You will now have a 2-foot cord after unwrapping the cord. The large end of the egg should be punctured, but the manual doesn't explain why. In order to see what would happen, I pierced two of the eggs at the tiny end and four of the eggs at the large end. I started the machine after loading it according to the manual. In contrast to eggs punctured on the large end, which only revealed a dimple of steamed egg white, eggs pierced at the small end flowed a little amount of egg white out of the hole and down the egg. The steamed eggs were placed in an ice water basin for three minutes after the buzzer, which was more akin to a fire alarm, sounded and the power light went off. A strange odor was coming from the heating plate, and it was discovered that the small-ended peeled eggs had leaked just enough white into the water to start burning on the now-dry plate. There wasn't much of a stench, and it wasn't really a problem, but going forward, I'll pierce eggs at the large end! A moist paper towel worked well to clean the heating plate. When I tried an egg, the white didn't have the rubbery quality of a boiled egg, and it peeled very easily. Fantastic tiny gadget!

You will always have flawless eggs if you follow the directions below.To boil soft, medium, or hard eggs:I prefer to prepare the maximum number of (6) eggs at once and store them in the fridge until needed. I find that using a mild scrape with white vinegar and a sponge after the appliance has cooled works well to remove it.The only tip I will offer for making scrambled or poached eggs is to coat the plastic pan with cooking or olive oil. If you do, the cooked eggs will simply slide off the dish. Don't forget to only fill the plastic cup halfway.Appreciate your eggs.One more follow-up.
