keyboard and an elevated area for displays. That describes this perfectly. The desk can be easily raised with almost any effort at all, and the structure is sturdy. Although it takes a bit more effort to lower than to raise, I can control the downward motion better, so it doesn't feel like it is simply dropping onto the desk. In either direction of movement, there is absolutely no trembling or wobbling, and it is equally as sturdy when elevated as when dropped.It is, however, 1-2 inches too short for me. It is impossible for a full-sized keyboard and mouse to fit on the keyboard tray as shown in the photographs. 90% of the area is taken up by my Logitech K360 keyboard, leaving no room for my Logitech M510 mouse. The keyboard is just about at the perfect height for me to type while seated, but it is far too low for standing. For standing, I have phone books under the keyboard. If I need to use the mouse a lot, I have to descend it from the top surface, which causes some shoulder and elbow pain. I rarely use the mouse unless I'm playing Minecraft or another game because I use GNU Linux with a tiling window manager.Another person reported that the keyboard tray's screws come out; however, for me, the screws only fit on one side. On the opposite side, the screws can't fully insert themselves since the holes aren't centered. Given how expertly the rest of the desk is put together, that component, which is of the lowest quality throughout, is a bit of a letdown.Overall, I like the desk, but mostly because of the height, I wouldn't buy it again. For reference, my height is six feet. This desk fits where I use it, looks excellent, and is durable, so I won't be returning it. To address the height issue, I'll probably add some lumber under the feet. I would advise someone who is 5'10" or shorter to use the desk.As you can see in the image, my setup generally serves my needs.

One of those occasions when I wish there were only half stars. I just have a few minor complaints about this excellent sit/stand workstation.Be aware that it is hefty, and if you are a smaller person, you will need assistance moving the box to your workstation and unpacking it. I did not like how this was packaged because you have to open it on the long end, turn it upside down, and then slide the unit out of the big box while a) not allowing it fall and get broken or b) not letting it hurt you. FlexiSpot needs to make some substantial improvements to the unwrapping process for such a big, awkward product from the perspective of the user experience.I wish they would resume offering a slide-in keyboard tray, as they ostensibly once did. Although the way the "wings" spread out would need a small adjustment, I can see how it could work with the keyboard tray Flexispot offers. I enjoy that there's no need for me to fiddle with screws, pre-drilled holes, or anything similar. It is put together and slid into the rails. It doesn't flex at all and feels quite solid. I don't have to make any unpleasant bodily movements to manage cables because of how easily they can be removed. Simply raise the unit all the way, then work beneath it without removing the tray.However, the keyboard's prominent curve makes it feel unnecessary "stylish" rather than practical. My favorite keyboard, the Logitech K350, which I've used for years because of how sensitive the keys are and how comfortable it is to text on (I type a lot), had to be replaced because of the curve. Using a constant 9 if this were a straight across keyboard tray "It would work just fine for the K350 and many other curved keyboards, about that all the way across. It works excellent once I switched from the K350 to the K800, but it will take some time to get used to the different keyboards.The bounce it has when I type is the second major problem I'm having. I previously owned an HP w2558hc monitor, which I liked and used for a very long time. However, at 22 pounds, it consumed too much of my allotted weight because I use three monitors " (which is one reason I got the 47" unit). Even with its robust foundation and monitor, typing would cause a jitter to appear. The wobble is worse now that I've switched from an HP to a Samsung S27F350 on a monitor arm (I can type more than 100 words per minute). On the good side, this will make me concentrate on not pressing the keys so forcefully, although it is undoubtedly apparent.Monitor arms rest comfortably on the platform. Since it is about 3/4" thick and leaves about 5 3/8" between the top of the desk and the bottom of the FlexiSpot platform when it is fully lowered, most clamp-style arms ought to fit. The lack of grommet holes in the platform is a little surprising, but I can see how that may damage the overall construction given how thin it is.Even with three monitors affixed to it, movement is fluid and generally simple. Although losing about 13 pounds of the monitor was undoubtedly helpful, I had no trouble raising, lowering, or moving the 22-pound HP to any desired location. I appreciate that I'm not restricted to a set of pre-set positions because I can see myself using the stand, stand-stool, and chair positions at various times during the day. Flexibility is therefore essential. Although I believe the weight limitations to be relatively cautious, I wouldn't want to take a chance by approaching them to the fullest. Without sufficient upper body strength, you run the risk of being unable to raise the platform, especially given its size.Whether it's the top surface or the wings of the keyboard tray, the surface of the device is smooth enough to write on. This is pretty great, but you can't really use the surface as a desk because of the ridiculous "phone/tablet" slot. FlexiSpot, that one is poorly designed. When you replace a desk top, a significant percentage of its utility is lost because the slot occupies virtually the whole width of the platform.The keyboard tray's wings are wide enough for me to utilize my mouse without any problems. However, I'm ordering a new mouse pad because my current one, a round 3M mousing surface pad, doesn't fit on the wing very well and slides off when I lower it to sit. Since it locks in place in the rails, I tried moving the tray out a tiny bit to prevent that, but that merely introduced a slight bounce in the keyboard tray itself, which I didn't like like. You may get different results because I'm not a big mouse-waggling gamer. You could easily create something that joins to the rail frame with a larger wing on either the left or the right hand side given how the tray mounts to the workstation. The keyboard tray's surface is slicker than the one on my old under-desk keyboard/mouse tray, which makes the mouse pad more likely to move around. Since I need a new mousepad anyhow, I chose one that I expect will have more tackiness on the underside, which will hopefully solve that issue. This is not, in my opinion, a flaw with the FlexiSpot per se, but rather another adjustment I had to make to the way my workstation was set up.FlexiSpot may take this product to the next level and give it a 5 star rating in order to dominate the competition in this market.1. Grommets, as I already stated.2. Integrated cable management While I enjoy the cable wrap and 3M adhesive, repositionable cable ties that let you "place them where you want them," the device would be significantly improved if it included a built-in cable tray in the rear coupled with, perhaps, three small grommets or a mesh wire pass-through around the back.3. A place for a cup. Even though it may seem foolish, the functionality of the workstation would be significantly improved if the surface included a hole or recess that could accommodate a 12 ounce can or cup of a size that is comparable. Since setting up and utilizing the workstation for the past two days, I've been quite worried about knocking my cup of water over while moving it up or down or by accident because I had to rearrange so many things in my regular workflow to make room for the standing technique. A cup holder would alleviate that problem, and as this is being placed on top of an existing desk item, it's possible that one already there. Because desks are stationary, they don't require cup holders; nonetheless, you are fundamentally altering this belief.4. Give the phone/tablet holder a cover. Give me a choice and a way to make that surface a continuous piece of desk because it is worthless but I suppose other people could find it useful. You have recessed it a little, but what if you did it again? "You could have a pop-in/pop-out piece of plastic that leaves the surface continuous and useful as a desk if you left that small groove around it. The tray is actually worthless for me because all of my tablets and phones have cases on them, thus it is useless as designed. Every image you provide of someone using this product shows a device without a case. Is there anyone left on the globe that uses a phone or tablet without at least SOME kind of case? I want to find a means to get at least a portion of this surface back to myself. As an alternative, if you advanced the slot by 2-3 "I could write on more surface area if I had access to it, which could help with a lot of the issue.5. USB 3.0 ports that are sunken into the surface, along with a cleverly positioned wire that extends out the back to connect to my PC. Use a USB hub or some of that stupid "phone holder" strip on the wings in front of the lift handles, if possible. The fact that it is recessed into the surface appeals to me because no cords will protrude from it and obstruct my view. Although the phone/tablet slot has pass-throughs, a USB hub would make this method more convenient and useful.6. Monitor power outlets on the back. Since you would only have to manage one cable to an outlet instead of managing multiple cables that need to be snaked around and secured in some way so they don't get in the way when raising or lowering the workstation, that would solve a lot of cable management problems.All in all, a fantastic device; I'll continue to use FlexiSpot for my other work surfaces, which I intend to convert soon. It has a really great use case, and I think it's a high-quality device.

