Here is a comparison between the original battery and this one as a replacement for anyone who are curious about how well the battery performs.My gamepad's settings are 5 (highest) brightness, no power-saving mode, and active rumble.I gave each test a full night to charge (probably unnecessary).- The standard battery has a runtime of 2 hours, 28 minutes.- The battery in this device lasted 5 hours, 56 minutes.It was easy to install; just loosen the two screws holding the plate on, remove the old battery, slide the plug out of the way, and slip the new plug in. The new battery sits farther away and is clearly larger.Even though I weigh 230 pounds and have enormous hands, I didn't detect any noticeable weight changes. It's conceivable that I am just not sensitive to the difference.Overall, I'm glad I bought this. It was a tremendous hassle to have to charge the gamepad every three hours; I wish I had known about this option earlier.

I changed the wii u controller's battery. I believe that is just the standard since this one doesn't provide significantly more playtime than the ills battery. My old one is probably still functional, but if you do need a replacement battery pack, this device performs as promised and is reasonably priced.
