Narrow end profile improves air speed for removing heavier debris such as wet leaves
High quality materials for long life
Easy one-click installation to Current Extension
For use with Makita X2 36V hand held Blower, model XBU02Z
$234
It is simple to add this accessory to the Makita 36-volt blower. Twist and pull to remove the pre-existing "tip" at the blower tube's end. Reverse the installation process for the new flat nozzle. The benefit is that the air flow to the ground is more concentrated, allowing you to complete the same task while running the blower at a little slower speed. The run-time will rise as a result of your batteries lasting a little bit longer. In order to remove grass from the driveway, for instance, I had to run the blower at speed "6" without the flat nozzle, but with it, I can run at speed "5" and I believe it accomplishes the same task. If you have many charged backup batteries on hand or do not frequently run out of battery life before finishing a task, this attachment might not be required. best wishes

2 inch NPT intake with 1.5 inch standard hose adapter discharge
Features a 3 horsepower, 120 volt motor and includes a versatile hose adapter
Used to install vinyl liners and winterize your pool
6 foot Cord Length and 4 inch vacuum inlet

This is what I just used to blow out all the pool lines. It worked flawlessly. I was able to guide air into each of the pipes that needed to be blown out by running a hose from the blower into the skimmer and then using the valves on the pool equipment.Powerful enough to blow out pool piping, this unit. I am aware that some blowers struggle to blow out several returns at once. You must wait for one to blow out before plugging it and starting the next one. This blower simultaneously and evenly forced water out of six return outlets.Making sure you have the components you need to connect this device to your system is the most difficult step. It includes a blower adapter that attaches into the blower and connects to a typical 1.5 "swim hose. It does not include a hose or any other accessories for connecting the hose on the other end to your pool's accessories. I purchased: with this blower:a six-foot pool hose- 1.5 "Same size as the blower's included screw adapter, however I'm using this on the other end of the pool hose to screw into the skimmer. Typically, skimmer holes are 1.5" or 2", and this one fits the smallest of the two.- 2 "a pool hose screw adaptor that fits the larger skimmer holes (I have both size, lucky me)I wouldn't purchase the hose if I were to repeat the process. I could have utilized the hose I have (my standard vacuum hose). I purchased the extra hose and clamps so that I could more firmly and permanently fasten the hose to the adaptor. It appears that clamping is not necessary. Even without any clamps, the hose remains very securely attached to the friction fittings on the adapters while blowing out the lines.I was able to blow out the lines by myself without any assistance once the hose was friction-fit onto the adapters and the adapters were screwed into the skimmers. No one was required to hold the hose for me. When I turned on the blower, it remained exactly where I had placed it.I also attempted to blow out a hose pipe using this blower. It is not the best equipment for the task. When used with large diameter pool lines, this blower performs admirably, however when used with 1/2 "size of the hose lines. When I turned the unit off, the water backed up from the line into the blower because it was unable to push the water through. In order to avoid damaging the blower, I had to completely dry it out before using it. For hose lines, I discovered that an air compressor works considerably better.

Although I am writing to provide a potential solution, my star rating may be premature. The issue existed with both my original bag and the initial replacement bag. The persistent high speed onslaught of leaf and twig mulch being thrown at them caused them to develop a hole near to the area of the leaf vacuum where the leaves are released into the bag. My advice to consumers is to turn the bag inside out when it is brand new and add a sturdy denim iron-on patch to that spot (the kind of patch mom used to fix the knees of my pants when I was a kid). Despite the fact that I have only recently completed this and used the expeller a few times, I can already tell the leaves are indeed reaching the patch. I believe it will considerably extend the life of the bag. Where to patch: The patch should be placed two or three inches from the aperture of the leaf expeller on the inside of the bag, facing away from your body and evenly spaced.

I tried combining two sets to clean my second-story gutters as suggested by another reviewer, and it mostly worked... Once the blower is working, the extra-long tube is fairly awkward and needs considerable upper-body power to direct (see photo). The best method is to either assemble the tubes vertically until you can hang it off the gutter of the second story before attaching the blower, or to assemble it on the ground and turn on the blower before attempting to lift it, with the airflow helping to stiffen the tube and giving your lift a jet boost with the nozzle pointing downward. It takes some practice to adjust for the force of the air exiting the nozzle once it's going and maintain it in the desired position. You may either tape the nozzle in place or learn to use this as a feature rather than a bug so that you can easily change the direction of the air flow. The nozzle will rotate if you hit it on the gutter or the gutter braces. It is powerful enough to remove knots from the leaf support twigs of ash and honey locust trees as well as moist, compacted leaves, however this may take several passes. All in all, it was far safer than climbing a ladder, much quicker and drier than my old water-based procedure, and much less expensive than hiring a service. First-story gutters are a breeze to clean with this system, as others have noted, and I would suggest this item to anyone with a compatible blower and the skill to utilize it. When properly screwed together, the tubes will stay in place throughout operation and are generally simple to join and separate. This is especially true when compared to some of the generic solutions available.Regarding the issue of the flexible tube not being able to be unscrewed from the first stiff tube, I discovered that putting WD-40 or another lubricant on the end of the first rigid tube will make it much simpler to remove after use without impacting performance while in use. This attachment makes the never-fun but frequently essential task of cleaning gutters much simpler, quicker, drier, and safer. I heartily suggest it.

