There is NO interior (remote/electronics/transponder chip)unit inside.
The keyblade needs to be cut at your local dealer or qualified locksmith.
Please make sure your key is the same with the picture before you purchase.
This item is not a remote,it is just a remote key shell case replacement. All you need to do is to move the internal components from your old remote to our new case.
This is an aftermarket replacement key case but with good quality, which look and function like the original.
$234
It was purchased for a 2016 LTZ Tahoe, and it fits perfectly. The absence of the Chevy logo on the back is the only alteration from the original. When I found I could attach the original half with the logo to the other half from the new case, it worked flawlessly after I had tried it as it was sent. Cost seems reasonable. It was too recently purchased to judge durability, but it appears to be well crafted.

The panic button on my 2007 gen 2 Prius key (keyless entry) fell out, therefore I had to replace it. Dealer demanded money for both a new one and programming. You require this replacement case. There are several YouTube videos showing how to disassemble your old one.Was not too difficult, but keep in mind to carefully pry the old one apart to access the circuit board and battery, and look for the small chip at the end of the old key; otherwise, your car won't start, necessitating a trip to the dealer for a replacement and programming. It took me around 20 minutes to disassemble the previous model; the minor chip at the end was not glued (some may be). Simply insert the chip into the new key shell, install the circuit board, and push together to complete the process. The new case snapped together tightly, so I didn't put any adhesive on the edges in case I needed to disassemble it later. I used my old key to open the door because it has the silver Toyota emblem; you may have a new key made if you like, but I didn't need one. One thing to keep in mind is to save your old components up until you try the new key (or, if keyless, try it in the dash), as a trip to the dealer will be necessary if you lose or damage the chip. The size of the black chip on the key's end startled me (looks like the black plastic case). You can see how tiny the chip is by taking a look at the front end of the new key shell, which already has a spot for it. Good luck saving money by watching the YouTube videos.

I don't often write reviews, but I wanted to let future customers know that this is a fantastic product that is far more durable and attractive than the OEM key from my 2005 Porsche Boxster. However, moving the outdated critical components and fitting them inside this shell can be a little challenging. In particular, the original key's battery contacts and transponder must be removed and placed in the replacement shell. In order to insert the glued-in transponder into the new key fob, this procedure necessitates chopping up the old key. To learn how to replace it, just search for a YouTube video on replacing Porsche key fob electronics. The final key is superior to the original!

I purchased this to serve as a bandage for my broken key (my key separates down the middle and the battery stops working unless both sides are held together). It serves the intended function but also functions admirably as a protective cover, which may have prevented my key from breaking in the first place. The silicone has a really lovely, high-quality feel. If your Prius is like mine, you merely need to have the key inside the car with you to operate the vehicle. You will be unable to insert the key into the dashboard "ignition" slot with this case on it.

My dad didn't want his key fob to get nicked or peel, so I got it for him. When I gave it to him, he was thrilled! The carbon fibre details on his Corvette match perfectly and look fantastic! It feels substantial yet not at all bulky. All the buttons and the branding on the back are easily accessible, and the snap-on design is quite simple. He loved it so much that I'll be purchasing him more for all of his vehicles!

My 2008 Clubman has a push start. I simply need to have the key on me; I don't need to input it. I typically keep my key fob in the pocket of my jeans, and after ten years, the chrome ring was largely gone, exposing the yellowish plastic underneath. The key fob looks awful as a result. To keep the key fob out of sight, I bought a "leather jacket," but it makes the whole outfit rather cumbersome.I was overjoyed to discover this item on Amazon. The old plastic ring was a little challenging to remove. Since it doesn't have a break, I'm just trying to peel it off with a tiny flat screwdriver. It came off once the plastic ring was broken. It was simple to insert the replacement part because there was a break in the ring. Even after I installed it, there is still a gap.I rated it four stars overall. You'll notice a gap that wasn't there before, but it looks much better than the worn-out, yellowed plastic component.

arrived on schedule in a bubble mailer with a small box that resembles a (cheap) jewelry box. Undoubtedly a nice stocking stuffer or trinket.Pros: Nice heavy plastic that feels consistent and looks good Snaps on in a snap Seems to hold up well! While slapping it onto my key ring, I didn't damage it. Nice button depth and recess Glossy appearance—this is unquestionably preferred. This is not the carbon fiber for you if you're searching for a matte, faux-textured, realistic version. Cat endorsed, cat tested.Cons:-one star deducted for the cost. Despite the good quality, $10 seems excessive. Amazon once again proves convenient.-really difficult to attach to a standard key ring. I held the ring wide with a butter knife. If it continues to bother me, I'll post again. However, I would buy another one. I always succeed in removing the loop from my keyfobs. :(Fits my 5 button 2019 Nissan Kicks remote (remote start style).

The key was programmed by a lock smith shop and operates as it should. The only issue is that it requires more pressure than usual to activate the remote start button. Much more. However, aside from that, it is quite well crafted and functional. has been operating without a hitch for months. would repurchase.
