Since I got the new hearing aids, using pipe cleaners to clean the vents has become a difficulty. The pipe cleaners didn't fit since the vent tubes were too narrow compared to my former aids. These brushes have long flexible threaders at each end and a tiny brush in the middle that is similar to a pipe cleaner but has a much smaller diameter and no metal core.It is obvious to me that the traditional idea of utilizing pipe cleaners was not wise because they are so hard and inflexible with the twisted metal wire core. They fit well and thread smoothly. The instruments are not harmed by these cleaning brushes. I wish I had discovered them sooner! One mistake I made was attempting to open the box by the end, which is the conventional method. THEN I read the directions and discovered that if you remove the center seal, they dispense from the clear plastic middle (kind of like a pocket pack of Kleenex in a way). My bad. It's much simpler to get them out the middle as intended if you read the instructions first, which I didn't do.By keeping the vents clear of wax, these brushes will increase the lifespan of the devices. It really does matter!

When I have to remove my ReSound hearing aids, I bought this product to keep them safe. I won't have to lug around the pricey charger/storage case that came with the hearing aids thanks to this case. The company that makes hearing aids produces it. The case is quite good. I hope to use this for many years. It met expectations and was delivered on time.

My Gen 2 Airpods, which were only 4 months old, were cleaned with these. I brought my left one into the Apple store since I had lost 75% of the sound, assuming it was a hardware issue. (I periodically wipe them with alcohol and a q-tip.) Apple "Genius" said that the sound mesh was clogged with "gunk," despite their attempts to clear it in the store. offered to charge me $65 to get me a replacement. I felt the desire to attempt this once more. Purchased these brushes and research online about "sucking" the debris out of your mouth after cleansing. (Also didn't work.) The following is what did work: (1) Waiting a short while between applications, apply alcohol on the brush side and rub into the Airpod sound mesh (upside down) three to four times. (2) put the offending Airpod at the narrow attachment tip of a vacuum cleaner (so it wouldn't get sucked in! ), (3) turned on the vacuum cleaner, (4) blocked off part of that narrow attachment so the vacuum would be maximal on the Airpod mesh side, and (5) did this for a few seconds, 3–4 times, rotating the Airpod back and forth and up and down so that vacuum was not constant. When I put it in my ear, the sound was great and even louder than the right! The right Airpod had the same procedure because it worked so well, and they are now in like-new condition. I wish it would work for you.

Okay, normally I don't take the time to read reviews before deciding to award a product 5 stars until it meets or surpasses my expectations. It was this Jodi-Vac. I constantly attempt to maintain my excellent custom in-ear monitors (64 Audio A6s) clean using the small cleaning tool that is provided with the CIEMs. But after a year or two, all high-mids and treble were visibly muffled, and the level of my left ear monitor suddenly dropped. I was certain that the culprit had to be a tiny particle of wax here or there. The flimsy cleaning tool that comes with the CIEMs, bless its little heart, just doesn't cut it, and its wire loop is only about half as long as it should be to be effectively useful. These Jodi-Vacs are also available from 64 Audio, a very great company, however Amazon had a better deal and free shipping. A few days sooner than anticipated, I also got my Jodi-Vac, and as soon as it did, I started working on my in-ears. Easy to use, and yes, there is enough vacuum. I wore the CIEMs again after 15 minutes and listened to the same test track to compare the results before and after. All of my left in-ear monitor, and perhaps some of my right as well, seemed to have been restored, and my in-ears had perfect balance and real stereo. They only required a thorough cleaning. Yes! It goes without saying that I am a very happy client and satisfied with this product.

Let me start by saying I adore this product. Since several years ago, I've bought this item from Amazon. When I run out during a CRS attack, I go to the next hearing aid store and get more. However, I must laud this business for its superb customer support! My bottle's pump spray stopped functioning. I've experienced this with other items that employ tiny ball bearing/spring pumps. On all pumps, the little ball bearing tends to become trapped.I explained what happened and that I even tried to get the pump operating by soaking it in alcohol in an email to the company, which is based in St. Louis. I requested a different pump. only the pumpI received a response stating that they would be sending me another bottle of the product within 15 minutes! Well, I replied that I only needed the pump because the bottle was almost full. They complimented the new bottle and expressed gratitude for my ongoing patronage. That is definitely the right approach to treat your customers! The way Oaktree Products (which manufactures Audiologists Choice) treats its consumers is an example that other businesses should follow.

Works just as promised. The size, noise, and lights were my main worries.Easy to fit on a compact nightstand close to the bed. The device is around 2-3 inches high and has a foot print that is about the size of your palm. It seems strange to me that the Amazon advertisement only features a photo of the unit's physical size in the packaging box. There is some noise in there for the first 10 minutes or so as a small fan spins. Since the HAs are in the box, it's not too awful for me; fortunately, my wife finds the sounds to be fairly calming. So strange...Lights: It contains two bright blue LED bars down the front side, underneath the button. If you don't want them in your face at night, turn the device away from you. The UV light inside the box illuminates the entire box for the first five minutes or so in a pleasant white light. The top third of the box glows due to that light. At the very least, it works well as a nightlight when getting ready for bed.Unexpected: The lid has a magnet to keep it closed and is very flat. There is a slight "clap" sound when the lid is closed. Not a problem at 4 p.m. during the day, but at 11 p.m. and with a wife asleep, it might be.Functionality: The drying has two levels or "durations": close the lid, press the button once, and it will start to dry in around 30 minutes; press the button again to start drying in an hour; press the button again to stop drying. The internal UV light only shines for the first few seconds of the time period while the Blue LED(s) remain lit throughout. They begin to feel a little warm, but not at all hot. To maximize drying, I leave the batteries in the HAs with the door open. I find it difficult to believe the batteries will experience any problems as the heat inside is probably just 10 degrees warmer than body temperature. Battery life hasn't changed in any way that I've noticed. I can't say that the HAs solved any moisture-related issues for me because I never experienced any; rather, I use them because they make sense. With electronics of any kind, dryer is preferable. It's as simple as using a phone charger to use power.

AMAZING ITEM: My husband wears hearing aids, and I assist him in maintaining them. Why didn't somebody create little pipe-cleaners for this use? I've been whining for years. I'll let THEM know about this item because not even our hearing aid facility has ever informed us about it. These were simple to use and quite effective at getting rid of any traces of earwax from the tubes. Definitely never be without them!

If you have a hearing aid that uses wax guards, you will need to clean the wax out of your hearing aid on a regular basis. The best way to clean the wax out of your hearing aid is to use a soft, dry cloth. Gently wipe the cloth over the wax guard to remove the wax. You can also use a soft bristled toothbrush to remove the wax. Be sure to brush gently so you do not damage the wax guard.
There are a few things you can do to clean a rubber dome hearing aid. First, you can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away any debris or dirt. You can also use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove any buildup. If you need to, you can also use a mild soap and water solution to clean the hearing aid. Be sure to rinse it well and dry it completely before putting it back in your ear.
Hearing aids should be cleaned every day. Wipe the device with a dry cloth after each use. In addition, clean the earmold and tubing weekly with soap and water.
Hearing aid tubes should be changed every three to six months. This is because they can become blocked with wax or debris, which can cause a loss of sound quality.
It's important to keep your hearing aid clean and free of earwax. Depending on how much earwax you produce, you may need to change your hearing aid domes every few days to every week.
A hearing aid mould should be washed at least once a week.
