You can, but it's not recommended because airsoft guns shoot at a much lower velocity than real firearms. The scope could be damaged or even break if you used it on an airsoft gun.
No, you don't need a scope for airsoft.
How long a rifle scope should last depends on a number of factors, such as the quality of the scope, how well it is cared for, and how often it is used. A high-quality scope that is well-cared-for and used sparingly may last for decades. On the other hand, a lower-quality scope that is not well-cared-for and used frequently may only last a few years.

The quality is excellent. I didn't notice any problems, and it feels like it was constructed really nicely. The paint is flawless, everything functions smoothly, and the red dot generally has a very pleasant appearance. The brightest setting is not required at night when all of the lights are off around the house. There was no need for the brightest setting even when looking through it during the day, so I set it to the middle, and it was ideal. Green and red both seem to be of the same color quality, thus I'm not sure which I prefer. Let's face it—for the money, this red dot is fantastic. Since the EOTech is currently out of my reach, I wanted something else. After going to the range, I'll write more. Because the co-witness with my iron sights is exactly in line, I gave accuracy five stars. I don't think there needs to be much, if any, change, but I'll update this.

I was initially willing to take a chance for $20. I've never seen a laser so bright when I received it, charged the battery, and turned it on. In fact, at night, it is so dazzling that a green beam is produced and collides with the clouds. It's not intended for use by the military because it will immediately reveal your location, but I bought it for nighttime and off-the-hip shooting. The level of intimidation is through the roof. Any intruders who enter your home will be alerted right away that something horrible is going to happen thanks to a lightsaber-like green laser that will reveal the target to anybody within 500 yards. It appears at a range of 200 yards in broad daylight. adjusts similar to a scope.

Give them a plastic box to store them in for the first time for $.50. Even if the box survived delivery, the parts shouldn't be kept in it because of how hefty they are.The lapping tool doesn't seem to be completely accurate because of some uneven wear, which suggests it may be somewhat out of round. Although it doesn't prevent you from using the tool, if it had been turned appropriately, I would have been happier. Why the supplier's name predominated the title, as if they had created it, irritates me. In contrast to knowledge on the goods itself, we don't need to know who is selling the item.

really striking brightness. See the attached photographs to see how easy I can see the laser dot at 575 yards at night. At 50 yards, in broad daylight, at noon on a cloudy day, as I was shooting today. Further testing in daylight or under clear skies has not been possible for me. But I can tell that this is just as entertaining and precise at 50 yards when shooting targets for amusement as my $400 Eotech 512. Although I didn't get to shoot any further than this, my impression is that this will be less accurate than a costly holographic sight at long ranges because the dot will be a little bit bigger than the 1 MOA Eotech dot (on the holographic site) at 100 yards. No one will even attempt to convince you that this is superior to an Eotech. And since they use completely distinct technology, I'm not getting rid of my Eotech. Holographic sights have some undeniable practical advantages over laser sights, but that is a topic for another discussion. You'll get the same results using this Pinty laser sight as you will with a pricey holographic site, and you'll have just as much fun, if all you want to do is fire targets at distances of 50 to 100 yards. On an AR-15, I fired 300 5.56 rounds today, and the weapon held zero admirably. Recoil won't cause it to malfunction, and the mount is made of good, premium anodized aluminum. includes a battery, a figure-8 mount, and a picatinny rail mount. Prior to doing this, I had always believed laser sights were ridiculous. You just must purchase one for the price if you're anything like me.The remote is "momentary on" only, which means that when you press it, the laser is on and when you release pressure, it goes off. You cannot click to toggle the laser on / off using the remote; you must press the tail cap button instead. This also includes a battery, an allen wrench for mounting it, a remote switch, and some velcro to mount the remote. The windage and elevation adjustments are also extremely good, with wonderful tangible clicks that are very snappy and nobs that are simple to turn without tools. With my kids, I can use this laser beam to point out stars and constellations while we study astronomy.I got a second one today and urge you to purchase one as well — this is worth a LOT more than $20, and the mounting hardware alone might be $100. This is an absurdly good deal!

