Yes, bleach can be used as a weed killer. When used as directed, bleach will kill weeds and grasses. It is important to use bleach as a spot treatment only and to avoid contact with desirable plants.
You can get rid of weeds in your lawn with vinegar by spraying them with a vinegar and water solution.
There are a few ways to get rid of weeds in a gravel driveway. You can either pull them up by hand or use a weed whacker. If you have a lot of weeds, you may want to consider using a herbicide.
To stop weeds from growing back, you need to kill the root system. This can be done by physically pulling the weed, using herbicides, or burning the weed.

I'm proud of the way I keep my yard. I must thus combine various pesticides to destroy particular weed types. This surfactant and blue dye are the two items I always put to my sprayer after the herbicides (Monterey sells MarkIt). The surfactant makes it so the pesticide sticks to the weeds' leaves rather than sliding off of them. This is very beneficial when spraying plenty of poison ivy. It's quite simple to see where I've sprayed the herbicide mixture since it clings, and it's also very easy to see because the final solution is blue (MarkIt).I haven't yet encountered any situations where I wouldn't utilize this product. To make your herbicide "soapy" and adhere to the plants, not much is required. Although you could use dish soap, as you swish it (to move the chemicals around) it tends to create bubbles in the sprayer tank. This, in my experience, functions considerably better. In a pinch, dish soap will work just fine.

Barricade is most effective when applied in early spring, prior to soil temperatures reaching 55 degrees at a four-inch depth. In warm-season turf, Barricade can also be applied in the fall for the prevention of poa annua (annual bluegrass).
Please refer to product label for complete application rates and timings. The product must also receive rainfall or irrigation in order for the herbicide prevention zone to become active.

I couldn't believe this product. I've used different pre-emergents in the past, so I'm glad I wised up and decided to use a barricade this time.I have a Bermuda grass, not sod, and I live in Northern California. For many years, I've trained and cared for my lawn, fostering the Bermuda and eradicating the rest.Since crabgrass and other weeds are not new to my lawn, I chose to try a different pre emergent this year to ease the burden of lawn maintenance. I am really happy that I spread the Barricade DG in late February. Areas that were a problem last year are now flourishing with Bermuda grass that isn't engaged in a turf battle with crabgrass. I do have a few weeds here and there, but that could be my fault for not giving some places adequate coverage. For my applications in the summer and early winter, I'll buy a few additional bags.fantastic stuff This is fantastic stuff; don't hesitate.

I used this to kill grass and weeds in a section of my garden that I wanted to replace with ground cover and rocks after diluting it somewhat with water. I've previously used Round Up for this, but I wanted a safer alternative. The weeds are brown and appear to be dead when I return after a week. Although the roots are likely still alive, this is acceptable for my purposes as I am digging them out. Depending on how quickly the weeds come back, you might need to reapply this if you're using it to control them. I wish a spray bottle had been included. I simply used an old spray bottle that I had lying around.

I hold a license as a specialist in pesticide and herbicide application. I believe I am competent. I combine 7.5 gallons of RM43 with 300 gallons of water before spraying. The resulting spray solution is 3.2%. (43% of 7.5 gallons is 3.2%; inert material is excluded.) I sprayed this remedy over a 15-acre RV storage area to test it. The weeds vanished after three weeks. For eight weeks, I have not noticed any new weeds. Around the same time, I also sprayed that area with ordinary Round UP, and now new weeds are beginning to sprout up there. As far as I can tell, this product prevents the growth of new weeds when used at the recommended 3% concentration. Keep in mind that most people use concentrations of 1% or greater, which, if they succeed at all, take a long time to kill weeds. At 3%, I am able to satisfy my consumers' desire for rapid results. For each 300-gallon tank, I additionally add around 2 pounds of sulphate of ammonia (nitrogen). This gently alters the PH of the water to improve the effectiveness of the glyphosate. Wear the recommended safety gear as directed on the label. I also wear breathing gear while spraying expansive regions, like my 300 gallon sprays.

Roundup is an effective weed killer, so I purchased more when I saw it on sale here on Amazon for $5 less than at my neighborhood big box home improvement store. I enjoy how you start to get full benefits in a day or two after you see results within hours. 48 hours after spraying, the image above was taken. The manufacturer of this product got the short end of the stick from a few judges who awarded victims in cancer lawsuits HUGE payouts because the manufacturer failed to sufficiently warn consumers that this chemical can cause cancer. Let's go. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to determine that this material might be dangerous. In order to avoid spoiling it for the rest of us, the firm paid employees hundreds of millions of dollars. Even though it hasn't been shown that this causes cancer, I wouldn't be shocked if our government decided to outlaw the selling of this thing at some point. In actuality, the EPA has just determined that it does not!The bottom line is that this thing works, but take it at your own risk. But if you become sick, don't spoil it for the rest of us by suing the business! Chemical, that is! It probably isn't good for you, but it accomplishes its goal!

