The answer to this question is not a simple one. It depends on a number of factors, including the size of the room, the type of music you listen to, and your personal preferences. That said, generally speaking, bigger speaker boxes do tend to produce better sound quality. They have more space for the drivers (the part of the speaker that produces the sound) to move, which results in better sound reproduction. They also tend to have more powerful amplifiers, which can result in louder, clearer sound. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule. If
Yes, a speaker enclosure can be too big. If the enclosure is too large, the speaker will not be able to produce enough sound pressure to fill the space, and the sound will be muffled.
Yes, you can play with just a cabinet. A cabinet is a piece of furniture with shelves, drawers, or cupboards that is used for storing or displaying items. Cabinets are often used in kitchens and bathrooms, but they can also be used in living rooms, bedrooms, offices, and other areas of the home.
No, you cannot run a bass head without a cab. The head provides the amplification for the bass signal, but the cab is necessary to speaker-level the signal so that it can be heard.

I've been very impressed with these thus far. I've just started singing and playing acoustic guitar solo shows. I did a ton of research since I wanted my own PA system without going broke, and after reading a ton of reviews about Rockville gear, I decided to give it a shot. Additionally, I bought the Rockville RPM109 powered mixer, which included two Rockville dynamic cardioid microphones. The speakers function admirably in that configuration. I have connected my acoustic guitar directly via a 1/4" cable input, a Rockville microphone via an XLR connection, and a Numark DJ controller via RCA.The speakers project a tremendously BIG sound and have a very clear audio quality. They responded well to the amount of pressure I applied to them. The mids and highs also cut through well, and they can tolerate a lot of low end from the mixer. The material used to make the speakers appears to be strong. The location of the handles is good (one on each side and one on top). Although one of the speakers' metal mesh guards had a little ding when it came from shipping, the performance was unaffected. The speaker stands appear to be quite well made. When used in conjunction with speakers, they are very strong. Another wonderful addition is the stand-specific carrying case. The case has a center divider with Velcro closures on either side of it to secure the stands. There is enough place within the casing to store several speaker cords as well.Although I haven't utilized them at a show yet, I'm happy with them thus far. I believe Rockville is a wonderful, affordable alternative for someone in my circumstance wanting to develop a decent setup to start performing!

I adore these speakers so much! I primarily play piano, EP, clav, and organ sounds on the keyboard. Keyboard amplifiers have never made me happy. However, since I only perform as a side gig and not on a full-time basis as a professional, I also didn't want to spend too much on amplification. These are the ideal price.First off, artists ought to give their amplification a lot more consideration than they do. Your audience will essentially only hear what the speakers deliver, regardless of how wonderful any instrument, microphone, or processing may be. They are therefore quite significant. These sound really great! Although I'm not performing anything that calls for a lot of bass, they have a pretty respectable bass response. Simply add a powered bass amplifier and select a crossover point on these speakers to add more bass. Then, they look fantastic. These look very professional thanks to the front's excellent flat grille and straightforward EV logo. They also have excellent electronics, including a 1000W amplifier (recognize that this is 1000W max, and has about 500W RMS power). The 35 lb weight is another advantage. This makes it simple to bring two into a performance on your own and to set them up on a tripod without assistance. Finally, considering everything you get, $350 per person is a terrific deal. You can purchase it to start the game, then spend more to advance. One drawback is that they use a hard plastic casing in order to reduce the weight so much. Because of its weakness, any dents or scratches will be visible. The grille can also be bent rather easily. To help protect them, I bought some homemade coverings, but you should handle them carefully when moving them to preserve their good looks. Turn them up when you get to the show!

I still can't believe I bought these speakers for under $80. They have a great sound. I'm an expert in equipment, so pay attention to what I'm about to say. These speakers can never match a $400 speaker in sound quality. So make sure they are receiving at least 300 watts of amp power. Run them at no lower a frequency than 50Hz. Add a crossover and a sub to get boom. We have Peavey Behringer JBL and Yorkville speakers in the r

The most crucial detail should be put out there right away: this item costs $300. I've seen some criticism of this mixer/recorder in various places online, but almost all of it is false or wholly unaware of how valuable this device is given its feature set.Show me another four track, four pot (control knob) phantom powered recorder available for less money. Sure, you can find some higher-end mixers and recorders used, but the 70d was made for DSLR and single-shooter users. So let's get started.Let's begin with a little highlight analysis:-$300 is a steal for a four-track recorder; -screen and controls are the right size, not too wide or tall;-4 XLR/TRS inputs, line/camera out, camera in, and all XLRs have Phantom power-Adequate input and output gain settingsrestrictions and lowcut-SD card in the back (I don't think they could have fit it anywhere else, anyway)-The battery/SD door can be a pain; I may just remove it.-Wish all the 1/8" ports were 1/4", however size restrictions apply again, so it's hard to identify faults.-Zooms are incredible, yet battery life is adequate. There should have been a compressor. It would have been fantastic if it could cook bacon pancakes. -An MP3 option would have been excellent.Overall, you can't really complain about anything for $300.Planning

They were bought to use as monitor speakers for my PA system, and they are perfect. Excellent full-body sound from the system's running instruments and voices. I would buy once more without hesitation. It's important to understand the system you're utilizing, the wattage, the ohms, and the effects of daisy-chaining. You may save money and get the sound you want by doing some research because not all speakers are compatible with all systems.
No, you cannot. A solid state amplifier needs a load to function properly, and a speaker cabinet provides that load. Without a speaker cabinet, the amplifier will not work correctly and could be damaged.
You can use a cabinet without an amp, but you'll need to use a speaker simulator to get the sound you want. A speaker simulator is a device that takes the place of an amplifier and speaker. It allows you to get the sound of an amplifier and speaker without actually having either one.
A guitar cabinet can be used as a speaker if the right components are used. The main component you need is a speaker that is designed to work with a guitar amplifier. You also need an amplifier that can drive the speaker.
There are many professional guitarists who use solid state amps. Some guitarists who use solid state amps are Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and Steve Morse. These guitarists use solid state amps because they are able to get a clean sound out of them.
All amplifiers need a load, whether solid state or vacuum tube. The load provides a path for the amplified signal to follow so it can be heard through speakers or headphones. Without a load, the signal would have nowhere to go and would be lost.
Speaker cabinets make a difference in how a speaker sounds. They can affect the volume, the bass response, and the overall sound quality. speaker cabinets also affect how the speaker looks. Some people prefer the look of a open-back speaker cabinet, while others prefer the look of a closed-back speaker cabinet.