I'm here to say that 1) this is a real standing desk, and a good one at that, and 2) whether or not I'm a real person is still up for discussion, but 3) I am a living creature whose doctor told her to put an end to her sedentary lifestyle and quit it with the corn syrup already despite having high-functioning organs.I'm shorter than most people at 5'3", therefore I'm more grounded. I'm not bragging; I'm telling you this for the same reason I tell you I have wrists that belong on a third-grader with jaundice. The desk is simple to modify, and it can be set to virtually any height. However, I must caution you: from my experience, it seems to dislike being slightly over its flattest point; instead, it just collapses, and you must pull it back up from stasis. like I would be in any theme park. Don't let the fact that you, reader, are likely taller than I am stop you. In any case, your sitting equals my standing.I was most concerned about whether or not it would support two monitors. It does. If only my father had experienced such good fortune in Reno. When lowering the desk, I have to be careful not to scratch the monitors, but it's just a little smear. When I lean against it because my legs are sore from all this "standing" nonsense, I'd say it can support an astounding amount of weight if it can carry two monitors, volume six of the OED, and me.For me, the major appeal is that it comes already constructed and without any sharp edges. The only way you could hurt yourself while opening the box is if you cut yourself. Ace, that's on you.Because it appeared to be the most straightforward standing desk and the one that would be the simplest to tuck under my fourteen-inch arm the day I was ultimately let go, I gambled on it. Of all the adjustable standing desks you can get online, it's likely the most compact and lightweight. To ensure that the Yosemite winds won't knock it over and scatter my tinned pork all over the fire at the hobo camp, I almost wish it were heavier.Overall, I'm extremely pleased with it! Place a one! I gave this laptop stand a four-star rating since it took me about an hour to put it together and the table top cannot be turned. There were thorough diagrams in the instructions, but since I am a reader, there were no written instructions to go along with the diagrams. However, it is just the right size, and my laptop is sitting on it. Although it was advised to use the curved side facing you, I have used both sides. It is flexible enough to move in front of me while I am seated on the sofa and small enough to tuck away in a corner when I am not using it. I appreciate the rolling legs' ability to tuck under the sofa when not in use more than anything else.

This desk is excellent. Everything came in beautiful packaging. Reading the instructions was simple. came with a tiny screwdriver to construct. I spent no more than 45 minutes constructing the desk by myself. I advise using a power drill since, once I made the decision to remove it, it moved much more quickly. There were no instructions for the smaller side on the left, which I preferred. I would advise planning it out beforehand if that's what you're doing because I had to switch and remove a few of the bottom poles. The only issue I have with the desk is that the included screws are silver rather than black like the poles should be. The majority of people probably won't notice, but black screws would be a lovely addition. Very beautiful and sturdy overall.
