Hot water bottles are often used to relieve pain, but they can also be helpful for people with anxiety. The warmth of the water can help to relax muscles and reduce tension. The weight of the water can also provide a sense of security and grounding.
There is no scientific evidence to suggest that hot water bottles burn fat. However, drinking hot water may help to boost your metabolism and promote weight loss. Additionally, applying a hot water bottle to your skin may help to loosen and break down fat cells, making them easier to eliminate from your body.
A hot water bottle can help to soothe bloating and stomach pain. The heat can help to relax the muscles in the stomach, which can help to reduce the amount of gas that is produced. The hot water bottle can also help to increase blood flow to the area, which can help to reduce inflammation.
There is no definitive answer to this question as everyone's body is different. However, some people believe that heat can help to melt belly fat. This is because when the body is heated, it can cause the fat cells to break down and release their contents. This process is known as lipolysis. While there is no guarantee that heat will help to melt belly fat, it may be worth a try for those who are struggling to lose weight in this area.

I needed to be able to open a water bottle with one hand because I drive a truck. These function nicely and appear to withstand punishment from truck bouncing and the occasional drop when I get in and out of the truck. j Also simple to clean are the lids. They are good enough for me to want to purchase more. Additionally, they fit in the majority of my cup holders in the cars I drive.

This hot water bottle is really nice. My previous one was made of rubber and over time became fragile. We can only hope it won't happen with this one. The neck and cap don't appear to contain any metal components, but I wouldn't microwave it just in case. A see-through hot water bottle could look cool, but I'm not sure what the benefit is. I mostly use it when I take my kid for winter strolls; I cover the hot water bottle in a blanket to keep it from getting too hot and place it in the stroller to keep him warm.

Being the primary caretaker for my 95-year-old mother, who gets cold even in July, let alone the winter in Connecticut, I like to think of myself as something of an expert on hot water bottles. Every day, I fill a bottle at least a few times. Over the years, we've bought a variety of different HW bottles from various drugstore chains. After the first week of many daily fills, this Home Top is by far my favorite.I enjoy the consistent fill spout first of all. There isn't a "filler flap" that blocks the funnel and has a hole for hanging the bottle. The funnel is now uniformly spaced on the bottle. This enables me to safely hold the bottle at the neck with one hand while using the other to pour water from the pot. Previously, the funnel couldn't seat itself securely, so I had to grasp the bottle by the neck with tongs.Second, the filler neck's inside is made of metal rather than plastic, andThird, a gasket is located on the bottom of the screw-in plug to provide a tight seal. The substance is really thick, and I purchased two of this obviously superior product for the price of 1.5 HW bottles at the pharmacy.Regarding the smell, we didn't mind it and we used the bottle right away after receiving it. YMMV.Update: The bottle mentioned above was bought in March of 2018. It is now March 2019, late. The water bottle started to leak after 10 months of frequent use (3-6 times per day), sometimes with water that was NOT advised to be very hot. Because of the "abuse" we've given it, I find this to be acceptable. If required, I'll purchase once more.

I don't like pungent fragrances. But in contrast to some other reviewers of this hot water bottle, even immediately out of the package and with my nose close on it, I didn't detect any rubber smell that was noteworthy.I like the color purple. Although we might never use it, the fox on the "sweater" is adorable. We merely wanted a purple hot water bottle because we both like the color purple. This one also prevents skin burning by having lovely deep "ribs" on one side. The only thing that is (somewhat) imperfect about it is that the rubber edge on the top rim of the filler end is a little sloppy and has some extra rubber that wasn't precisely trimmed off. However, it doesn't alter how it functions, and I probably wouldn't have given it any thought if DH hadn't previously worked as a model maker and is therefore particular about the polish.Overall, I'm thrilled to own a purple hot water bottle and delighted to award it five stars. :-)

