No, T50 and 140 staples are not the same. T50 staples are much smaller than 140 staples and are not compatible with 140 staplers. T50 staples are typically used for smaller projects, such as attaching paper to a bulletin board, while 140 staples are better suited for heavier duty projects, such as fastening multiple sheets of paper together.
Can a regular stapler staple wood? The answer is yes, but there are a few things you need to know before you try it. Regular staplers are designed to staple paper, so they might not work as well on wood. You'll also need to use a heavier-duty stapler if you're stapling into hardwood.
Staple guns are usually designed to work on wood, but there are some that are made specifically for other materials like metal or plastic. There are also some that are designed to work on multiple surfaces. If you're not sure which staple gun to get, it's always best to consult the manufacturer or a professional to find out which one would be best for your project.
If you're not sure which size staples to buy, a good rule of thumb is to match the size of the staple to the thickness of the material you're stapling. For example, if you're stapling together a stack of paper, you'll want to use small staples. But if you're stapling together a thicker material, like a piece of cardboard, you'll want to use larger staples.

Such a great stapler. Any cubicle worker needs one because it is sturdy, weighty, and comfortable in the hand. The iconic red color is also a must have. I frequently receive compliments on it, which are generally followed by a quick but amusing Office Space quotation exchange. It's a great-looking, functional red stapler. 5-stars.Be aware that this stapler employs unique staples. Swingline Staples, Premium, S.F. 4, 0.25 Inch Length, 210 Per Strip, 5,000 Per Box are what you must use (S7035450). Anything different would probably jam the stapler, and you'll have to carefully use a staple remover to poke your new red beauty with it. Nobody wants to spend 20 minutes doing that and berating every Swingline employee for not making all staplers the same universal size.

We were dissatisfied that we couldn't locate a Standard Stapler that will consistently staple a few sheets of paper together. Many staplers, in our experience, were unreliable and would jam at the most unanticipated and unfortunate times! We tried a lot before deciding to try this Stanley Bostich Model after reading numerous reviews! Since we've had it for approximately 6 months and have used it practically daily, my wife and I both agree that this stapler is far superior than all others we've ever used, both at home and at work. Together with the Stanley Bostich Standard Stapler we also bought to go with it, this stapler has jammed just once in over 6 months and was quickly and simply un-jammed. It is a fantastic stapler and is highly suggested... very reliable! ...."5 Stars"!

The stapler is fantastic. It effectively completes its task. Look no farther if you need a cheap stapler to hold your documents together! Not one of those high-tech, low-effort staplers is this one. They are twice as expensive. This stapler is a standard, reliable model that you can slam into your desk. No, it doesn't feel as solid and heavy, but it also doesn't weigh as much as a swingline. The plastic construction is generally good and smooth. The anti-microbial top they promote is the best aspect. Does it operate? I'm not sure. I simply consider it a benefit that increases my comfort level when someone else uses my stapler without my consent. The bottom chamber of this stapler is its best feature. I can keep my staples at a location that nobody else knows about. It also makes them available in case you run out (just in case you transport your stapler anywhere).Since I travel frequently, I frequently need to bring my stapler, so having that extra compartment has come in handy. This is the best value for your money if you're searching for a cheap and practical stapler that just gets the job done. It is plastic, yes, but so far (after having it for a while) it hasn't caused me any problems.

It was finally time for me to replace the stapler I've been using for years. I frequently staple together 10 pages with this stapler, and it absolutely holds up to that test! I would describe myself as a heavy stapler because I use them frequently throughout the day. This stapler is durable enough for that application. And honestly, you can be sure it will be excellent if it is a Swingline! The product description, I believe, advises against using any other brand of staples; nonetheless, I frequently use this stapler with non-Swingline brand staples (whatever is cheapest on Amazon when I order them for work) and haven't experienced any issues. Occasionally, if you're close to the end of the strip of staples, it can be finicky, but I've experienced that issue with other staplers as well.

To acquire a 3 pack and a discount, I tested a no-name brand. I went back right away since staple quality was erratic.Instead, I paid a little bit more for a two-pack of swingline, and it was well worth it because staple quality is consistently excellent.

The one drawback is that I pulled it out of the package, threw the package away, and didn't go to feed staples into it until a few days later - and the staple-loading mechanism is NOT obvious! Nevertheless, it is quite simple to use. And I'm actually pretty handy! The loading instructions are definitely on the packing I tossed away, but be wiser than I am and hold onto them until you load it for the first time. I eventually figured it out. It truly is a "reduced effort" stapler; as a student, I always have one on my desk so I can staple with one hand without having to lean on the desk.(TIP/UPDATE: I discovered the hard way that this stapler needs decent staples. The thin (read: "cheap") staples from the dollar/discount stores DO NOT operate in this stapler; it appears that their thinness prevents the small bar from pushing the staples forward; instead, the bar passes OVER the staples. Purchase some quality basics. When I couldn't get the cheapo staples to advance, I thought I would have to trash this item out of frustration. But when I eventually bought some excellent ones, it worked well. Words to the wise
There are a few different ways you can keep large amounts of paper together. One way is to use paper clips. Another way is to use a stapler. You can also use a binder or a folder.
The two main types of staplers are electric and manual. Electric staplers are faster and easier to use than manual staplers. They are also more expensive. Manual staplers are less expensive but take more time and effort to use.
There are a few options for stapler substitutes. A simple paperclip can do the trick in a pinch. If you need something a little more heavy duty, try using a binder clip. You can also use a piece of tape.
An electric stapler is a stapler that uses electricity to drive the staples into the paper.
T50 staples are those that are 50 mm in length. This is the most common size for staples used in offices and homes.
T50 staples are typically 18 gauge.
