Do tweeters count as speakers?

Do tweeters count as speakers? This is a question that often comes up among audio enthusiasts. The simple answer is that tweeters are speakers, but they are a specific type of speaker that is designed to reproduce high frequency sounds. Tweeters are typically smaller than other types of speakers, and they are often mounted in a different location than the other speakers in a system. This is because high frequency sounds are more directional than low frequency sounds. While tweeters are designed to reproduce high frequency sounds, they are not the only type of speaker that can do this.

Genuine Subaru H631SFJ101 Tweeter Kit Review:

I tried it on my fifth-generation Toyota 4Runner with the factory non-JBL audio system after seeing that these worked on the Tacomas. It only took ten minutes to install them, and they were a direct fit. Simply remove the speaker cover and use a 10mm socket to remove the two nuts on each tweeter. Reinstall the two bolts after unplugging the factory plug from the previous (cheap paper) tweeter and plugging it into the new Kicker tweeter. Reinstall the speaker cover, and you're done! The change in sound was immediately audible. I initially only placed the Kicker tweeter on the left side before playing my typical music selection. To compare the new and old tweeters, I moved the audio slider to play music on only the left side first, and then only the right side. The vocals became more clearer and more prominent thanks to the new tweeter. Beats and instrumentals had a lot more detail up top and sounded terrific at both low and high volume levels.Although the price is a little high, I am delighted with this tweeter set because of the speedy installation and the fact that I didn't have to worry about soldering or making speaker mounting materials.

Infinity REF-6522EX Shallow-Mount 6-1/2 Inch Coaxial Car Speakers Review:

These were installed in a 2001 VW Eurovan that had incredibly poor aftermarket speakers from Kenwood. It was difficult to believe that those Kenwood speakers had truly been installed in place of the factory speakers. The vehicle has 3.5-inch and two-way coax door speakers "speakers facing the windshield were mounted in the dash. Even worse, the quality was lacking. Somehow, it appeared that someone believed four subpar speakers would produce a better audio experience than two subpar speakers. Nope. Anyhow, I installed these in the pre-existing door holes and created unique spherical angled tubes to mount the tweeters on the door panels higher up towards the window sill so they direct sound more directly onto the ears of the front occupants.Because of how much more powerful these speakers are, the plastic door assemblies of the beloved old Eurovan were just unable to withstand the vibrations. I knew it was the doors and not the speakers even though the entire structure shook and hummed incongruously. To stop plastic components from buzzing against one another, I went through the entire door and window slider assembly and jammed and glued in pieces of rubber and felt.I could finally hear the speakers and only the speakers after the buzzing was all gone. I now have a sizable collection of upscale headphones and earbuds at home, along with some great audio equipment. A car on the highway is a really noisy place to be, especially if it's a 20-year-old van with a lot of rattles and squeaks. These gadgets make a pretty wonderful sound when the engine is off. It is unavoidable that they lose some detail and a lot of bass to all the background noise at highway speeds and higher volumes to cancel out the wind and road noise. Anyway, I'm quite pleased with them and can turn them up as loud as I need to without any distortion. When you consider the surroundings, it sounds quite musical.Regarding the holes where the previous 3.5 "I left the speakers empty when they left. I'm not sure what two additional speakers would add when these two door speakers now sound excellent. Simply said, I would probably have more noisy areas that needed to be fixed. Actually, if I want, I can use those holes as cup holders. There weren't many cup holders in VWs back then.

Rockford Fosgate Prime R1T-S 1-Inch Tweeter Kit Review:

Wow! Excellent value for the money. In comparison to my 2015 Jeep Wrangler's factory tweeters, I could immediately tell the difference. Installing it on the front dash of a JK Wrangler is quite simple. The speaker is removed by prying off the speaker grill and two 7mm bolts. the factory tweeter harness must be unplugged. Here, creativity is required. In order to remove the tweeter from the metal bracket it is mounted to, I used a flat head screwdriver (you will be using the metal bracket for the new tweeter). After removing the speaker from the bracket with a pry bar, install the replacement tweeter in the bracket using silicone or a glue gun. The power and ground from the new tweeters must now be connected to your factory harness. Gray/yellow and grey/purple wires are used for electricity and ground, respectively. Installing was quite simple and only took a few minutes. Compared to factory settings, the speakers are much louder and clearer.

Pioneer TS-T110 7/8-Inch Hard-Dome Tweeter (Pair) Review:

PURCHASE THIS TWEETERS! These sound wonderful. However, they are SHARP, so you might want to lower your treble or highs. These will undoubtedly cut through your midrange and bass. They are very distinct. Installation guidelines are terrible! Hello, Pioneer Although I am aware that most males never read the directions, today I would have. I gave up and made my own arrangements using just hazy diagrams and photos. I just applied superglue to the back of the flushmount flange item using a 2" hole cutting bit. By the way, you should be able to connect them directly to your current speaker signal because they contain an integrated capacitor or crossover of some form. These tweeters have a powerful magnet on the back. These, in my opinion, are of good quality. I advise purchasing these to bolster any automobile stereo. Without good, clear high frequencies, you'd be shocked at what you're missing.

DS18 PRO-TW120B Super Tweeter in Black - 1", Aluminum Frame and Diaphragm, 300W Max, 200W RMS, 4 Ohms, Built In Crossover - PRO Tweeters Are the Best in the Pro Audio and Voceteo Market (Pair) Review:

I had to get a second set because I adore these items so much. The first set I've installed since I bought them, which was probably less than a year ago. When I opened these and realized how big and what they were, I must admit that I at first felt silly. I wasn't foolish when I bought them; rather, I was foolish because I assumed all tweeters were the same as the ones you get when you order speaker sets that include tweeters, mids, and woofers. Truly, those tweeters in those type sets are a joke. They are completely incomparable to tweeters of this type. These are just fantastic! I did say great. I could go on and on, but the point is that if you want true tweeter sound, these are priceless. They are 200 watts rms and 400 watts max. I have 4 ohms that handle 1.8k–18k Hz and have a 1.75 in. diameter. 98 dB is the sensitivity. They add a lot of volume to my truck's extremely loud sound system and are high temperature. Don't forget not to go deaf! Super Bullet Tweeter DS18 1.5" 400 W Max Aluminum PRO-TW310P - (Pair)

Skar Audio TWS-01 1-Inch 240 Watt Max Power Neodymium Silk Dome Tweeters, Pair Review:

This tweeters appear to be the deal of the century. REAL Neo magnets and silk cones typically cost more than this. They can easily handle my kappa amplifier and provide sound that is clear and detailed. When the volume is close to its maximum, there is some distortion, but my amp is a class D, thus it also warped the t1675s components. For the most objective assessment, I would adore to hear them driven by a class A/B amp and a high-end receiver. *Update* I'm currently driving these with a sq class Zapco amp with the finest $20 tweeter ever, infinite kappa perfect crossover.

2 PACK DEAL Audiopipe 500w High Frequency Car Truck Boat Stereo Tweeters Built-in Crossover Review:

I'm not sure if they are particularly good tweeters. They can withstand power, but they are really high. almost being too high. resembles air in certain ways. Definitely made on a budget. similar to how low-grade the material is. also the package. I've never seen wires so thin. But I am 4 for $8. It is whining. New wires that have been soldered are better.
