I received a hundred different excuses as to why my outfits, which I had ordered from the House of Brides, had not yet arrived. As anticipated, the dresses arrived early on Wednesday. The girls arrived to try on the dresses on Wednesday while we were at our nail appointment. The original standard sizes all fit flawlessly! No adjustments are required, which relieves my stress as the bride. With two days to spare, I had a dress for my daughters. I kept waiting for the original garments, but they never arrived. My wedding was saved by ANTS and prime! The girls were lovely, and even though I wanted long dresses—which were probably not prime in the right sizes—they were great! My maid of honor felt comfortable the entire night while wearing the strapless. For exceptionally tall girls, it can be a little short.

I was wary of ordering something specially made from abroad, but the cost was fair, and I reasoned that I could always take it to a local seamstress for alterations. I supplied the measurements after having myself measured at a nearby dress shop and doing an internet order. Due to the short notice, I called them, and they told me that I would receive it before the event. It arrived earlier than expected, and it was lovely. The only modification I needed to make was to slightly reduce the shoulder straps. That was completed quickly by the local seamstress. She was pleased to learn that it came from an online retailer. I have read reports from several people claiming that the dress they ordered was too small even though they claimed to be a size 20. You can choose to have your dress made to order by sending in your precise measurements. That was not done by them. I would never order a pricey ball gown online without giving dimensions. I'll buy from this business once more for the next ball!

I looked for the perfect maid of honor dress for about six months. I visited a number of bridal boutiques, from budget to high-end, but everything seemed either overly matronly or overly hectic (or what one stylist called "edgy"). When I searched for "maid of honor dresses" on Amazon, I was at my wit's end and the date was drawing near. I was surprised to discover various models by this company that matched my requirements exactly. I dislike frills and fancy things. I enjoy simple, elegant lines, and this dress has all three. Although I am quite adept at lacing corsets on my own, assistance will definitely be needed for the lacing in the rear. The fabric feels opulent. Additionally, the dress is long (I am almost six feet tall, and it reaches the floor). In addition to being a lovely maid of honor dress, I'd be willing to wear it to any formal event (and I never say that about previous bridesmaids dresses because they ended up at Goodwill). That one won't work (I had to order a size bigger because the dress is snug around the bust, but the corset lacing gives me some room.Most importantly, this business provided excellent customer service. Customer support made it possible for me to get the dress before the 14th because I required it. I'm quite pleased with my buy overall.

I bought this dress as a test run for a bridesmaid outfit. The dress is gorgeous and of excellent quality, but the color slate is more reflective silver than true grey. Although the color is really attractive, it isn't particularly similar to a flat grey. I also encountered two additional minor issues with the outfit. It appears shorter than it is. Even though I am just 5'2", part of the issue is that my legs are more shin-length than knee-length. The dress held the girls in but didn't cover as high as it would have with a normal-sized chest because I have a large bust (DD) (I think). Since the torso seams include tiny "ribs," it certainly wouldn't fit well for a small cup size either. That suggests that they did an excellent job of tailoring this dress for the typical woman, I suppose. Also, the belt is stitched on, which is neither good nor bad. It does not tie at the bow; instead, it is sewed into the dress on either side of the back zipper and would be difficult to take off. It also includes a shawl made of the same fabric as the dress. However, I would suggest this dress as a great party dress or as a bridesmaid dress because it is fantastic quality for the price. I ultimately had to send it back because the bride wanted a lot deeper grey and a bit more embellishment.
