Yes, bullet cameras are good. They are small, lightweight and easy to install. Bullet cameras also have a wide field of view and can be used in a variety of applications.
Most dome cameras are designed to be ceiling mounted, but some can be wall mounted as well. When mounting a dome camera on a wall, it's important to use the proper type of mount. A wall mount designed for a specific camera model will provide the best support and stability.
Most bullet cameras are fixed cameras, meaning they do not move. However, there are some PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) bullet cameras that do have moving parts. These cameras are designed for surveillance applications where a wider field of view is needed.
A CCTV camera needs a power source to work. The most common power source for CCTV cameras is electricity. If there is a power outage, the camera will not work.

outstanding caliber I've never been let down by Wansview. I need their most recent camera, a waterproof exterior camera, on my garage to monitor my mailbox. The two pack is also quite affordable!I tested it inside in low light and complete darkness, and it works perfectly! The installation package comes with a lot of screws and anchors, as well as a handy template for drilling holes in stucco, wood, or metal. It has been raining here this week, but this weekend I will add it to my garage!fantastic stuff I adore being able to view the cameras on the cloud app—I already have two Wansview cameras, which makes monitoring my home easy with just one app!

Well worth the money! highly advisableWow! This is exactly what I need! Due to a really extremely unpleasant encounter, I'm not particularly willing to contact with strangers online. Therefore, to me, the directions are crucial. It's a good thing the directions are SOOOOO easy to read! 5 stars, of course, for putting in my own security cameras with a little guidance from the instructions. The solar panel that powered the outdoor security camera conserves a lot of energy for the environment as well as for me. What matters more, that the camera functions well even at night, perhaps because to the 720P camera? It seems to work, but I'm not convinced. This one is superior to many others I found online because it is more scary at night. The other two are excellent as well, and it appears that they have infrared sensors to distinguish between humans and animals. I got many alerts, and it ended up being me! Although amusing, it gives me a sense of security.Overall, these cameras are priceless. Other advantages include the weatherproof nature of the cameras and their ability to transmit alerts in the event of obstructions. By utilizing these products, I feel safe because of all these features. These cameras might be of GREAT use to you if you care about your safety.

Since Unifi CloudKey Gen2 Plus was recently released, I have added one G3 Flex to the Ubiquiti equipment I have been using for my home network for approximately a year (so far). So far, I'm happy with it.Excellent image and audio quality, quick and simple time-line view viewing of recorded footage, adequate indoor night vision, and access to basic features like privacy and motion detection zones. However, there is room for development:* setup was time-consuming because there were no instructions for connecting or setting up the UCK2 to support video cameras (once I got this set, everything was smooth and explained well)The camera isn't motorized, so the direction and view are determined when it is placed, which isn't a problem, but the zone definition is a little clumsy and the IR is probably too weak to cover a doorway. The two screenshots that are included show the head of a mailman in a detected-motion video and my dogs running across the room to growl at him. The third is a brief video of my dog crossing the room that was saved from the web app. (Excuse the mess; there is a baby in the house.) Please take note that I have only just put up this camera in my living room for testing. In order to link up a few focused on the garage door and alley, I intend to purchase a few more and wire some Ethernet out to my garage in the spring.

This camera is fantastic in every way. I was really satisfied with the packaging and the top-notch components utilized to construct this product from the moment I first opened the box. I could see that the design had been given a lot of thought. It was simple to install the software. My camera was promptly identified by the app after I downloaded it and switched it on, and it just took a few easy steps for my camera to be operational. The fact that I had a few alternatives for mounting the camera made me extremely happy, but what truly made my day was the fact that I could attach the camera without having to make any significant holes in the walls. (Hanging it and using a screw to mount it are both options.) Once the mount is mounted securely to the wall, it is simple to attach the camera to it using the built-in magnet, and the ball design makes it possible to change the camera's angle or remove it at any moment.I received real-time notifications after the setup and installation were complete whenever there was motion detection. I can utilize the intercom feature on my phone to talk to whoever is at my door if I have a steady internet connection. I particularly appreciate that the notification feature allows me to watch both screenshots and videos in the past. The video and picture quality are excellent, and the night vision feature performs quite well. I've included a photo of my two dogs in a pitch-black room with this assessment.Although it was not a requirement for me right away, the waterproof construction is also good to have and may come in handy in the future.I have occasionally used the camera indoors to check on my dogs, but these days I usually use it to monitor the front and back doors of my house. The battery life of this camera has actually shocked me the most. The battery indicator now has full bars after almost 6 weeks of everyday use, which surprised me because I was highly skeptical of the claims provided in the description. So, consider me impressed! In general, I love that I can see who is at my door whether I'm home or not.I'd want to note that the instruction manual's font is really small, and I hope the vendor sees this remark. I suggest expanding the font to make it easier for old timers like myself to read.

