Yes, you can connect headphones to a car. There are a few ways to do this, depending on what type of car you have. Some cars have an auxiliary input that you can use to connect headphones. Other cars have Bluetooth, which you can use to connect wirelessly.
If you're in a pinch and need to use an AUX cord but don't have one on hand, you can try using a cigarette lighter. Just be warned that this isn't the ideal solution and may not work for all devices.

Normally I don't write reviews, but I find them to be quite valuable when making purchases, and the remarks about the foam covering made me apprehensive. So far, I've only utilized one of the two sets. However, the one I did try automatically connected because it used infrared technology. I only needed to turn it on B. My toddler hasn't used them yet, but the foam doesn't appear at all flimsy. But they appear to be strong. I can see how kids would forget to remove the battery from their devices because they don't do it automatically like the ones that came with the Odyssey, but this is true of any battery-powered device that children use.Edit: My 3-year-old is good about turning them off. The foam covers have held, and they are still in tact. I'm extremely happy. Actually, my kids prefer them to the ones that came with the Odyssey.

I recently purchased these for the kids to watch movies on on a nine-hour car ride. These were praised by all of the children. I was able to converse to my wife without shouting above the sound of the movies, and the drive was peaceful. One person complained that they were too tight, but we were able to make them slightly looser by bending them backward and stretching them out. Batteries survived the entire 18-hour round trip, and there were no reports of sound shutting off. I adore how the LED changes color to show whatever channel you are now watching. When turning them on for the first time, it was helpful. I anticipate them to endure a very long time because they feel strong and well-made.

Let's round this up even if it really only deserves 3.5 stars. The following qualities would also need to be present for it to receive a 5-star rating, in my opinion: the eye-catching style and modern appearance of PURO brand headphones... PURO only makes Bluetooth-enabled headphones, so that may not be a fair comparison; b) softer/thicker ear cushions and the ability to purchase more ones ĂÂ la carte; c) the availability of color-coded "skins" for purchase so that there are options other than simply black. However, the children (ages 9 and 11) appear to find them to be plenty cozy. While it functions, in my opinion, the product has a look and feel that is about $20; it is relatively fragile and has a subdued appearance. However, you won't find all that many dual-channel IR phones in the Amazon-sphere anyway. The headphones do "fold flat" to save space, the headband can be adjusted to fit either an adult or a child's head (although the earpiece is a little small for adults), and there is an auto-off feature (which I haven't actually tested but have read about in the description), so you get a lot of "double sawbuck" for your money. I did, however, wish that it had some sort of carrying case.Do the volume levels matter? Well, I just recently put in an in-headrest DVD system in my car, so that's why I bought these IR headphones. I'd estimate that the loudness reaches its maximum at approximately 65 db while using the tiny DVD headrest speakers and cranking the volume all the way up (to setting #15). The volume will then replicate at 65db when you connect the headphones using the built-in 3.5mm headphone ports. The volume on the headphones will always be 65 db no matter how you turn the volume slider or control. Strange, huh? Therefore, the decibel level when utilizing the headphone jack will not change and will be the same as the DVD speaker volume. However, you purchase this for its IR capabilities. It also functions as intended. You can connect wirelessly if the DVD headrest is set to "IR A" and your headphones are tuned to Channel A; similarly, if the DVD headrest is set to "IR B" and your headphones are tuned to Channel B, you can connect wirelessly. Interestingly, however, you can really adjust the level using the volume dial on your headrest when synced wirelessly. You can turn the volume all the way down to 0. However, strangely, you can turn the volume all the way up to what sounds to me like the 100 db range. As a result, you might need to keep an eye on the volume your children are listening at since they may turn it up to dangerous levels.audio quality? It's okay. No need to use a lot of adjectives. It performs as promised. It is nice enough for me to recommend and I am sufficiently happy. However, the youngsters appear to find them to be cozy enough. While it functions, in my opinion, the product has a look and feel that is about $20; it is relatively fragile and has a subdued appearance. These are by far my favorite little earbuds of the several manufacturers I've bought more than a dozen of. They have been quite understanding of water accidents, including a FULL WASH with a second rinse through the washing machine, in addition to working effectively for the most part.It astounded me that they continued to function flawlessly after a complete recharge and drying time of about a day. After a few weeks or so of consistent use, the majority of batteries often last for more than 4 hours. My major issue with these little earbuds has been that they frequently come out in awkward locations. Someone should conduct research on the mechanics of little Bluetooth earbud bouncing since it's astonishing how far they can travel and how quickly they vanish after doing so over a hard surface.Because they are magnetic, one tip I've discovered is to search the area where they vanished for anything metal because they might have attached themselves there, no matter how small (like a staple!). It can be difficult to lose one in a kitchen full with metal gadgets, so be thorough.I also suggest purchasing the supplemental insurance. It's worthwhile to keep an eye on your battery life before the 30-day warranty expires so that if it doesn't maintain an acceptable charge by then you still have time to exchange them if you don't lose them but they break (a rare event in my experience).Overall, they function quite well, have a respectable battery life (apart from the few problems stated), and are very tolerant of messes like sinks, puddles, drinks, and even the occasional run-in with a washing machine.None of the ones I have, which cost more than four times as much, perform better.

