Nice-sized chicken pieces for sandwiches, soups, and casseroles; however, it would be a waste to drain the flavorful broth off in order to prepare a sandwich. When I prepare macaroni and cheese from a box, I adore substituting broth for milk, and adding chicken to the macaroni and cheese results in a really straightforward but delicious main dish. Alternatively, you might use condensed soup in place of the water. Additionally tasty when prepared with frozen vegetables and rice, possibly seasoned with a touch of soy sauce. It is a great approach to prepare a quick supper when you are short on time because it takes much less time than cooking raw chicken to make these meals. If you want something you can eat on the go or for a picnic, it also makes nice enough sandwiches. Or if you have very excellent sandwich bread or if you truly enjoy sandwiches. I find the picture on the can to be absurd, but I do like this canned chicken in a sandwich to most sandwiches, especially when it is used to make soups, stews, or casseroles.

For my toddler daughter, I started purchasing the Gerber Graduates Chicken Sticks. She would barely have a couple before I put the jar in the refrigerator, at which point the packing fluid would thicken and resemble jelly. She stopped eating them after that. She rejected them despite my best efforts to rewarm them. Additionally, they weren't inexpensive (about $1.50 each jar). When I discovered these Chicken Vienna Sausages, I was taken aback. They cost less than $1 per can with subscribe and save, and the cans are twice as big as the Gerber Graduates, so they're considerably cheaper. The nutritional facts are similar, and the ingredients were nearly identical:Chicken sticks from Gerber: 110 calories, 60 fat caloriesTotal Carb 2g Protein 10g Total Fat 7g Cholest 55mg Sodium 300mgChicken Armour Vienna Sausages: 100 calories, 70 fat caloriesSodium 460 mg, Cholesterol 8g, and Total Fat 8gProtein 5g Total Carb 1gMy daughter will continue to eat the Vienna Sausages because the package juice didn't change into a jelly-like consistency in the refrigerator, and we won't have to throw them away. The increased salt in the Vienna Sausages is the only thing that worries me. My child barely eats them maybe twice a week, but I'd prefer not to give her more sodium. Because of the sodium concentration, I'd be hesitant to feed her these frequently, but I think they're an excellent, less expensive alternative for my kid.

Although my doctor advised against overindulging due to the mercury in the fish, I adore tuna salad. I enjoy the flavor of this (turkey). Although the meat is not overly salty to me if you drain the liquid (broth), it is a little salty for me. As previously noted, it is chunky, unlike Spam, and resembles canned tuna (a question in the Q

This item is an FAVORITE of my husband's! He consumes it straight from the can (just like tuna). If you don't have much time, it's ideal for putting together a quick lunch or dinner or for adding to recipes. As other customers have remarked, we haven't seen a problem with "fatty" parts in our chicken. Additionally, the packaging was undamaged when it was delivered, and each can had a pull-top cover. I had previously paid twice as much for this item at my neighborhood grocery store. It was then $1.54 at Walmart, which I thought was a great deal. I thus thought I had died and gone to heaven when I learned I could buy an entire case from Amazon for the same price and have it delivered to my home for free! I no longer have to carry large bags of canned chicken from the store to my car and then to my kitchen!

I thought I'd share my experience since I've been eating this variety as well as others (as well as competing, similar goods) as part of a dietary meal plan. I won't concentrate on the nutritional information because it is clearly stated on the package. Since I ordered like 20 different sorts, I'm only concentrating on my own subjective experiences, and because I'm lazy like that, I'm just going to utilize a standard template.PREPARATION: The heating time was precise; the entree was fully heated in one minute in a 900w microwave.Observations: This was far more enjoyable than I anticipated. A turkey entree can be tricky to go wrong, but Hormel did a great job with this one. The true treat in this dish was the stuffing, which was tasty and had a nice texture with CRUNCHY celery chunks that are just the correct size. Yes, the stuffing is generally a little mushy because it's in a bowl with gravy, but I can overlook that. Even though the quantity and the fact that it was all dark meat left me a little disappointed, the turkey itself was excellent, soft, and tasty. (While I can see WHY there is just dark meatââŹâwhite meat would get too dryââŹâit is still a touch disappointing.) The gravy is the product's weakest component, if there is one. Although it's not GOOD gravy, it's also not BAD gravy. It doesn't add much taste to the other ingredients in the bowl, but it also doesn't take anything away. It's merely passable.VERDICT: In my opinion, one of the best Complete entrees. Definitely going on the list for future orders.

You don't need to search any farther if you're looking for cans of chicken water containing chicken flesh. Before using it for chicken salad, it must drain for several hours unless you want rather sloppy sandwiches. Swanson ought to be ashamed given these costs.

decent chicken in a can. I used to get Valley Fresh (white, regular and organic) and I really enjoyed it. But to be honest, I prefer this one. Almost no "tuna fishy" flavor (why does canned chicken frequently taste like tuna fish?) Excellent for a quick lunch of chicken salad. Due to the big size of these cans, two reasonable sub sandwich servings (enough for two people if you don't overfill them) are provided. I make two sandwiches using the gluten-free Schar sub bread and one can. When ordering online, there is always a chance (often a rish) that the cans will be damaged, but I'm willing to take that chance again. This is a good offering.

clean, fresh, and healthful in flavor. The top canned chicken I've yet discovered. In contrast to non-organic canned chicken, the can liner has no smell and contains no additives or broth to alter the flavor. I believe the meat was tightly packed in the can before cooking, however when the can is opened, you can see meat in the water since the water naturally present in meat separates out while cooking and the meat seems to shrink. I'm not sure why it's termed roasting when it's really just been boiled in its own juices. Additionally, I don't believe it should be labeled pieces considering that it appears to be shred chicken that has been tightly compacted into a large lump. I don't mind the shredding because it saves me time by allowing me to avoid having to chop actual bits and works great in salads and soups. I just wish the cost wasn't so expensive and that larger cans were available for less money per ounce.
Canned food can provide all the nutrients you need, but it would be very boring to eat nothing but canned food. You would also need to make sure you have a can opener.
Yes, you can lose belly fat eating chicken. Chicken is a lean protein that can help you feel fuller longer and help you lose weight. Chicken also has a high thermic effect, meaning that your body burns more calories digesting it than other foods.
You can get sodium out of chicken by rinsing it with cold water, removing the skin, and trimming the fat. You can also use a low-sodium chicken broth or water when cooking.
Processed meats are meats that have gone through a curing, smoking, or canning process. This usually means that the meat has been treated with chemicals and preservatives in order to extend its shelf life. Canned chicken is considered a processed meat because it has been cooked and then canned in order to preserve it.
Canned chicken and tuna are both healthy options when it comes to seafood. However, canned chicken is typically lower in mercury than canned tuna. Additionally, canned chicken is a good source of protein and provides some essential vitamins and minerals, while canned tuna is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids. Ultimately, the healthiest option depends on your individual dietary needs.