My favorite. It feels wonderful against my sore joints and muscles. It takes some getting used to at first. Make sure to remove some air after adding hot or boiling water before screwing the top back on. The warmth won't distribute evenly across your skin if it is excessively puffy.Excellent size, and I adore the hot pink hue. It fits perfectly once I cover it with a sweater case. Make sure to attach the case before adding water to the bottle. It will be too hot for a while to apply on your bare skin. The water dribbled all over the place when I attempted to fill it up while wearing the sweater. Therefore, it's a little difficult to use unless you have a water heater that runs automatically and maintains the water really hot all day, like I do. After then, it simply pours out of the bottom. It's the simplest method to use.I'm very happy I got this. Although I wish it would stay warm for longer, most folks should be alright. I never have enough since I suffer from chronic discomfort. The warmth of this water bottle makes me immediately happy and at ease. You are completely missing out if you have aches and pains, stiffness and soreness, and you don't use any kind of heat!

I'm content with the purchase I made. I spent several hours looking over the available possibilities before deciding on this. My major motivation was to find a heat source so I could sleep. For context, let me say that my house is inefficiently insulated and doesn't use heat because doing so would be wasteful and prohibitively expensive given the house's drafts. I live in the New England region of the USA, where wintertime temperatures may easily drop to the teens or lower (*F). I observe lows of the high 20s F inside the house. On cooler nights, I do utilize space heaters to heat the plumbing in two locations. To rate the product: Some consumers criticized the product's rubber or chemical odor. Yes, I agree that when first opened, there is a strong rubbery smell. I scrubbed the water bottle inside and out with dish soap and the hottest water I could take to help reduce the smell. Within minutes, the problem had significantly improved. I've used different water bottles in the past, and regardless of the brand, there was always a rubbery stench. Therefore, a faint smell (only detectable when brought up to the nose) wasn't a major concern. The design or durability of the water bottle was another issue I observed. I believe it to be fairly well crafted thus far. It is similar to the thick silicone material used in cookware, but it is glossier and appears to be easier to clean because dirt wouldn't attach to it as much. Time will tell how that turns out.I have only occasionally used it overnight to assist keep me warm when I sleep up until now. It's difficult to keep track when sleeping, but I haven't experienced any leaks and it tends to stay warm for at least 4 to 5 hours. Each time I filled it, I only used the hottest water that was available from my tap. In order to produce a more accurate, up-to-date assessment, I plan to experiment and time how long it delivers warmth in the near future. I'll conduct my test using both the hottest tap water and then some slightly cooled stovetop heated water.I would currently suggest this water bottle. I have so far bought two (one for my daughter). While working outside in the freezing vortex, I also wanted to test this product inside my coat to see how thick it is and whether doing so is even worthwhile. originally published on 1-26-17Revision: 3-23-17Since the weather in the NE Atlantic region has been so unpredictable, I've had to wait to use the bottle while timing and recording the length of the hot water. We saw another arctic burst yesterday, and I utilized the bottle as heat last night as I slept. My home's temperature didn't get too low because the outdoor temperature barely fell into the teens (°F). When I began counting at 11:00 p.m., the temperature in my room was 53°F, or 12°C. I used the hottest tap water from the sink to fill 3/4 of the water bottle, and I microwaved 1/4 of it (in a cup) until it was just about boiling. The whole amount used was 60 ounces, and only 15 ounces of it nearly reached boiling point. Up until around five in the morning, when the inside temperature dropped to 49°F (9°C), it was still warmer to the touch than my body. With the screwing cap just slightly tighter than finger-tight but not quite wrist-tight, there are still no leaks (mechanics would know lol). In the beginning, I used to sleep on my back with the bottle warming my hands because I generally sleep on my side. I was on my side with a bottle close to my stomach at some point during the night, almost like there was a child there (as far as how much pressure on the bottle). You can see from this how much pressure I'm applying on the bottle. No leaks at all, as I already stated. Hope this was useful. It just hasn't been cold enough here this year since this purchase, so I plan to comment again on longevity and using this for heat while wearing it outside for work.*UPDATE* 6/19/2017With the temperatures being what they have been, it is now essentially summer. It was over 80 degrees last night, making it difficult to sleep. Although last night I was able to time how long the water bottle stayed cool, this is my third time using it to keep cool during the night. At 8:30 am, it was still chilly after I pulled it out of the freezer at 12 am. It was still cooling me down even after it had totally defrosted. As I type this, condensation is still on it. (See newest image.)What did I do with it? Before corking it, I compressed the water bottle just enough such that the air was almost completely out after filling it about two thirds or slightly over. This enables freezing-induced expansion, which should prolong the bottle's life or prevent it from breaking. In order to preserve the water line at the neck when I put it in the freezer, I also keep it flat on an angle. I do this to prevent the expanding water freezing from damaging the cork (screw cap).Condensation is the sole drawback to using the bottle for cooling while sleeping. Since my bed and sheets are just slightly wet and can be dried quickly by the heat and air in a few hours, this is not a big problem for me.What is its use? I sleep on top of it to keep it cold, keeping it close to my chest and belly. This is where I usually end up whether I'm on my side or my belly. This bottle is AMAZING! I'm even happier with this purchase and will probably buy a third so I have a bottle to switch out.

