nice-looking slide Easy to mount. Fun for the youngsters for hours. The only drawback is that the slide got scratched before shipping because it was packaged in a thin plastic bag. Nothing the edges of some fine grid sand paper couldn't be softened to.

It is nicely built and should last for many years. The only downside is that the shipping wrapping is poor, and ours has some rather significant shipping scuffs.

It appears to be a strong and well-made slide. But there were no provided fasteners to join the two pieces together! Be aware that despite the fact that they said to be included, they were not in the package. Fortunately, we had some leftover from another job. Additionally, the screws needed to mount it to the deck are not provided, despite the statement to the contrary. It was rather simple to put together, however some of the holes required some persuasion to line up. Slide arrived in fine shape and appears to be extremely great. I wish it had the parts, though!

Since the directions are written in a way that I knew I couldn't follow them, I put everything together myself without doing so. Using a ladder, vice grips, and a tent stake to line up the holes, I secured the Entry part to the Playhouse before joining each subsequent section. The advantage of a tent stake is that it has a hook on one end and a straight screwdriver-like end that can be used to pull, twist, and move plastic to match the holes. Regardless matter how you do it, it takes a lot of labor, but the end result is fantastic. Even though all the holes are not lined properly, you can't really expect much more from a collection of plastic-molded parts. I really did need a full day to put everything together and install it. Although the instructions are quite straightforward, you must read them attentively. Once everything is done, it is quite stable. It's rather simple (albeit time consuming) to proceed from that point on if you establish the proper space to attach the entry part (width, length, and height). I disagree that you should line up each hole in a clockwise direction. Work on the holes that don't line up after finding and hand tightening the ones that do. That, at least, worked for me. I'm ultimately really pleased with the slide. But I don't want to put one together again any time soon. Certainly not by themselves, though it is possible.

I thought my toddler and family would love this slide, so I bought it in yellow (thinking it will stay cooler). It was now $86 after tax due to a price reduction. For his age range, this cost was comparable to stand-alone slides (but they are a little steep for him.) Since he is under two, I thought it would be fun to attach it to our deck, which has a gentler slope. Our deck stairs WILL receive a safety hand rail. As a child, I used to fantasize of having a slide in instead of stairs. The slide did not include any hardware, only instructions. The weight capacity was substantially less than the 250 LBS promised online, according to the insert. When I called the business, they promised to send me the "new schematics," which had the 250 LB capacity, through email. I was concerned I might have gotten a copy or a less expensive edition. I'm unsure whether I didn't. In order to anchor the ground beneath the slide as instructed for stability, my husband fastened wood to the bottom of the slide and constructed two stakes to attach to that. He dug far enough to also bury a portion of the landing (as directed). His bigger pals will undoubtedly try to climb the slide, so we placed the same brand safety handles Safety Handles in the front and back. These were of excellent quality and cost approximately $11 for a pair. The slide is awfully thin. I am junior size 5, 5 feet 1 inches tall, and weigh 125 pounds. The slide bowed quite a little ( and my hips were a struggle to fit). Small children are intended for the slide. My 220 pound spouse tried to slide. The statements seem quite misleading to me because it is not very stable but it held, thus it "will hold." Yes, it can support the weight, however I, at five feet tall, cannot fit on the slide. I had hoped that because of its higher weight capacity (250 LBs), it would actually work as a slide so that we could occasionally slide with our toddler or our 13-year-old could use it and play with him. To comfortably support the 13-year-85-lb old's weight, we will need to add supports (which we will do). Is this because the incline isn't as great now? Possibly? Even though I'm not an engineer, the slide fell short of my expectations.Even still, I only advise it if you are aware of what you are getting. If it's for anyone other than a young child, you need the ability to reinforce it; it's not a family slide. In comparison to other toddler slides, it is excellent value for the money (at the $86 I paid for it), but I would have spent more for a slide that was more sturdy and allowed me to fit on it width-wise. Instead, I now have a different, unsuitable DIY project for a slide ( but great for "littles").

It's challenging to line up all the bolts, but if you start at one end and move toward the other, then hammer the final bolt into place, it works. The instructions advise using two wooden stakes to rest the slide's bottom on, but the slide isn't designed to do that. It does not flex. I've tested it multiple times at 240 pounds.

lovely tube slide simple to assemble We purchased two slides, which we combined to make a 10-foot slide. Starting at a height of ten feet, we mounted it to the ground of our kids' fort. Considering that it was two slides combined, it required some work. I would suggest anyone purchasing this slide have a cordless impact gun mounted with a socket, as I did, since I could see that tightening all of these bolts with a hand ratchet would take an inordinate amount of time and be irritating if progress was not made quickly. If you read the instructions properly, they were simple to follow.Thanks.Adrian,Revisions for Goodrich. Please view photos. Look at the child's description and picture first. Labeling makes it simpler. The top, where it mounts, is number 1. Number 2 represents the child's upper body. That would be the child's red shirt's collar in the image. The third part of the body would be the lower torso, where his pants are worn. If you purchase two, you will receive doubles of items 1, 2, and 3. Look at my photos and you'll see two 2s combined with a 3 at the bottom. In order to have ten feet, you must have it this way. For my children, the platform in my photo is a ten-foot fort. From the floor to the ground, it is ten feet. Both the number 1 and the number 3 will be extra. The structure is unaffected or uncompromise by the hole where the two number 2s connect together. I think the way it appears is okay. If you don't want that hole, you should consider getting a 5' and a 7' instead. Given that I believe the 6-foot slide only has an extended number 1, Furthermore, number 1 is expanded on the 7 feet, but it would also have a second turned piece. (Turning portion of the slide's center.) Additionally, using that turning component would avoid the need to combine two 2s. Hope this was useful. I wish you luck. Adrian,

Nicely done. Although it appears large in the picture, I definitely neglected to consider its height, and as a result, I had to modify the tree house for it to fit on because it is somewhat smaller than I had first anticipated.

looks robust. My playset's deck is about an inch taller than the recommended maximum height of 60 inches. I am therefore most likely at the ideal angle for you. results in a fairly quick sliding. The grandchildren all praised it. Older children immediately accepted it. It took a few tries with the 3–4 year olds to get used to the speed. But after a day, everyone was standing up. It has been up for barely a month at this point and has already received a lot of use.

My kid absolutely adores this; he is blind and autistic, so it is perfect for him. I almost did not get it because of all the negative reviews, but I'm glad I did. I didn't order the extension piece, as I had planned to, and I'm now regretting it. It's strong, didn't require any assembly, and the instructions were accurate, despite numerous reviews that claimed otherwise. However, my son and I both adore it, so we absolutely need the extension at this point!