I FINALLY got around to using this product after purchasing it at the start of spring. Around the time I bought it, the weeds started to appear, but now my garden has turned into a jungle. I used this chemical in the hopes that it would kill something, but not even a day later, there are so many dead things! If I had known how nicely this would work, I would have taken additional "before" photographs, which I have attached. Every square inch of my garden was covered with weeds, as you can see in my photo, which shows the after effects. The small area on the sidewalk is the only example I have of the "before" state. I'm considering trying this on the overgrowth in my backyard; I'll provide more pictures later. As far as the product is concerned, it functions well, is simple to set up and use, and had no offensive chemical odor. The only drawback is that while it was $12 when I bought it, it is now, regrettably, a $5 add-on item. Even though I spent more, I'm still happy with what I got for the money, especially considering that it lives up to its promises.Since I missed a few obstinate guys hiding behind the leaves, I'm going to spray my garden again tomorrow, but that should be all.

A tree service chopped down a honey locust tree for us, and they foolishly ground the stump straight away. About 7000 locust saplings that had been sprouting up all over our yard and the neighbor's were eventually removed. It felt like a nightmare. After a protracted battle, I was able to dig up and expose as many enormous main roots as I could, slit them open, and inject Tordon RTU right into their center. I know, it's quite brutal. But it was effective. The sprouting of the saplings stopped. The tree service should have poisoned the stump first, killing the roots, and then ground the stump a few weeks later rather than immediately grinding it. So bear that in mind if you're trying to exterminate honey locust.

When dispersing these, be cautious to wear a face mask, respirator, or handkerchief. My face burns when I spread them, therefore I personally can't do it; my husband also needs to wear anything when distributing them. They must thus be successful, although I wish we could discover something less severe. However, we had to make a compromise and utilize this to keep grubs, ticks, and snakes out of our farm yard. When utilizing this method, armadillo issues typically go away, indicating that the grubs are being addressed and there are no tick infections.

I combine at a 6 ounces per gallon ratio. Although costly, it performs admirably. I haven't discovered any weed and grass killer that lasts as long as it does. With less expensive brands, I discover that two weeks after the application, I walk outside and spray new sprouts, making it feel like I'm always spraying the yard. The inexpensive medication appears to kill rapidly and have noticeable benefits in around 3 hours. It takes between two and four days for this pricey roundup to start showing any signs of effectiveness. After one week, it starts to look pretty awful, and after two weeks, it's brown and dead. To avoid having to mow or trim close to the trees, I put this on my gravel driveway and all around them. This will kill the portion of the bush that it hits if any of it falls on it. Since my property is more than three acres, I am unable to rinse the plant after an unintentional spray. In contrast to the other sprays, which I find I need to apply every two to five weeks, depending on the weather and rainfall, this one seems to last two to three months. Although pricey, it saves me a lot of time, therefore it is definitely worthwhile. On my three-acre yard, which has several hundred trees and plants, this has saved me a ton of time. I keep purchasing this item.
You can put weed killer on your lawn as often as you need to in order to keep it free of weeds. However, you should be careful not to overdo it, as this can damage your grass.
Yes, Roundup (glyphosate) is harmful to humans. Glyphosate is a broad-spectrum herbicide that is used to kill weeds, and it is the main ingredient in Roundup. Glyphosate works by inhibiting an enzyme that is essential for plant growth. This enzyme is not found in animals, so glyphosate is relatively safe for animals. However, glyphosate is harmful to humans because it can damage our gut bacteria.
Yes, vinegar is an effective weed killer. The acetic acid in vinegar is a strong herbicide that will kill most types of plants.
There is a lot of debate surrounding the use of vinegar as an alternative to Roundup. Some people swear by its effectiveness, while others claim it is not as good as Roundup. The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. Vinegar is certainly a cheaper and more natural option than Roundup, but it may not be as effective in killing weeds.
The best method of killing weeds in a lawn is to use a combination of techniques, including physical removal, herbicides, and preventative measures. For small areas, hand-pulling or using a hoe can be effective. Larger areas may require the use of herbicides, either as a spot treatment or a broadcast application. Preventative measures, such as mowing regularly and watering deeply, can also help to reduce the number of weeds in a lawn.
The best way to get rid of weeds in your lawn is to pull them up by hand. You can also use a hoe or trowel to dig them up. If the weeds are small, you can also try to mow them down.
