The seat and back rest covers are excellent. I also bought the bag that went with it. On my Hugo Elite rollator walker, it fit well. I had no trouble covering the stock cover on it with the rail cover. To move the back edge of the cover between the seat and rail, I first loosened the seat screws for the seat, then I tightened them once more. As a result, the cover will fit more snugly and will help it remain put.Instead of sewing, the fabric is embossed before being quilted. How well this wears will only be apparent after six months or more. I enjoy how the fabric feels. It is a little bit slippery, which doesn't bother me but might for some individuals or clothing.I receive a lot of remarks about this, and frequently people tell me that it seems to have been built specifically for my walker, so the fit is obvious. Even strangers have taken selfies and pictures with my customized walker!

I underwent surgery three weeks ago after my Achilles tendon ruptured four weeks prior. Since crutches didn't let me move around, I got a knee scooter right away. With crutches, it won't be possible for me to access the fresh air I need to breathe outside or walk around the house without restriction. Everything was going smoothly until I noticed that my knee was suffering from the lack of cushion and support provided by the scooter's pad. I compared several options for support pads, and I'm glad I chose this one. as promised, arrived on schedule! This cloth is really thin and elastic, which was perfect for my needs. This fit well on top of the old velour cover, which was getting fairly worn and would not stay in position on the seat. My mother now has more padding in addition to her great new appearance. With a lovely velcro strip running the length of it, the backrest cover is put on pretty quickly. The fact that the seat cover had elastic ALL around and a pull cord to adjust everything to my great joy. Excellent product and service! Must add that this is a little too showy for my 93-year-old mother, who is also legally blind, and that a plain navy blue might be great down the line if she wanted one. I couldn't be happier with this product, and it won't get lost amid the nursing home's lined-up walkers!

This device seemed to have the best results for people out of all those I saw promoted for my Vive knee scooter, so I gave it a try. Sure enough, it matched what the majority of people said:- Cushions very nicely but FYI it does compress directly into any crevices in your seat diminishing some of its cushioning. - Snugly fits with two bands and a synch cable to fit around the knee seat well.This cushion will fill in the crisscrossing recesses in the middle of your seat if your Vive knee scooter has them, leaving you with a lumpy cushion for your knee. Despite this, the cushion still offered far more comfort than the seat alone because most people will rest their knee and shin across the recess areas, settling on the ends of the seat. Since I'm a big guy, it was crucial that the cushion didn't move about much when I hopped on the scooter, and it barely moves at all. That was important to keep me from eating the pavement if I had to use these tiny scooters to get around. Good purchase

A knee walker makes such a huge difference! Crutches have their own problems for those of us over a certain age. The twist and push to the left connector for the handlebar did provide a small challenge for me. Since some here have stated that it was a breeze, perhaps some are a little tighter than others. It has shown to be solid, supple, and stable after it has been put together. I adore that a basket is included! I can carefully load it into my minivan even though I have back problems because it just weighs a little over 20 pounds. In order for me to get it in and then get into the driver's seat, my spouse removed the passenger seat from behind the wheel. Since I'm tall, I've set it to the highest setting, but even so, it fits perfectly inside my minivan without requiring me to release and tilt the handlebar! To me, that's a major perk! It's even more endearing because my two-year-old granddaughter loves that Grammy owns a "scooty bike" too! She moves around the home on a tricycle without pedals. Now, the two of us ride scooters in circles around the kitchen table, dining room table, and corridors. She requested a basket similar to Grammy's, so I drilled holes in a plastic container and fastened it to her handlebars. As a result, we both have bicycle bells that we can ring to one another while riding. Once I'm healed, I'll keep this as my toy. I haven't moved so quickly in a long time!

With the help of bone fusion and a lot of titanium, I had an arch rebuilt. Before I was allowed to leave the hospital the day after surgery, the physical therapist presented me with my mobility alternatives while wearing a non-walking cast for 6 to 8 weeks. The use of crutches was obvious; a middle-aged basketball player's injury was caused by clumsiness. The bulky cast had to be supported by the walker. I'm too old (just turned 64 last week) to lose weight in that manner; it won't give me a six-pack. They let me test the heavenly walker they had. Since I grew up riding motorbikes and bicycles, it handled like the former with training wheels because I'm skilled at parallel parking.The one my wife was able to rent was a different matter. If the Roscoe had been new, tight, and had tires with tread, I might have been happy with it. The Roscoe front axle turns, in contrast to the Essential, which has a fixed front axle with tie rods for turning. There is a beneficial, crucial component shared by both scooters. Since the rear axle is narrow, your foot won't frequently be struck by the back wheel. But this illustrates a problem I realized the first night. The Roscoe is prone to tipping over when the front wheels are cut hard since the front support, which I can verify to happening, is an angled collection of support points while the back support is still a narrow fixed axle.I reluctantly stood back up, proceeded to the bathroom—my original mistake—and then logged on to Amazon to look for their best-rated scooter ( the Essential). After placing my order, I called the physical therapist and was not shocked to learn that they had shown me how to use the Essential.Delivery in two days is a blessing. Gratitude to Amazon. Be more wise than I was when getting up to go to the bathroom. Even if your scooter is a mini-Ferrari, if you're a guy and need one you need a hospital style bottle to save yourself the trouble.Purchasing the scooter for $400 is still more cost-effective for the time I'll need it. Make sure to receive the Essential if you must rent. I would definitely advise purchasing from Amazon and reselling if you are unable to rent one.As a math teacher in my pre-retirement years, I need to be mobile, so I may postpone this until the middle of the year. The doctor estimated that it could take six months to get back to normal. Before school starts, I'll probably add the basket to carry things. Since I've just had three days to work on each, I have several questions about construction and will publish a long-term report when I have it. Because it has two locking wheels as opposed to the Roscoe's single locking wheel, the Essential is clearly a more comfortable and secure scooter.I thoroughly scrutinized the Essential's construction as I put it together. These are my longer-term thoughts and observations. The two-sided, symmetrical, bent tubing of the Essential frame has four fixed support points. The middle tube section of the Roscoe had more welds than bends. To support the welds, neither had added gussets. A little looseness in the Roscoe's steering height adjustment transferred to a wobble at the top, which I mostly addressed with tape around the interior of the two joining tubes. The roscoe has a higher adjustability. We'll see if that results in better stability over the long term. Significantly below the cushion level and welded to the tip to fold assembly is the fixed mount for the bottom turning section. However, a lengthy lever arm ungusseted weld is still present (although the very generous application of welding solder is molded as if by an artist.) This wasn't a dirty job, but design is design, and physics says the joint will be under a lot of stress. Last but not least, why is there one tie rod on one wheel and two on the other? Will it change anything?I'll keep you informed, but for the time being, the Essential is all that is required unless you don't need a scooter at all.A follow-upI enjoyed using the Free Spirit for a little over six weeks. Breaks function effectively on slick ramps. Frame remained firmly in place. In the interest of comfort and convenience, I added the sheepskin seat cover and basket. Just need to figure out how to market it now.

This is so much more effective than crutches, which I utilised after an ankle surgery! Crutches were too demanding on my wrists because of rheumatoid arthritis.My was my first recovery on a scooter after five operations on this ankle. Compared to recoveries I had with crutches or boots, mine was noticeably quicker and simpler. I even brought this fantastic little scooter camping, where it handled grass, gravel, and dirt with ease. Such a find!I am only 115 pounds. and 5'2" tall. That might have made my experience better.
