A nice tiny desktop fan with a 3-speed motor that runs on USB moves a respectable quantity of air. Even on my stand-up desk, which is lifted and lowered repeatedly during the day, the rubber pads keep it stable enough. There is a small bit of noise, but it is to be expected given the volume of air moving at the higher settings. Although it lacks a built-in rechargeable battery, I have several USB gadgets charged by a 6-port smart USB charger at work and only use one of those ports. I initially purchased two of these fans, gave the second one to a coworker, and then went ahead and purchased two more, keeping one with my travel accessories and keeping the other as a backup.

This works REALLY GREAT when connected to a reliable power source*.To use by my bed, I recently ordered a second one.In relation to power... During a full-day meeting, I hooked this into a RavPower dual-USB power supply, and it worked perfectly! The fan operated normally and even ran all day using only around 10% of the power from the power pack. In any case, this is a keeper!My only issue is that it can vibrate away from you on high, but it is a very simple remedy.Original assessment:This works fantastically when connected to an old Apple iPhone USB wall charger! In fact, since it's so lightweight, on high it works so well that the vibrations cause it to shake its way across my desk. Those are really the only two things I have to complain about.I tried to plug this into the USB port on my monitor, but even though it has power, there isn't enough power to power this device at the same time.I could easily plug right into my computer if the cord was a little bit longer.I rounded up to 5 stars since I still think that, given my two objections, the rating should be closer to 4.75 than 4.25.

What a beautiful tiny fan! This fan is a lifeline for me because I reside in Florida, where it is hot and muggy virtually all year. The first time I tried it, I was astounded by how well this gadget produces chilly air. There are three huge and three little blades, all of which have a sort of curve to them and are angled just perfectly to produce a lovely cooling blast of air, so I suppose that might be the cause.I liked it so much after purchasing one that I later bought two more. I usually have one on hand since I keep one in my handbag, one at the office, and one on my nightstand. The fan charges easily and retains its charge for a long time. They are used frequently throughout the day, and I don't know what I would do without them.One little flaw that I did find with the fan was that if it was folded or unfolded while it was running, the fan would shut off and stop functioning. Despite this, I still give VersionTech five stars for their fantastic customer service! They shipped a new fan really away when I contacted them because it was covered by their guarantee. I was overjoyed to get the replacement one and used it with pleasure until the same minor issue reappeared. I was hesitant to get in touch with customer care again because I didn't want to bother them, but I did and they once more sent me a new fan. I make careful to never fold or unfold the unit while it is in use now that I am aware of the bug, and I have never experienced a problem since.I urge you to get this fan. Once you have one, you won't want to live without it because it's so fantastic. This tiny fan is so adorable! Here, the climate is hot and humid. The gloomy summer weather has me quite upset. For me, the fan is a lifesaver. It has incredible power and generates a forceful wind. It simply occupies a minimal amount of space on my work table due to its compact size. I sit so far away from the air conditioner that it is almost worthless to me. I brought a lot of D batteries because I figured the fan would exhaust them quickly (no fan could run for 8 hours, right?!). Although I first followed the instructions and set both fans to low, my wife quickly changed them to high. In the sweltering 95 degree heat of Florida, we were inside a pop-up tent for an event on a concrete street. We just forgot they were powered by batteries after a few hours, and strangers began to enter our tent and use our fan to take air ( ha ha ). We never switched the batteries, and by the time the event was over, I discovered that the crazy fans had been running nonstop for NINE HOURS. They are both faultless.These are obviously coming along with us from now on. I am incredibly impressed, made even more so by what occurred the next day. So when we got these units home, I removed the batteries and decided to place one next to my bed so that I could use it at night because it provided a pleasant wind. This fan was connected in.The storm that knocked out the electricity at 10 AM didn't stop this fan from running for five minutes. The fact that the batteries were dead yet the fan was still running perplexed me. I adore this item! I got it for my workers who are always lowering the air conditioning down. Now that I'm saving money on electricity, everyone is more at ease. It is very compact and easily fits on the desktops. We plug it right into our monitors, which have ports, because it is USB. So there is no need to find an additional outlet or a long cord. Surprisingly, there is wind. That's why I normally steer it away from my face. But they are so quiet that I don't hear them whether I'm working, talking to a client, or on the phone. The main drawback is that there is just one speed. But it never becomes a problem. In the rear office, I have a conventional table fan, but it is excessively powerful, loud, and heavy. These tiny fans are the perfect size for my desks at work. They also appear to be well manufactured. They should continue for a while.

As of now, so nice! In the summers in NorCal, I use this as the van fan when I go camping or sleep in a VW Weekender. Test runs in Yosemite and Sac were successful.Pros:whisper only! The background noise from outside is still audible (read: bears, critters, vermin, etc.)really thin and small design!wonderful for open office spacesA broad variety of solutions are available for USB power: laptop, auto adaptor, phone brick, portable USB station, and almost anything these days.Outdoors, solid up to 3 feet distant, and no cross breeze.Cons: The extremely sensitive power button may drive some OCD people crazy if they move it. You won't hear yourself switch off because of how silent it is.Even with a little more noise, one more gear up would be ideal.Don't tug on the power cable too hard because it is fastened to the appliance. It's not a deal breaker by any means, but I'd prefer it to be micro USB for additional setup and storage options. In reality, none of these are.Reality: You can feel the jet from up to 5 feet away when contained, but it needs to be pointed directly at you to be useful. I believe you should give this a try as long as you are not anticipating the love child of a tornado and an air conditioner.
