I practice massage therapy. These pillows had a beautiful scent, and my clients really liked them. However, I followed the directions and spritzed the pillow with water before heating it for 20 minutes in my towel warmer, then I used it on one patient while wrapping it in a dry washcloth. Everything went smoothly up until the point when I put it out to dry and it started to get stiff and crunchy. Even though I'm sure I contributed to it in some manner, I had to discard it. I now have three left. The other two I haven't used yet, but I keep one in the freezer. desired these a lot for heat therapy.

I've tried a ton of different things over the years, both at home and when traveling, to obtain a good night's sleep. I've had this pillow for the past two years and am now purchasing a second one so I can simply put it in my travel luggage because I get so uncomfortable when I fail to pack it! Eye mask straps make my hair a tangle, hurt my ears, and give me a headache. By being smooth and chilly on one side and warm and velvety on the other, this cushion stands apart from others. if the lavender smell disappears. Unzipping it will allow you to add fresh, loose lavender; just be careful not to add too much or it may become overpowering. Yes, you may also wash it, but be sure to use an unscented detergent since you want to smell lavender when you sleep down rather than Tide.

Okay, I simply had to write this review since, as a night shift worker, these products are a godsend (and yes, that is a genuine statement)!I work 12-hour night shifts as the Charge RN on a busy Med/Surg, Oncology hospital unit. I sleep throughout the day, and my ideal sleep time is between 9am and 3:30pm. If I am awakened, it is quite difficult for me to get back asleep, especially if there is light in my bedroom. Even though I have blinds and painted my walls a dark color, light still enters the room. If light hits my retinas, it is enough to wake me up and make me think about the things I need to start doing for the day—even though it is only 1 p.m. and I have to get ready for work between 6 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. I easily forget about sleep once my thoughts are preoccupied with the tasks of the day, the kids, preparing supper, etc., and I require more sleep when I work back-to-back days.I also avoid using sleeping pills because I don't want to develop a habit of doing so. I thus use sleep aids and relaxation techniques, but they either stretch, slip, have holes, or are too tight and hurt my eyes, head, etc. I was never able to locate the ideal ones. I kind of leapt on the opportunity when I received the email offering to check out these masks in exchange for a frank evaluation because I'm constantly looking for the best sleep mask.I used these for the first time today, and WOW! So cozy, and it fits well! It was so comfortable that I didn't even feel like I was wearing a mask at all! There were no gaps and no light, and the fit could be adjusted. It doesn't ruin my makeup if I happen to take a catnap on my days off.CON: **** I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THESE SOONER! I truly can't think of any drawbacks for these, ****.Now that I have told my hospital coworkers who work the night shift that they should get them, they are doing so. One of my friends received hers last week, and she also gushes about them.I've attached photos of these masks and the old, shabby ones I used to wear (I have around 8 masks in total, but I snapped a photo of the ones I wore most frequently before these)... and the contrast is like night and day!
