Kitchen Scissors - Heavy Duty Take Apart Shears for Cutting Chicken, Poultry, Fish, Food, Meat - Black Review:

These are fantastic! They are really simple, fit my hands nicely, and perform the functions I need them to. I keep these in the kitchen and often find myself reaching for them before using anything else for the job, but I haven't tried all the various "tricks" they are capable of, such as opening a bottle or the like. I use these to open packages, chop kombu for dashi, trim meat, strip herbs, and pretty much all other tasks that don't require a real knife. (Also, beware—you'll need to replace them if you bring them home to show your family. Once you allow anyone to test them, they won't return them.) Fantastic transaction, excellent quality, and great price!

Kitchen Shears, Acelone Premium Heavy Duty Shears Ultra Sharp Stainless Steel Multi-function Kitchen Scissors for Chicken/Poultry/Fish/Meat/Vegetables/Herbs/BBQ… (Light Green) Review:

I have a lot of requirements for my kitchen shears, but the ability to be put in the dishwasher is definitely the most crucial. If you're using shears to chop chicken, cut flowers, or open tough packaging, for example, you should be able to clean and sanitize them in the dishwasher. Since receiving both pairs of scissors, I've been using them exactly as directed without any issues. The only other thing I would ask is that you separate the scissors so they may be cleaned even more thoroughly (thus only 4 stars for easy-to-clean). However, they are stylish, practical, and adaptable for the price. I do suggest them.

OXO Good Grips Multi-Purpose Kitchen & Herbs Scissors Review:

Replacements were required for a 2-year-old Zyliss and 20-year-old Henckels kitchen shears. I've tried several of the more recent Henckels models, but they didn't seem to be as well-made as the ones from 20 years ago. We also desired shears with a detachable blade for easy cleaning (like the Zyliss, but with a broken "spring action").We needed a model with a separate cutting blade for cleaning since our kitchen shears are frequently used for trimming and cutting fresh meat. Reviews of other, more expensive shears revealed that those models split too easily when the user didn't intend for them to (i.e., while cutting or just putting them away), thus we disqualified those models. These OXO shears are easy to use and make clean cuts; thus far, they have been used to separate pork ribs, cut up numerous whole birds, and chop up a pig roast into chunks for stew (at the joints, but also between the breast bone and along the backbone). It does need a little bit more effort to use the shears without a spring action, but not enough to be tiresome when performing routine kitchen prep. There is little likelihood that the blades will separate accidentally because the user has to open the scissors much wider than one would ordinarily do when cutting in order to separate the blades for cleaning. However, because they can be disassembled, they are simple to clean and disinfect. The OXO multi-purpose shears are excellent and come at a fantastic price. They are sturdy, well-made, and designed, making them comfortable for regular kitchen work.

Best kitchen Heavy Duty Cooking Scissors for Poultry, Meat, Herb Cutting – Multipurpose Dishwasher Safe Kitchen Shears - Surgical Grade Stainless Steel Review:

I purchased the two pairs of scissors on sale. The first benefit of having two pairs is that I don't have to wash the first pair right away or worry about cross-contamination if I use one pair to, say, cut up a chicken and have another pair accessible for raw vegetables. These took the place of an extremely old pair of scissors that I loved but could not sharpen (yes, I put them in the dishwasher and have since read that doing so will dull the scissors, which makes sense given that abrasive detergents are used). Since I am left-handed, I always search for ambidextrous or left-handed-specific scissors. These belong to the later group. The handles are ever so slightly smaller than the pair they are replacing, which is the one thing that is requiring some getting used to (and the reason I marked "Ease of usage" at a 4"). It's just a matter of muscle memory, and ultimately they will feel completely normal.I believe the handles are sturdy and will withstand heavy use; I know several people have inquired. These scissors do not separate for washing if that is what you're searching for. I would prefer not to have such function because, from my previous experience working with them, I considered their practicality to be too lax.

