I have a Prince Lionheart wipes warmer, and I adore how these pads keep the baby wipes warm and wet, making them ideal for when I need to change my child's diaper. My infant seems to get agitated by cold wipes, but not as much by warm ones, especially at night. Additionally, as cold wipes also appear to irritate my baby's face more, it allows for quicker spot cleaning when retrieving errant boogers. The one thing I don't like about the product is that you have to remember to rinse and rewet it every week; otherwise, it gets dry and sticks to the warmer, causing brown stains. Even adding a little extra water won't stop brown spotting; however, it will make the wipes soggy. To avoid adding too much water, take care. Cleaning the warmer's bottom is necessary if the pad sticks to it in order to prevent accumulation. I use a rag and water, no soap, to quickly wipe the warmer's bottom (a paper towel with water works great too). I purchased the tiny plastic protective case that comes with these particular wipes to assist prevent browning. I'll write a product review for the protective case once I've used it for a few weeks.Guidelines for applying the pads: Even if you replace wipes earlier than the manufacturer's suggested weekly interval, rinse the pad each time. It makes it easier to keep the fresher wipes warm and wet without worrying about whether you meet the weekly requirement, plus it prevents aroma mixing if you switch to a different brand of wipes at change out. I personally use unscented wipes, however some folks might like to use scented or other types of wipes. I can understand how the fragrances would be a problem with this product. According to the manufacturer, the entire pad should be changed every two months. I was diligent about rinsing the pad once a week and refilling the wipes, so I didn't have any problems going three months before replacing. However, because of how dark the pad would turn at the end, I never lasted longer than three months. I'm hoping the protective case I purchased would assist with the browning problem. Simply brush the pad against itself gently under warm running water to remove or lessen the brown tint. The overall amount of browning was much reduced. I only only used water on the pad, never any soap or detergent. With these few steps, everything went smoothly. Hope this was useful.

Let me start by saying that every time I take a wipe out of this warmer, I giggle because I remember the literature that came with it, which states that it's not meant to make the wipes blazing hot, but just take the shock out of a wet wipe.This warmer for wipes is fantastic! After using room temperature wipes for 8 months, my son started to dislike changing his diaper about 3 months. We have been using cloth diapers for him because he has eczema and extremely sensitive skin, but we also used disposable wipes for the first six months of his life. I never considered purchasing a warmer because many people claimed they made no difference.I initially purchased an OXO wipe container when we made the switch to cloth wipes (not the warmer). Although I now put dry wipes in it, I still adore the bottle (to pat dry after wiping so that he had a fresh clean, dry butt). In an effort to make diaper changes easier for my active child, I eventually positioned his changing mat beneath a play gym (the kind with hanging toys). Before I brought my baby home and had to clean her, I used to think wipe warmers were absolutely superfluous things. She returned home on the evening of January 18 because I prefer maintaining the house in the 1960s. She appreciated getting out of her dirty diapers, but it was clear that she did not enjoy being wiped because I could feel how cold the Water Wipes were every time I changed her. Since I purchased this wipe warmer, I haven't experienced any problems with her becoming unhappy while being cleaned. Wipe warmers were removed from my registry because I read elsewhere that they were superfluous. The warmers came to me when the holidays rolled around because I imagined what my four-month-old might want if he could talk. For $30, I believed it was worth a try. I looked into it and this puppy seemed to be the best. I'm very happy I got it. The temperature is ideal, which I would describe as being lukewarm to slightly warmer. In just a few days, I've seen that my son can now fall asleep and stay asleep more easily during overnight changes, and the extra sleep has a significant impact on both of us. Who would not desire that? In addition, as an adult, I find the idea of a cold wipe repulsive, so I'm sure he's pleased. I like the small "macaroni and cheese" colored smile to indicate the warmer is on. The design is straightforward and attractive. I'm enjoying this buy very much. Can I survive without it? Certainly. All is well thus far. The wipes I've used so far have all been heated. Mine is set to 48. Only goes in variables of 2, thus odds are not determined. In degrees Celsius. Identical to the image in the photo. I followed the instructions to the letter. Lack of tactile button feedback is excellent; it almost feels like using a touch screen. Don't fill the box with thicker wipes like Huggies Nourish and Care. Regardless of having fewer than 80 wipes, they are overly thick. Far too thick even now. Wipes always push up instead of remaining low in the box thanks to a feature that allows for pushback. At the end of the pack and the start of the next wipes, I'll update. It's a handle on the box, not a window, as it appears in the image. emits a gentle blue light. Since the bottom of the box does not radiate heat, I keep it in the end corner of my bed. I gave four stars instead of five since I needed more time to decide.Update: They kept warm for so long that I was unaware I had reached the end. That said, this warmer is unquestionably worth the cost.

I've used a few wipe warmers throughout the years because I have a lot of kids. Sadly, I can't recall the name of the brand, but our first one was somewhat like to this one. I'll call that one "model 1." In addition, I've had two Munchkin wipe warmers, and the main objective of this study is to contrast the Prince Lionheart ("PL") with the Munchkin.CAPACITYHere, Munchkin clearly triumphs. I've gone through countless children and countless boxes of wipes. The wipes I most frequently buy are Kirtland Signature (available at your neighborhood warehouse club). Technically, a whole pack of wipes *CAN* fit in the PL, but you have to squish it down to close the lid, which makes getting the first dozen out challenging. The Munchkin can comfortably fit the same pack even after it is fully filled. (Note that "model 1" fit a complete pack as well, but it's unfair to compare the two since it didn't do the 1-at-a-time dispensing thing.)EASILY USABLEMy wife despises the Munchkin's two little "clips" on the side that you have to slide in order to open the top (I'm not referring to the lid so you can pull out wipes one at a time, but rather the entire top so you can add more wipes). I don't think it's a big thing, but she gets quite upset about it, especially when one wipe does not properly "draw up" the next one in the middle of a change. She finds it amazing how easily the lid opens for this one. The opportunity or need to (incorrectly) pull on the wire is significantly reduced because it is going into the unit itself, which is sturdy, rather than a tail, which is "floppy," so I'm hoping it doesn't come up. Furthermore, you can easily grip the correct part of the plug and unplug it with 1 hand.VERDICT: Overall, these are both excellent warmers. The Munchkin is a better option for my needs because to its capacity, but my wife prefers the PL due to the Munchkin's two locks that must be moved in order to access the top. I also favor warming from the top down. My wife doesn't seem to have an opinion, or at least she hasn't discussed it with me yet. Small babies won't really care which you choose if it's winter and you're changing their diapers, but they will be really appreciative that you're doing something to keep the wipes from getting too cold.
