I don't usually write reviews, but I must admit that I was really pleased with how well the cable functioned with my Wii. I figured any component cable would suffice since I had lost the original cord for it. I previously ordered one, and it either made the Wii screen go wild or only display in black and white. With this cable, my Wii now functions flawlessly!

This Nintendo Wii U accessory cable from a third party vendor features analog stereo RCA outputs and a composite video output. It is by no means a heavy duty structure, yet it serves its purpose. Its length is 68 inches, or 172 cm (5.67 ft). Both the analog stereo output to my receiver and the composite video output to my 32" CRT TV are satisfactory. There is no gold plating on the RCA connectors. They do, however, have adequate stress reduction on each connector. This will work if you absolutely must not utilize the HDMI output on the Wii U and your TV does not have component inputs.

For my two children, I recently bought a Wii U, which I intended to place in the living room. Lone one of the four televisions I possess has an HDMI port, and the Wii U's only accessory is an HDMI cord. Fortunately, I have two Wiis, so I removed the wire from one of them, but my son's room is now Netflix-free. He uses that as his only method of watching television because we don't have cable, therefore I located this thing. It seemed to be just what I needed and was a fantastic deal. Absolutely everything about this order exceeded my expectations. This is my list of satisfied items:1. It is inexpensive.2. Although it wasn't meant to arrive until Monday, it did on Thursday.3. Compared to the Wii's original cord, this cord is much higher quality.4. All I can say is that it is simply perfect.I was pleasantly surprised with this buy. I anticipated getting a cord that looked like the standard Wii cords, but this one is thicker and appears to be "heavy duty," if you know what I mean. Therefore, this item is ideal and well worth the money if your dog chewed on your chord, you bought a Wii U but it doesn't have HDMI hook ups, you lost your cable to the Wii, or you bought a cheap Wii without connectors.

What this device accomplishes is: -Converts your Wii's analog 480i component signal to a digital 480p signal that it outputs over HDMI.What this gadget CANNOT accomplish-transforms your Wii's normal video signal into a universal HD 720p/1080p over HDMI feed.Make sure that the TV, monitor, or capture card that you connect your Wii to via this device supports 480p over HDMI. In order for it to function, you would either need to have a different device or you will need to buy an HDMI upscaler separately. Get a Wii U instead of a Wii if you want to play HD versions of your Wii games.I plugged my monitor in without first verifying that it supported 480p over HDMI, and surprise, surprise, it didn't work. That's my fault, not the makers of this. Eventually, I managed to locate a TV that supported 480p over HDMI, and it was flawless. Superior to the Wii's basic composite connections in terms of video quality, but also more practical than component cables, which are no longer supported by all modern TVs and capture cards.

This is for you if your TV's HDMI ports aren't working properly or if there aren't any more HDMI ports available.Recently, I used the HDMI cable that came with the WiiU to connect it to my Sony HDTV from around 2005. I bought this product because all I got for a picture was a hazy, wavy image with music. It was shipped quickly and arrived the same day as the purchase. I now have 1080i HD and can use my WiiU as much as I'd like after hooking it into my WiiU.When buying this product, there are a few things to bear in mind. You might not see anything on the TV at first after connecting the wires to the WiiU. This is due to the fact that your WiiU is still configured for an HDMI cable rather than a component cable. What you must do is as follows:Enter the WiiU gamepad's system settings, then scroll down to the "TV settings" tab and switch the "TV Connection Type" setting from HDMI to Non-HDMI.*After finishing, switch the "TV Resolution type" to 1080i.You should now have high definition sound and picture!

It performed as promised. I linked this converter to the Wii (which was necessary) and an out-of-production AVR-Denon 3808ci via HDMI cable so that it could channel my 2011 LG 55LW5700 55" HDTV in 1080P. Works fantastic and thanks to the AVR-Denon 3803ci, I can upscale from 480P (the Wii's maximum resolution) to 1080P/1080i. Please be aware that the Wii Menu Graphic Settings will not have changed. Nothing can function that way. I need to go through my Denon or have an upscaling BluRay player in order to get 1080P/1080i on a DVD (which can only output 480P). This Converter has the same qualities. Like a DVD disc, the Wii has a 480P resolution restriction. To reach a higher resolution (than 480P), you'll need an AVR-Upscaler, which is typically required for compatibility reasons. Don't anticipate the Wii games' graphics to improve dramatically. The cable that is included in this set is excellent, braided and all. Because I broke the component/RGB connectors on the rear of my LG, I purchased it. The WOVTE combo cable/adapter version with a 6' cable is the subject of this review.

I was quite skeptical before buying this, based only on the rating. After reading a few YouTuber reviews, I decided to give it a try—what could go wrong?Installing this product is simple; you simply plug it into your Wii like any other device. Avoid connecting it to your TV's 4K HDMI port because doing so could cause problems. When it was plugged into this port, I frequently saw random black screens. I relocated it to my TV's side HDMI port, and I haven't noticed it happening since (yet). This is the only problem I've had with the product so far. I don't want to be concerned about it black-screening while playing in multiplayer or even at crucial game moments. I feel like yanking this out of my TV and hurling it across the room since it seriously detracts from the experience. But is the marginal improvement in video quality worth it? I'd concur.I've played a variety of Wii and Gamecube games over my time with this plug. And I have to admit that this product really shines on the Gamecube in terms of picture quality. With a few tweaks to TV settings, Metroid Prime looks absolutely wonderful on a 4K TV, with crisper edges to the models and a more clear picture. My partner even remarked that the game didn't appear to be ancient at all but rather incredibly impressive. There are several examples, but this is the one that most astounded me.This, in my opinion, is the best and most affordable choice if you're seeking for excellent visual quality solely for Gamecube games. I haven't had a lot of chance to play many Wii games. But I'll be updating as I go.The Hyperkin HD won't increase texture resolutions or change how games currently seem. The resolution will only be increased to 480p. For me, the screen did occasionally go black, but maybe replacing HDMI ports has corrected this. If you want to make Gamecube games seem pretty darn great, get this. I wanted my Wii to have a clearer picture with sharper edges. I got that from this.I will give this product a lower rating if anything continues to become worse. I'll revise this review and give it five stars if it performs as expected. At some point in the near future, I'll also add some images to this review.
Wii does look better with HDMI. The colors are more vibrant and the image is overall sharper. If you have a Wii and an HDMI-compatible TV, it's definitely worth making the switch.
If you have a Smart TV that supports HDMI connections, you can connect your Wii to it using an HDMI cable. If you don't have an HDMI cable, you can use a Wii Component Cable, which will connect to the red, green, and blue ports on the back of your TV.
To connect a Wii to a modern TV, you will need an HDMI cable. Once you have the HDMI cable, simply connect one end to the Wii and the other end to the TV. If your TV does not have an HDMI input, you can use an adapter to connect the Wii to the TV.
It really depends on the game you're playing. For example, games that involve a lot of pointing and shooting, like many first-person shooters, are better played with the Wii horizontal. But if you're playing a game that uses the Wii remote more like a traditional controller, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, then you might want to try playing with the Wii vertical. Ultimately, it's up to you and what you're most comfortable with.
There are three plugs on the Wii. They are the power plug, the AV plug, and the sensor bar plug. The power plug goes into the wall, the AV plug goes into the TV, and the sensor bar plug goes into the Wii remote.
There are four different color codes for Wii cords: Red, White, Yellow, and Blue. Red is for the power cord, white is for the video cord, yellow is for the audio cord, and blue is for the controller cord.
