It does arrive wrapped up, so if it's coiled up before installation, make sure to straighten it down with something heavy to ensure that it will remain on. Update: Following my initial evaluation, the business contacted me and offered to provide me the revised, longer version. It's lot better now that I've received it. It fits my door and is substantial enough to hold itself in place without velcro. My cat is still using the second one as a toy and hasn't interfered with it yet. Using these when residing in our RV to stop a draft from the cab into the overcab sleeping space. There is a cold draft coming from the place where the pull-out bed was stored, which is directly over the cab, on cold nights. Then I cover the mattress with bedding after putting the insets on one side of the velvet case and tucking the remaining portion (without the foam insert) in the area where the draft enters. I'm not sure if the door guard or the boric acid powder is to blame because I haven't noticed any bugs since I began using it. In either case, closing the space will aid in keeping insects out.When I opened the item, I saw that one of the tubes' collars was DIRTY, thus I assume that the Twin Draft Guard I received was already used and repackaged (which is dissapointing since I was under the impression that I was purchasing a new, unused product). I was therefore quite hesitant here, although it appeared that the ASOTV brand had significantly worse reviews. Here is my assessment of it:Six short "tubes" make up Evelots, four of which have reinforcements on one end. Why? Of course, THE REINFORCED ENDS GO ON THE ENDS!