The scope for my DPMS Oracle 308 is excellent. easy to sight in and zero. For me, parallax correction is a major plus. has an image that is clear at all magnifications and distances. However, I added high profile scope rings to it. Another excellent feature is that elevation and windage adjustments can be locked. I think the mid-level scope is really nice. It is a fantastic scope for recreational shooters out to 200 yards. I don't really care about the reticle color modification, but it's a good feature.Update: I find that the high profile scope rings make it easier for me to sight in on a target. As a matter of taste, it also provides greater space to access the charging handle.July 29, 2016 Update:It was really simple to zero the scope; after four groups of three shots, I was in the black for the remainder of the day. Even after 200 rounds of 308 ammunition, the zero remains when I locked the adjustments down. Although I'm not a particularly good shooter, this scope is excellent, and I essentially missed the target's center. I need to retract what I said about the color reticle. I can't make out the red, but I can see the green clearly. My severe astigmatism may be the reason why I lack sufficient knowledge. With this buy, I am quite happy. My son's 20–30 year old eyes clearly see both color reticles.I also had to call Leapers customer service because some goods in the delivery were missing; they sent them to me in a couple of days. Happy client.24 March 2017:With well over 1000.308 rounds fired through it, the scope still maintains zero and produces a clear, crisp image.

As the title indicates, this was a perfect match for my Mossberg Maverick 88, a shotgun with a bead sight and an 18.5-inch barrel in 12 gauge. Follow the directions on the packaging, and make sure your weapon is clear and not loaded with ammunition. After checking, double-check. This item fits quite closely. Since it is challenging to modify once placed, center the sight as best you can. The bead fits into a little notch on the front to assist center and secure your new sight. I had to move mine slightly forward during installation in order to get the bead to fit into the notch. DO NOT MOVE THIS SIGHT WITH A METAL HAMMER OR METAL PUNCH AS IT WILL PROBABLY SCRIBE YOUR BARREL. I lightly tapped the Tru Glo sight forward with a little nylon hammer by tapping on the sight's black plastic portion. Try to avoid hitting the fragile fiber optic element. For me, this worked perfectly. Just remember not to give up; it could take a few tries, but you'll figure it out. Keep a tight grip on the attachment or sight during mounting, it should be noted. This item is "spring loaded" until you turn it all the way on. If you aren't fully seated, it WILL launch. Why do I know that? Anyway, I am overjoyed with this sight. It is a HUGE improvement over the tiny brass bead, and my sight acquisition is much, much better. Because my eye loves green and it contrasts better with the red "bulls eye" on the targets at the range when I go practicing/conditioning, I chose the green optic over the red one. You decide what is best for YOU, though. Take your time and be careful, and I hope this was helpful to at least one person. Make a liberal grin by telling them you saved money by putting in a gun attachment yourself. Be careful, remain composed, and aim accurately. Godspeed to everyone!

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. wonderful sight image of excellent quality. Ordering this was a gamble for me because I valued sight picture highly and there aren't many images or movies online that demonstrate that part of the optic. The ideal addition to our Red Ryder. It takes some time to acclimate. The Red Ryder won't accept the scope without a Lasso Rail Mount kit, so you must get it first.A screwdriver is the sole equipment required to attach the scope to the Lasso Rail Mount. The provided instructions are excellent. For additional information and a photo of the necessary Lasso Rail Mount, see the pictures. No, this sight isn't of the highest caliber, but it does make shooting a Red Ryder BB pistol at a distance of 10 to 15 feet more enjoyable. If my review was helpful to you, kindly click the "helpful" button.I'm grateful.
A scope can cost anywhere from $100 to over $1,000 depending on the quality and features. The most important factor in deciding how much to spend on a scope is to match the quality of the scope to the quality of the rifle. A high-end scope on a low-end rifle is a waste of money, and vice versa. Another important factor is the intended use of the rifle. A hunting rifle will need a different scope than a target rifle.
There is no definitive answer to this question as quality rifle scopes can vary greatly in price depending on a number of factors, such as the brand, the features, and the overall quality of the product. However, as a general rule of thumb, you can expect to pay anywhere from $100 to $1,000 for a quality rifle scope.
There is no definitive answer when it comes to how much you should spend on a scope. However, as a general rule of thumb, you should spend no more than 10% of your overall budget on the optic. So, if you have a $1,000 budget for your rifle, you should not spend more than $100 on the scope. There are a lot of factors that go into choosing the right scope for you. The type of rifle you have, the type of shooting you plan on doing, and your personal preferences will all play a role in what you need
