As a result, I filled the remaining space with this rotini and am SO grateful to have it available once more.The "flours" in this pasta, which include lentils, garbanzo beans, spelt, and flax seed, are all healthy ingredients. She never tried any other brands and always used one. Because my grandmother only used that brand and I never tried any others because she was such a great cook, I grew up believing that brand to be superior. I also never considered the possibility that she might be mistaken regarding food choices. I decided to try Barilla after seeing it on sale in my grocery one day. It was far better than what I was used to, and my only regret is that I hadn't tried it earlier. I now support Barilla!

The secret, in my opinion, is to handle them delicately during cooking. To ensure that the noodles stayed in place while they were boiling, I kept an eye on them and made sure there were no rolling boils, just little air bubbles. Then, I really carefully placed them into the strainer and washed with a (again, gentle!) stream of warm water after gently stirring them once at the beginning and several times while they cooked. As they entered the strainer, they felt a touch too floppy to me, but following the washing, they immediately firmed up as the box claims. The science behind it is beyond my comprehension, yet it worked!I added my preferred homemade cream sauce and successfully mixed it in without breaking any noodles. The texture and flavor were superb. absolutely ideal In terms of texture, I would compare these to Capella's, but I prefer these because they aren't as heavy or filling.I'll be getting a lot more of them because they are fantastic.
