This dress is gorgeous. It has a very traditional appearance and feel. Beautiful lace sleeves are present. Lace can be constricting and unforgiving, but it was elastic and comfortable on this dress. It was perfect for my city hall wedding, and I was happy to wear it. Additionally, the material is incredibly comfy and quite form-flattering on curvy ladies. I typically wear a 10/12, and my top, waist, and hips are all smaller than average. The 1xl dress I ordered fit me perfectly. I had to get the dress cut and hemmed because I'm also rather short (about 5'4"), so I'll lose the scallop at the bottom. A very gorgeous outfit all around. Similar to the image and fitting me just as it does on the image The only drawback is that, since I bought the dress for a religious occasion, I would need to put an additional piece in the back because the lining in the back is low. Apart than that, it's excellent!

I was apprehensive about purchasing a dress without trying it on first because clothes in general, but especially dresses, fit me strangely. However, I can't even begin to express how much I adore this dress. It was even better in person than I anticipated when it arrived today. The fabric has a wonderful weight to it, which allowed it to hang elegantly without being bulky or heavy. I was concerned that the dress would be too short on me because I'm slightly over 5'10, but it hits the ground just right. It was PERFECT because I intended to wear flats and wanted it to be completely floor length. Even without shapewear, which I almost always wear underneath a dress, the outfit looked flattering (and probably will wear anyway for comfort). The dress is lovely, the lace is lovely, I love how it fits, I love not having to struggle with a gazillion fasteners, AND it was less expensive than my first dress, which I wasn't really all that satisfied with. With this garment, there are several "Wins." I'm grateful.