I recently bought them to replace the Vizualogic headrest video/tablet unit headphones that came with my 2016 Tundra Platinum, which were okay but not fantastic. These made a terrific first impression, especially in regard to how the construction quality felt at first. They suited my kids' heads wonderfully, felt heavy (in a good way), were flexible as promised, and wrapped around their little ears to create an even better fit than the over-ear headphones, which would never stay in place. After closer inspection, I have no idea why they had that problem since mine closed snugly with a little pressure provided when twisting the cover. At first, I read many reviews that said the battery cover kept popping off, which nearly turned me off. When you are immediately in front of my headrest unit and have the channel set, you are about 3 feet away, and when you are on the other side of the vehicle, you can get a little hazy, but it is not a major problem.Although I haven't tested the battery life or the auto off feature yet, I most definitely adore it. Thus, I purchased a 20-pack of Amazon Basic AAA batteries. The only real complaint I have is that when you fold the headphones, they slightly scratch the outside, but nothing majorââŹâit just comes off with a brush of a wet finger.Overall a fantastic product, but we'll give you more information after our forthcoming family vacation.(UPDATE) I've just returned from a 20-hour family vacation, and I can attest that these headphones worked flawlessly. My kids have been watching films for more than 12 hours, and the batteries are still working. I suppose buying 20 Amazon AAA batteries was excessive. Other than the battery cover popping off once when my daughter dumped the batteries on the truck's floor, there are still no difficulties to report. The small fuzziness when drawing audio from the other side was eliminated when I had my kids pull audio from their own iPads on the headrest.Still living up to my original assessment that it was a fantastic buy.

Before today, I had never written a review. These were just brought to me an hour ago. As soon as I turned them on, they worked flawlessly, so I immediately rushed outside to our van to test them out. The sound is fantastic and fits well! I just ordered another set because they are superior to the flimsy ones that came with the van and they exceeded my expectations.

With my aftermarket "Chameleon" brand car DVD player in my Honda Odyssey, these function beautifully. I got two pairs of these because the user's manual stated that the DVD player is compatible with any IR headphones, and they are excellent. I only had to turn them on, and they got to work right away. For my three and five year olds, they are ideal. They fit my husband and I if I make the necessary adjustments, and they fit them when they are on the small size. We'll need to handle them carefully to prevent damage, as with other electronics. Although we'll need to keep a tight eye on them when kids are using them, they look to be of outstanding quality, so we should be fine.

Excellent automobile headphonesââŹâfar superior to any we had bought. We purchased three of these. They are respectable and reliable headphones for DVD players in cars. The headphones are more fashionable than other infrared headphones, especially for children, thanks to the red striped pattern. I also adore the plug-in option. The considerate pouch that comes with the pack that can be used to store the foldaway headphones is an additional plus. The ability to listen to the radio while the kids watch movies in their cozy headphones is fantastic.I definitely got my money's worth!

Can be a little touchy, but considering these are my first IR headphones, I believe that's simply how they are. For instance, if you try to listen from the van's front seat, you'll lose connection; however, if you sit in the middle or back row, you'll regain it. They have been with us for about a month and have performed excellently. They take up a lot of room and are a little clumsy when folded up, so it's challenging to find a spot for them. One of the ear cups has a battery cover on the outside, and occasionally one of them comes off. Overall, however, there isn't much to complain about because these were a terrific purchase at a great price.
Yes, you can use Bluetooth headphones in a car. You can connect them to your car stereo via Bluetooth or to an auxiliary input.
Bluetooth headphones do not require Wi-Fi in order to function. They use Bluetooth technology to connect wirelessly to your device. Bluetooth is a short-range wireless technology that is designed for low-power, low-cost devices.
Most cars nowadays have an AUX port. This is because more and more people are using their phones or other portable devices to play music in their cars. The AUX port allows you to connect these devices to your carââŹâ˘s stereo system so you can play your music through the carââŹâ˘s speakers. If your car doesnââŹâ˘t have an AUX port, you can still play your music through the carââŹâ˘s stereo system by using a Bluetooth adapter.
Adding a headphone jack to a car stereo is a relatively easy process that can be completed in a matter of minutes. The first step is to purchase an adapter that will fit into the car's stereo system. Once the adapter is purchased, simply plug the headphone jack into the adapter and then plug the adapter into the car's stereo system. That's all there is to it!
If your car doesn't have Bluetooth built-in, you can still enjoy the convenience of hands-free calling and music streaming by adding a Bluetooth adapter. This small device plugs into your car's audio input jack and wirelessly pairs with your phone. Once connected, you'll be able to make and receive calls and stream music without ever having to take your phone out of your pocket.