Okay, let's get to the bottom of this.I like that it doesn't need access to my router or NVR because it connects straight to my home wifi network. The drawback of this is that you require a good connection where the cameras are; if your wifi coverage is poor, this can be a very frustrating problem. I ultimately installed a fantastic 4-station mesh system. I now have wifi across my entire yard in addition to my home! With my Bluetooth headset and my phone's music streaming capabilities, I can work anywhere. In addition, my video doorbell and these cameras both function quite well right now.The design of the app is excellent. I particularly appreciate the option to monitor 4 cameras on one screen. Now, FOR EACH CAMERA, YOU DO NEED A MICRO SD CARD! I have a 32G Sandisk that can store a week's worth of footage. The night vision is effective. You can program both functionalities on or off. It's good to be able to choose a time period for active alarms (I use 10pm to 7am) that will ring both on your phone AND pretty loudly on the physical unit. The motion sensor is VERY sensitive; it automatically finds bugs! ...at first, drive me insane. Set sensitivity to the very lowest level without a doubt. The cams are powered by an adapter, and you DO require adjacent 120v power. It's not a big deal for me, but it might be for you. Just be mindful. You don't have to give someone else complete access unless you want to because you may share the footage from each camera with other persons (accounts) separately.USE CAUTION TO AVOID DIRECT SUN LIGHT ON THE LENS! won't damage the camera, but completely ruins the video!Prior to installation, you MUST connect each camera to your network independently. The camera MUST hear a sonic tone that is produced by the app to accomplish this! Before mounting them outside, do this at the kitchen counter. The mounting bracket, in my opinion, should be better designed. Although a bit laborious, all three camera axes can be moved. It would have been MUCH BETTER to use a ball and socket fixture! However, it will direct you to the right place to look.I believe that's about it. These are extremely excellent, simple to set up, and connect as far as these things go. And considering the quality, the price is quite remarkable.

