I've never used reusable cotton pads before. They exceeded expectations in size, which is not a problem. They help that there are so many of them in a pack and that they are equally as effective as the disposable ones. Additionally, they have a mesh laundry bag that makes washing a little bit simpler.The fact that they advise against drying them in the dryer is not something I particularly like. I don't use all 16 of them in a week because they give you so many, but it took a little more than a day for them to dry entirely. To aid in their drying, I did lay them flat in a hand towel. It's a minor nuisance not to be able to put them away after I finish the rest of my washing, but I suppose I'll go ahead and try them in the dryer to see what happens.Additionally, the pads weren't "back to new clean"—especially the white ones. It's not a major deal because I know they're clean, but it could be more of an issue if I used them for anything other than toner and not simply to remove my makeup. So far, trying a more sustainable solution has proven to be well worth the effort.

As I became more conscious of how serious climate change is, I made the decision to find sustainable solutions for my daily activities. One of them is taking off my face and cleansing it without using a cotton pad. First, these neutral hues were excellent for me because I didn't want any strange colors. The fact that there are three different types of makeup remover pads—one for foundation, one that is extremely delicate for the eyes (the black one), and one that I use at the end to make sure my face is fully clean—is the second thing I really appreciate. Even if you don't travel, the travel case is still a great idea because it keeps your clean pads safe from dust. I believe the tag is a touch large, but I don't really care because I keep it between my fingers to stop it from rubbing on my skin. In any case, if it becomes too irritating, nothing stops you from cutting it. I'm glad there is a nice substitute for cotton swabs; I'll be buying some for my mother.

Although Cover Girl makeup is lightweight, it evens out my skin tone and conceals any darker areas. I once panicked because I thought they were going to stop making it. Thank goodness they got it back. This hue is a tiny bit darker than my light skin tone, which is light. The majority of cosmetics include a lot of alcohol and are therefore drying. While I enjoyed using a different brand's (much larger) makeup removal pad, I found it to be too cumbersome and untidy. Water got everywhere because of the size, etc. I searched for something more manageable and user-friendly as a result, and I found Nuli LA Makeup Remover Pads. As seen in my photos, the pads arrived in a yellow Amazon envelope that was packaged in plastic. The cleaned-out Talenti ice cream jar I kept them in fits them perfectly. With my toner, I use two pads daily, and I wash them when the fresh ones are getting low (toss in mesh bag and in the wash with my t-shirts, then in the dryer).
