attwood SP-67749 Swivl-Eze Lock'N-Pin Aluminum 7-Inch x 7-Inch Marine Boat 3/4-Inch Pedestal Base Review:

PRO 1: Showed up on time.Fits typical 3/4-pin seat poles and bases.3. Heavy coatings and paint.4. Six screw holes evenly distribute the anchor points.5. Plastic insert can be adjusted for a snug or tight fit.6. The recessed hole for the mount to go into was drilled perfectly with a 1.5" hole saw. You should ABSOLUTELY purchase that specific size. There are no mounting screws made of stainless steel. AVOID STEEL AT ALL COSTS.2. Just one color option.3. Over time, the plastic insert sleeve can deteriorate. One day, you might need to replace it with a short piece of metal pipe.OTHER: 1. Be aware that the overall cutout will change depending on your mounting requirements.2. ALWAYS use TWO sheets of plywood underneath your mounting platform; this will make a significant impact.3. It is possible to paint it, although painting will require a little bit of sanding. But paint will probably scratch off.4. BUY if you need the base mount that is the standard size and fits 99% of all seat posts, brackets, etc.5. If you're seeking for stainless steel, DO NOT BUY. It may chip, break, or rust.

Wise 8WP21-18S Adjustable Boat Seat Pedestal 12" - 18" Review:

Made in China is stated on both the box and the pedestal's base. Although I just received it yesterday, the quality seems to be quite good thus far. When my boat's repairs are finished, I'll mount this in it, and I'll update this review then. The pedestal works, feels solid to the touch, and all of the welds appear to be robust and well-done. With the glossy aluminum, it also has a very attractive appearance. There is no hardware included. The base holes have a 5/16" diameter and a tapered tip. Each bolt hole has a thickness of 5/16. To secure it to the floor, 6 bolts or screws are required. This purchase has me extremely happy, and I would suggest it.Let me now describe how it works. The chair's swivel feature is controlled via the top knob. The knob can be adjusted to be rigid or swivel, and even have the swivel section removed from the post. The post itself is secured by the other two bottom knobs. To modify height, you pull the smaller spring-loaded knob after loosening the larger one. You can manually raise or lower a sleeve chamber into which the post slides. The little knob is dragged all the way up until the desired height is liked, at which point it is let go. The spring-loaded tiny knob must fit into many holes inside the post in order to reach its full height. Because there is no spring action inside the post, gravity will bring it down to its smallest height as soon as you turn the little knob. Unless two people cooperate, you cannot sit and change the chair's height at the same time. After the height has been set, tighten the large knob until the sleeve is tightly fastened to the post, preventing any slack movement. I hope that this may assist you in buying this pedestal. No instructions are provided, but the controls are simple to understand. Enjoy your day!

attwood 17720 Boat Seat Swivel Review:

I thus thought no way after reading the one-star reviews that claimed this was trash and would not turn. Yes, I was unable to move them by hand when mine arrived. However, it turns out that they function flawlessly! You don't want chairs on a boat to spin like the top of a weather vane!Simply insert the included boat seat screws into your seats' NON MOVING swivels and tighten them using a screwdriver through the slots in the NON MOVING Swivel. Place the seat on your mount—in my instance, a Wise double seat stand—then support it. Install a 1/4 x 20 bolt through your mount and swivel, I used a 1 1/2 " long bolt, use a flat washer and then a locking nut, and then just secure with a tool and screwdriver, as directed on the swivel.Again, shame on you for criticizing this product. If you aren't as "HANDY" with tools as you think you are, you can go to a marine service facility and hire someone with the necessary abilities to do it for you.Buy with confidence because while you are sitting in the chair, the swivels move readily, but not so quickly that you won't spin around if you lift your feet.I ordered two swivels, and both of them were fine when I got them out of the package and are still fine now.One chair is facing forward in the picture, and the other is turned to the side. Enjoy this well-made product!

Shoreline Marine Seat Post Review:

One of the seats on my boat was missing. To make things right, I replaced one pedestal and both seats. This is going to work!

Wise Locking Seat Slide with Seat Mount Review:

Compared to the mounts that came with my boat as original equipment, these seat mounts are significantly better. The seats required replacement after several years of deterioration. Although the new mounts allow considerably better adjustments and properly suit the new seats, the old ones were still working. The seat mounts appear to be very sturdy and are made of high-quality aluminum. I would heartily endorse these mounts to anyone searching for new mounts, given their low price and great quality.

Attwood Corporation Quick Disconnect Seat Mount Review:

Works effectively when attached to the bottom of a jon boat bench seat with a 5.25" square hole design and then slid onto a 6.25" square swivel plate. In order to correctly secure the disconnect to the seat bottom and avoid getting in the way of moving the swivel plate into the locking region of the quick disconnect, it was necessary to purchase larger bolts with a tapered flat head. If you want to mount this on the seat, your seat's seat must have a 5.25" square hole pattern.

attwood Corporation Seat Mount Clamp-On with Swivel Review:

The Seat Mount Clamp-On With Swivel by Attwood CorporationThis Attwood Clamp-On Seat Mount is fantastic. On my 14-foot aluminum jon boat, I used it. I can simply tighten this seat mount with the supplied wing nuts (without using the plier to tighten it). This seat is simple to remove and adjust; I have already used it a few times on the lake. I enjoy that I can move it around whenever I want, especially when I'm in the back seat and operating the boat (I don't like how the middle seat is directly in the middle and blocks my vision). I weigh 165 pounds, and even when using the seat I never once felt like I was about to fall out. Because of the several comments here mentioning how dangerous it can be if you don't use your own equipment to tighten it, I was initially dubious about this product. Evidently, I am an exception to this rule.

Wise Portable Seat Stand for Boat Seats, Black Review:

The base/stand appears to be well-made and is portable on its own. It is exactly how I anticipated a seat base to be. I am really disappointed with the pre-drilled seat mount holes, though. It is only equipped with four holes of the swivel mount kind. I intended to use pin style to quickly insert and remove extra boat seats that I had. These seats utilize a different mount, and despite my extensive searching, I was unable to locate a base that matched my requirements.

Attwood 97749-7 Swivl-Eze Lock’N-Pin ¾-Inch Pedestal Package, Brushed Aluminum Finish, 11 Inches Tall, 7-Inch x 7-Inch Base Plate Review:

Purchased a different brand, and the chair was shoddy, unstable, and hazardous for the user. I had it for six months and was unable to return. Purchased and installed: reliable and secure. TRICK: Spray silicone spray on the connecting pieces to make it simple to remove the seat from the pedestal. Less messy and excellent than other solutions posted!

Shoreline Marine Seat Base Brushed Finish SS Review:

The seat mount base is quite functional. mounted on my Sylvan boat's aluminium bench. You may need to drill a very large hole for mounting because the base's underside is convex and sticks out further. I used a metal-cutting hole saw that was about three inches long. Additionally, the plastic cup extends down an additional 1.5" or so, so I had to drill out the foam for clearance, but this was no major deal. Swivals easily and seems to be manufactured quite robustly to last for a very long time. Added purchases included an 11" pedestal and the seat mount. Happy with the purchase. received promptly.
