The kit has really pleased me. It is little and packed with everything I hope I never need, but will definitely at some time - *sigh*. This past weekend I took it with me on a lengthy hike. Only a few things had to be added for it to satisfy my requirements. I also included a few sachets of bee sting remedy, moleskin, and antibacterial ointment (which are common needs in Scouting). I sincerely hope I never need to use my kit! I haven't had to use it yet. I did look through it, and it looks to be chock-full of things I never even considered I may need! The little kit that came with it for my purse is my favorite part! The bandages and other first aid supplies that I typically just throw into my handbag wind up towards the bottom, are difficult to find, and are all warped by the time I need them. Since I purchased this as a motorcycle trauma kit and other people are likely to be going about the site at night collecting bikes and other items, I added two flashing lights. Put a dog walking flasher on yourself and the person who is down. Because I don't want to have to choose which break to splint, I added another C-Splint and a 2x sticks to itself bandage to hold the splint on. Other than that, the package is small and well organized with everything I need. I did include LED road flares to light up the wreck! I also want hours of flashing lights if I'm off-road. The kit is what you need, and it arrived much sooner than anticipated. In a kit with the lights I mentioned, there should be three times as many splints, bandages, wraps, and clotting powder. Adding a bag light that alternates between the hues red, blue, and green so you can locate the bag in the dark. Sometimes there are TWO persons involved in an accident, but you cannot ask an unconscious person because their injuries may be more serious by the time you find them. However, the bag is still with the first person. It should be simple to direct someone to deliver the bag by saying, "Go to the green flashing light and bring the kit here."

This kit is bigger than I anticipated and contains a lot of material. I believe I am well-equipped to handle wounds and sprains. The case is semi-rigid and contains many pockets for efficient organization. Both the multi-tool and the scissors and tweezers are welcome additions. The tweezers will be simpler to use because they are larger than my cosmetic tweezers. It contains a few items, such as the silver emergency blankets, q-tips, and safety pins, that I would not have thought to add. Everything is useful to have.

I've been hunting for an all-in-one kit for ten years, and this is the greatest one I've ever found. The tools are adequate but not of the highest caliber. The multi-tool is tiny, yet it comes with all the necessary tools built in and in its own nylon case. The carabiner-mounted compass functions properly. Having everything in one location is best. The zipper on the case is quite functional. Everything else you would require in the short term is there; I only added water purification pills and disposable thermometers. Since the cotton-tipped applicators are mounted on wood sticks, they can also be used to light a fire. The wire saw will work well without harming your fingers if some paracord is wrapped around the ring handles. Even better, the kit is packaged in a resealable plastic bag that may serve as a water bottle and keeps the contents clean and safe. They are securely packed.Although Monoki produces different kits with fewer components, I believe the tools are of worse quality. I appreciate that the fishing kit comes with its own compartment inside the kit. Even the fire rod is sturdy and sufficiently lengthy for simple operation. For a weekend of hiking, my wife and I made our way to the mountains. Before we went, I grabbed this "just in case." You can't beat this basket of delights for less than $15. Wonderful tiny kit I mostly purchased it for the case out of personal taste. A useful dimension, measuring about 2-1/2" deep and somewhat larger than 4"x6"... A mesh zipper pocket is on one side, while an open mesh pocket is on the other. I pulled out a triangle-shaped bandage that was roughly the size of a deck of cards. I removed the tiny 1/2" by 1-1/2" bandages. If that's all you've got, no band-aid is necessary. I replaced the tiny 1" x 2" alcohol wipes with three of the large sanitizing wipes. I rearranged some things and now there is about space on one side for my additions, such as ointment, antibiotic, chapped lip balm, etc.I also take four or five Preparation H wipes that are individually wrapped. For the 'Witch Hazel' they have, perhaps not for the intended use, but nonetheless... Excellent for bug bites, poison ivy, rashes, and even helps stop bleeding... Good for cleaning up "road rash" and wounds...Additionally, I noticed that there was one image of the kit in the advertisement with a silly-looking logo and another without. My kit didn't come with it, which surprised me since I had planned to cover it with a sticker. This emergency kit was purchased for my daughter who will be attending college out of state. I must admit, I'm impressed. It is a pretty little backpack, yet it includes everything you need and a little more space. Its size and compactness are wonderful, and it has enough supplies for her and her roommate. I'll add identification, cash, a pocketknife, waterproof paper and pen, leather gloves, water purification pills, and possibly a few other little things to it. As a volunteer in emergency management who also participates in search and rescue, I think my college-bound daughter would benefit much from having this little starter emergency pack.
