It was time for me to organize myself, so I went to Amazon to see what I could discover. I had no idea there was anything better out there, but I was planning on acquiring an antique, open-topped knitting basket. I immediately knew I had to have this purse after seeing it. It has substantially reduced the amount of "crochet clutter" I have. This bag fits a lot of yarn and is lightweight and portable. I have the bag filled with two regular-sized skeins, two "pounder" skeins, and a number of smaller balls since I'm now working on an afghan. There are tiny pockets that are ideal for keeping crochet hooks organized, a bigger pocket that I'm using for scissors and stitch markers, and then a yet bigger pocket that is ideal for storing written instructions. The zippers are alright; unlike some reviewers, I haven't experienced any problems with them sticking. Furthermore, I found no odd chemical smells emanating from the bag at all. Although soft, the bag material is durable. Even without yarn, it maintains its shape and doesn't sag. It holds up well. AWESOME bag. Although I don't knit or crochet, this bag is fantastic for scrapbooking or keeping a bullet journal! The back area is the perfect size for holding my A5-sized journals, and I use the front "skein" sections to store all of my different pens, markers, tools, and stickers. Without having to first unzip the top, the transparent plastic flap with a magnetic latch can be readily lifted to allow me to slide my journal in and out for a quick update. Eight huge pen loops and five flat slots for small pens are located in the front zip pocket. If you use standard weight yarn and size 8 needles, this is a beautiful bag "or less needles for knitting. I had to insert my ten "needles because they wouldn't fit in the organizer flap on the front pocket. Additionally, I didn't get the included shoulder strap. For that reason, I don't want to return the bag. I'm expecting the supplier will provide one to me. It works well for little to medium-sized projects all around. You would need something larger if you wanted it for an afghan or another larger blanket.

You can work on a project while untethered from the bag by pulling skeins of yarn through the top slits, which are big enough.Because the bag doesn't have much ability to stand on its own, even though it will stand up nicely with the provided dividers inside, I awarded this four instead of five stars. The main issue is that the dividers aren't connected to the bag in any way, so they tend to fold up or buckle if you aren't stuffing your bag with yarn (this might not be an issue for most, but I've vowed to hold off on buying more yarn until I finish my current scarf, which I've been working on for several years intermittently). This was resolved by using a needle and thread to sew the top halves of the divider together, which worked well.The bag has a lot of convenient outside pockets. I appreciate that I can tuck my knitting gloves, along with pencils and needles, into the sides. The bag even holds up well after washing, as demonstrated by a terrible occurrence involving a scared chihuahua and a full bladder that put the bag to a test I hadn't anticipated.Overall, I'd say this is well worth it given the cost. It's great to have the yard feed through the top holes while double knitting because it keeps everything tidy and portable. There is plenty of room to load this purse full, and the color is just as depicted (for turquoise, at least).

In summary, this bag is well made and functional. I currently have yarn to start a summer wrap and a baby blanket. Despite the fact that I occasionally have to unzip it to turn the skein, especially when it is new, it helps to prevent the yarn from rolling over the floor. The strong canvas material is superior to what I found in JoAnns and other similar stores. My only complaints are that the yarn must pass through the zipper opening when you have threaded yarn through the hole and want to place the object in the bag to protect it. The possibility of snagging the yarn would be reduced by a secure "re-entry location." Second, the material's tattered edges along the seams continue to tangle with the yarn and the zipper. I believe it has stopped after several rounds of pruning the loose ends, but that was a pain. However, I still believe this deserves a 5 because of the fair pricing given what you get.

Oh, yeah! This is awesome, man! I had been eyeing a competitor's comparable knitting bag on Amazon, but it was difficult for me to rationalize spending $60 or more just to obtain the bag with the lid. Well, this is perfect, so I'm glad I did my research and found it! And a knitting bag that has everything I needed. It has a really solid, well-made feel to it. There are many small features that demonstrate how carefully this was designed, such as the Velcro tabs used to secure the thread, the pass-through clear divider with a clear bag, and the countless pockets and storage choices. When I travel, I can fit everything in this bag, including knitting books, ordinary books, snacks, and supplies, and still have room to spare! Additionally, it has two open pockets on either side and plenty of room for several skeins of yarn. Other features include a two-part zipped cover, zippered compartments on the front and rear of the bag, and a two-part zippered compartment (right now I have 8 packed in there). I have a knitting board that doesn't quite fit, but I'm okay with it poking out the zippered portion. The rest remains safe and in its original location. The two things I wish were included are a more robust bottom for the bag and a piece of Velcro or a magnet that would keep the top turned down when I want the bag opened to the clear lid. That is the only minor complaint I have. Since I carry my bag everywhere and often find myself in tight quarters (like a plane, car, etc.), it's nice to know that the top isn't flapping around taking up additional room. So far, neither of these things have been a problem at all. I wish it had a more sturdy bottom because I take it camping with me as well, but so far I've had no problems with durability, so I anticipate this lasting a long time. The topmost lid's zipper can occasionally be challenging to zip, but it hasn't been a major drawback in my opinion. I've included a few images to provide examples of size and arrangement. You won't be sorry you bought this.

I signed up because it is incredibly helpful.The Positive: This bag is fantastic for all of my tasks, and I love it. from creating blankets to creating scarves and other crafts. It is enormous and can accommodate numerous projects as well as a lot of yarn. When you first obtain this bar, it is simple to fill it and feed the yarn through the holes, and the storage side is big enough for baby blankets or other crafts.It has a pleasant quality. Not fantastic, but also not awful. Although on the cheaper side, zippers fit the quality of the bag and function well for me. Although not overly thin, the clear plastic is thin enough that I am not concerned about needles boring holes through it.The Bad: This bag, in my opinion, was not carefully considered. The bag has no structure at all. Without something inside of it, it won't maintain its shape. Something that would have let everything stand on its own may have been offered. Some cardboard that has been chopped and molded, perhaps.The bottom of every compartment is open, which is the second problem. I've discovered that the yarn can slide under the base and into the storage side as it becomes smaller. When working on projects and moving them around, I don't want it to happen. The one thing that disturbed me the most was this. This would have been the one thing that could have made me decide against buying it, thus I would have liked to know. I anticipated it would have strong deviders.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would suggest it. Due to the cost, I was hesitant to buy it, but I'm pleased I did! Their smaller bowl can carry a skein of yarn up to 3 or 4 weights (depending on the type of yarn) securely without spilling over the top. The working yarn is fed via a beautifully smooth swirl notch. I recently completed a lace-weight project using the bowl, and I experienced no snags, pilling, or—this is what I was most concerned about with this product—yarn breaking. I'm genuinely happy with the outcome.Whether the bowl is knocked over, the ball of yarn and project (if it is lace or 1 weight) will stay in place thanks to the free knitting needle that slides through from the outside.