2017-12 UPDATE: I'm dropping my rating from 5 to 4. It's not a perfect camera, but it's still a fine one, and I just bought two more of them. Sadly, a week or so after I installed these cameras, my house was broken into a few weeks ago. Fortunately, nothing substantial was taken and there was no damage to the residence, which is why I didn't even learn about the burglary until a few days ago. I think the thief was scared off when a neighbor came home, and he fled without taking anything of value. However, he strolled right by one of my Yi outdoor security cameras, which did capture him when he came from my backyard at night. The framerate was only 20 fps, which is described as smooth here but is NOT smooth because the camera was in night-vision mode. As a result, the thief's face is completely obscured in the recording because of the motion blur. He wasn't running, just moving swiftly. He would have to pause and fix his gaze on the camera in order to achieve a recognisable capture. The bad result is that there isn't really any helpful evidence, despite the fact that I have a beautiful video showing him approaching my house and shining a spotlight in each window. However, despite having it set to the lowest sensitivity level, I had the sound security warning turned off because I frequently experience false alarms in my yard (birds etc). I imagine that if I had activated it and the camera had issued an alarm, it would very well have deterred the robber, which of course would have made me very happy.Again, good photography, but this was a major letdown anyway.- Because I don't pay for the cloud service and learned about the burglary more than a week after it occurred, the cloud-based clips were no longer accessible. Since all of my cameras use SD cards, I assumed utilizing the Yi desktop app would make it simple to download the footage from the SD cards. Sadly, that isn't the case at all; it appears to be impossible to download an SD card clip using the software (although a cloud clip appears to be very easy to download). I had to go to the camera, remove the SD card, insert it into my computer, copy the data over, and then replace the card in order to get the clips. I anticipate (and hope) that Yi will implement this quick software patch. It was accurately noted in a comment on my review that putting the SD cards PRIOR to attaching the camera would be a very excellent idea. A little panel that hides the SD card slot is secured in place by two tiny screws, which are difficult to access while standing on a ladder or something like. It's much simpler to do that at home on a countertop. The original assessment is below:I already own two Yi indoor cameras and have been anticipating the arrival of an outdoor model. They finally did this autumn, so I got three and just put them in today. The pictures are of excellent quality, and setting up the camera was simple. Here are some benefits, drawbacks, and advice I've discovered so far:Pros: - The phone app makes it simple to set up the camera. Simply use your phone to scan the QR code on the camera's back, enter your wifi password, and then use the camera to scan the QR code on your phone. When you include in downloading new firmware and other processes, it takes about 5 minutes each camera.- The Yi camera app on your phone is excellent if you've never used one before. You can give each of your cameras a name, and the main page displays a list of all of your cameras. A camera's live view appears when you tap it. Very user-friendly, never buggy. I've previously used Foscam (now Amcrest) cameras, and I've found their software to be extremely glitchy (often unable to connect, etc.). Never experienced that issue with Yi.- Wide viewpoint and highly good picture. Clear foreground and background objects- The camera is relatively compact and lightweight, and because it isn't that long overall, it doesn't seem horrible. I didn't need any additional support to put these on my soffits (eaves) because they are so lightweight. They could be pulled down if very large icicles develop on them, but I don't anticipate that to happen.- It's convenient that there are a lot of extra screws.Cons: Although the perspective is wide, it isn't particularly tall vertically. It's really not a big deal, but it's just something to be aware of. Although the magnification is functional, since it is a digital zoom, details rapidly become hazy. Once more, not a big deal, and I was aware of it when I purchased these. The lens front was mostly black, but I wonder if it could have been made mostly white. That would have looked more in keeping with my soffits.Just one installation-related tip, really. Although setting up the camera is simple, placing these on your soffits is laborious. Have extension cords ready to run in your attic, etc. For instance, here is how I installed three cameras:1. Before doing the actual installation, connect each camera to the smartphone app. You won't regret it because you don't want to read QR codes while perched on a ladder. The camera and mount are not yet connected.2. Head outside and drill a hole through the soffit that is little wider than 1/2" to accommodate the USB plug.3. Insert the power cord through the opening and up. Keep the camera perched on something to prevent it from falling (that would be really annoying).4. Climb into the attic, lie on your stomach, and position yourself as close as you can to the soffit. Avoid unintentionally stabbing your head on the shingle nails that are protruding through your roof. Use a long metal hook or something similar to fish about in the hidden soffit region until you are successful in catching the power cable (it might be from a hanger or anything else you have on hand). If there is insulation and other material, you will need to remove it all and reinstall it afterwards (this makes it a dusty and messy job).5. Thank your god or goddess and pull up the power cord to connect it into an extension cord when you finally get lucky and snag it.6. Staple that extension cord up and out of the way and run it to a power outlet.7. Return outdoors and set up the camera mount (I just screwed it straight into the soffit).8. Mount the camera by screwing it on.9. Open the app on your phone, position the camera as desired, and tighten it into place. In any case, it's not horrible, but the attic labor isn't enjoyable. It is obvious that the entire procedure can vary depending on where the camera will be installed (except for the first and last steps I suppose).
If you are in a public space, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to know if you are being watched. There are a few telltale signs that a surveillance camera may be present. First, check for any visible cameras. If you see a camera, it is likely that it is operational. Second, look for any signs or posted notices that indicate the presence of surveillance cameras. Third, be aware of your own reflection. If you can see yourself in a window or mirror, there is a possibility that you are being recorded. Finally, trust your gut. If you
A 2.8 mm camera can see quite far, especially if it is a high-quality camera. The average person can see about 1,000 meters with their unaided eye, but a 2.8 mm camera can see much further than that. If you are looking at a clear object, such as the moon, you can expect to see it from about 2,800 meters away with a 2.8 mm camera.
Dome cameras are a type of surveillance camera that is typically used in commercial and industrial settings. They are named for their dome-like shape and are often used in ceilings or high up on walls. Dome cameras are highly visible and can act as a deterrent to crime. They can be used indoors or outdoors and are often weatherproof. Dome cameras typically have a wider field of view than other types of cameras, and some models can see up to 180 degrees.
The security cameras should not be visible to the potential criminals. The potential criminals will be more likely to commit a crime if they know that their actions are being monitored. The security cameras should be hidden from view so that the criminals are not aware of their presence.
Bullet security cameras are one of the most popular types of surveillance cameras on the market today. These cameras get their name from their long, cylindrical shape that resembles a bullet. Bullet security cameras are typically small and compact, making them easy to install in a variety of locations. Bullet security cameras are typically used for outdoor surveillance because of their weather-resistant design. These cameras can be used in both residential and commercial settings. Bullet cameras can be mounted on a wall or ceiling, or they can be placed on a shelf or other surface. Bullet security cameras come
There are a few things to consider when choosing between dome and bullet cameras. One is the type of housing you need. If you need a more robust housing, then a bullet camera is a better choice. If you need a tamper-proof housing, then a dome camera is a better choice. Another thing to consider is the field of view. Bullet cameras typically have a narrower field of view than dome cameras. Finally, consider the installation. Bullet cameras are typically easier to install than dome cameras.