Kitchen Shears by Gidli - Lifetime Replacement Warranty- Includes Seafood Scissors As a Bonus - Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Multipurpose Ultra Sharp Utility Scissors. Review:

I've now used the shrimp scissors specifically designed for shrimp as well as the general-purpose kitchen shears. I've already mentioned how the general-purpose shears' blade alignment and cutting power when switching from left to right hand use impressed me. I just used the shrimp shears to remove the shell and nerve from a dozen shrimp, and I was astonished by how quickly and cleanly they worked! At (only) $18, this is unquestionably a fantastic Amazon purchase.

TANSUNG Kitchen Shears, Come-apart Kitchen Scissors, Anti-rust Multi-Purpose Shears for Meat, Herbs Review:

These kitchen shears are of the highest caliber. They have a lot of uses beyond the kitchen as well! I have purchased three other, less expensive pairs of poultry-cutting scissors, but they have all broken upon use. I appreciate how simple it is to disassemble these shears for cleaning. I am a stickler for hygiene in the kitchen, especially when handling chicken. I am confident that I can properly clean these shears. This year, I had to hastily clean up my garden because we are getting ready to move. I took these shears because I couldn't find my garden shears. They sliced through the garden twine I was using to support my tomato vines like butter. Even the thickest part of my tomato plants' bases were hacked down by them! Of course, I had to put in a little extra effort in a few of these places, but I was still amazed at how quickly I completed the task! I returned to the kitchen later that day, cleaned my shears, and cut up a chicken to fry for dinner. There were no indications of damage on the shears. These scissors are amazing! They are not currently in stock as of this writing. I'm hoping to order another pair when they return.

NOVASKO Premium Heavy Duty Kitchen Shears (Black/Red) Review:

I at last acquired a pair of kitchen shears that I adore. They are efficient and easy to use. The cost is reasonable. The holder for the sharp part is what I like best. I'm thrilled with the purchase. most likely purchase a second pair. I wholeheartedly endorse it to everyone!

KitchenAid KC351OHAQA Shears with Soft Grip Handles, One Size, Aqua Sky Review:

For $7.99, I purchased these a year and a half ago. I decided to write this review now since I just threw away a different pair of stainless steel scissors that I had bought from a different company at the same time for around a dollar cheaper because they were rusting. In my kitchen, I use these shears at least once per day. They still function and look fantastic. Despite not treating them lightly, they have a wonderful heft to them, and I've never sharpened them. Although I'm not sure for sure, I think the serrated edge may have something to do with the prolonged sharpness. I expected to lose the cover quickly and wasn't sure I'd enjoy the extra step, but I still use it every time. In addition to providing protection, it also clicks into place in a pleasing way. The scissors' action has never been too loose or tight. Despite my adamant requests that they remain in our kitchen so I may have them when I need them, they frequently sprout wings and vanish because they are so well-liked in my family. I recently bought two more sets of Kitchenaid scissors in the hopes that they won't fly off as frequently.

OXO Good Grips Spring-Loaded Poultry Shears, Black Review:

After several years of use, the spring on my shears snapped. I sent a picture of the broken shears after emailing customer support, and they suggested that I do so. A fresh pair would be delivered, I was told. I've been using them ever since they arrived a few days later. The only ones I've discovered that can withstand the rigorous use of chopping chicken with bones are the OXO Good Grips Spring-loaded Poultry Shears. They are quite simple to disassemble for thorough cleaning and simple sharpening. Excellent product that the firm supports. They DID shatter, which is the only reason I did not give five ratings. I believe the leaf spring contained a flaw. After everyday use for a few years, the replacement shears finally broke. They help me prepare chicken necks for my dog's food. one and a half pounds per day. a superb Dane. The spring broke in the exact same place after two years of use. After each cut, the spring is required to open the blades. using without the spring is difficult. They would make excellent shears if the spring problem could be resolved because they fit the hand comfortably and cut skin and bone well. It is challenging for me to find another style with a spring.