This product does function with a HUSQVARNA 150BT after being tweaked. The flange at the elbow piece connecting the piping to the blower must be taken off. I removed it with the use of a little hacksaw. Dremel would have been slower but more accurate. If you do, the elbow piece will have a hole in it. Apply some duct tape to the hole to close it. The elbow piece can now be installed by removing the "tube," the black plastic tubing that you use to maneuver the leaf blower, and inserting the elbow piece that has been updated.Pros:- It's effective. I put it to the test on several of my gutters. I can clear the gutters with the Husqvarna in approximately half the time it takes me with a ShopVac, which has essentially the same type of plumbing system. It is simple to put together. Less than five minutes were needed to modify the elbow component. I'm also not particularly "handy." I just chopped the flange off using a hacksaw and taped the hole. Only because you had to loosen that clamp/hand throttle bolt and that bolt on my blower is a nightmare to deal with, assembly onto the blower itself took an additional five minutes.Cons:- After using this product for a while, you'll quickly learn not to run the blower at full blast. It's basically 10 foot tall, plastic air blowing cobra. Set your throttled at roughly 25% power. That should be adequate.- The plastic they utilized in creating the product is flimsy. This is apparently an OEM product from Husqvarna. I find that hard to believe. The plastic is soft and was deformed when I pulled it out of the packaging. But because it was so flimsy, you may easily mold it back with your hands into the appropriate shape. It everything hooked up properly.- Because the plastic is fragile, and you're blowing a lot of air through it, it's a bit uncomfortable to use. It may take you a couple of minutes to get the hang of it, but once you do, I think you will like it. Beats getting up on a ladder or using the ShopVac comparable.- And because the forces this product places on the remainder of the piping of the blower, inspect and tighten all of your connections all the way up to the blower. The elbow piece that joins the plastic tubing to the blower itself popped off while I was using it. To be honest, it was the first time I had examined that connection since getting the blower years ago.Overall:- Not what you'd expect from Husqvarna. I would have expected higher quality.- Requires a minor change to run on a 150BT, but if I can do it, any of you can.- It's a handful when running it at speed.- It does work well. It will blow your gutters out neatly.- It's decently priced. This keeps me off the ladder and roof. If I break this product using it, it's still cheaper than breaking my body if I fall off the ladder or roof.

I applied this to garbage cans and leaves bags. It works perfectly for both. The netting is operated by a drawstring and requires a sturdy object to be wrapped around it. To hold my leaf bags open, I utilized the Leaf Mate (see image). The drawstring made a good seal and maintained its position effectively. Due to this, a project that used to take all day was reduced to a few hours. I heartily advise purchasing this. To help in placing the leaves directly into a leaf bag, I also advise purchasing the Leaf Mate Pro Series.

The original bag that came with my Toro leaf blower/mulcher has been replaced by this one. The greatest thing they did with this version was to alter the placement of the zipper that opens the bag after it is full, even though it is virtually the same bag (size and weight) as the original. When the first bag was full, I had to open the zipper, put the whole thing inside the Home Depot leaf and yard waste disposal bag, and then close the zipper. To get the shredded leaves inside the Home Depot bag, the "bag within the bag" had to be moved about a lot because the zipper was on the side. Now, the zipper is situated at the bottom (where it should have been all along). When it is full, I lay it on its side, unzip it, slide it inside the waste bag (it fits perfectly), then I rezip the Toro bag, remove it from the vacuum, and I'm back in business. It's a straightforward change, but in my opinion, it makes a huge difference.

My Craftsman leaf blower/plastic vacuum's collar and the bag fit together perfectly. The bag fit almost as tightly as the original, therefore I decided without using the collar zip tie. Even if the bag's function is unaffected, it will slightly slide up the collar if you load it completely. Compared to the original, the bag is slightly smaller.I've just used it for around three hours on one day so far. I was expecting to encounter the zipper closing breaking after the first use after reading previous reviews, however I did not. But I also didn't treat the zipper as harshly as I would have with the original problem as a result of those critiques.Although I've only used the bag for approximately three hours on one day so far, I'm happy with it so far.

My brother gave me a Worx Trivac 900 because he couldn't find the bag for it. Yesterday, I finally had the chance to test out the bag I had ordered. The Trivac did an excellent job, which astounded me! I used a different blower I had to force the leaves into a long line, and then I used the Trivac to suck up and shred them. The yard is just about a third of an acre. I didn't have high expectations for this As Seen On TV gadget, yet it performed amazingly. The Trivac bag could be a little bit bigger, but that is the only criticism. I have to drain it around every three to five minutes. Its fully adjustable strap was the ideal length for my 6'2" stature. After using the Trivac for the first time, I can't express enough how useful it is, as well as this simple Trivac vacuum bag! I could suggest something different if you have a larger yard. It's ideal for the three trees in our yard and the neighbor's leaves that have been blown in.