The water bottle itself is nice. Compared to what I recall from my childhood, this is a nice improvement. My doctor suggested a hot water bottle above the currently available microwaveable goods for a recent leg injury. In her opinion, a rubber bottle produces "heat" that is more reliable than microwaveable goods.I must admit, I just gave this one shot. I must have overwalked because I was attempting to control the pain from a leg injury. It did offer comfort. I experimented with hot water bottles, ice, and muscle-relaxing creams. However, the muscle-relaxing cream was insufficient. Ice is empty. There was reprieve from the heat. In order to feel better, I had to rotate in the shower and increase the heat. The water bottle also worked well. The cover is the only thing I could criticize. I didn't consider it to be well crafted. immediately unraveling strings. Additionally, the knit cover appeared to shield the bottle's heat too much. You do not want to burn yourself, of course. Also, you want to experience the heat. They warned you not to heat the water to boiling, but perhaps I didn't heat it up sufficiently. Therefore, I may have misjudged the cover since I may not have sufficiently heated the water.Overall, I believe that this was a wise investment.

I've had three various kinds of hot water bottles from Fashy and have been generally happy with them, so when I spotted this one on a BF lightning sale list, I decided to give it a try. When I first opened this bottle, the smell was the first thing I noticed. It smelled like a gas station when I first used it, and it still does now. I was prepared for some smell, but the intensity of the fragrance was as though my bottle had been used for an emergency fuel run. It was so overpowering that even when I buried my feet beneath a comforter, I could still smell it. Fortunately, it is dissipating gradually, as stated in the produce description, but if you have a strong sense of scent, this bottle is likely to let you down. The cover had an unpleasant odor before cleaning, but it is now absolutely odorless. Just so you know, the Fashy ones didn't smell at all.Given the price I paid for it, I'm really pleased with the product's quality. If I had paid the whole amount, I wouldn't have regretted it. I really like how the cover feels, and I have no trouble pouring water while it's still on. The bottle is generally alright. It has a solid feel, which is wonderful. But compared to a Fashy bottle (see my photo), this one's seams are really rough (indeed, it's more rougher than visible in the photo), and the surface feels a little bit sticky. The Fashy one feels great when touched with bare skin because of its extremely silky texture. If you intend to use it with the cover on, it won't be a problem. Its various textures on either side are appealing. I frequently fold it with the stripe side down in the hopes that it would help keep me warm. Speaking of which, I saw no differences between this one and Fashy ones in terms of heat retention, so that's another positive. In general, I suggest it, but before ordering one, pay attention to the fragrance.Positives: Sturdy feeling; good heat retention; beautiful, soft coverCons: The odor is stronger than expected.- Subpar quality- Lower than ideal texture quality
