Eight of these mounts have already been put on 55" and 65" TVs.What else could I possibly want from a TV mount? I have no idea.Key characteristics include:Without the TV, a single-piece long wall plate can be installed on the wall. The one-piece long wall plate comes with a cardboard template that makes it simple to plan out roughly where and what holes you will use to place it.One-piece long wall plate mounting screws are included.Once your TV is attached with the two brackets and supplied screws, you can simply pick up the TV and hang the brackets on the one-piece long wall plate. Those TV bracket brackets are secured to the wall plate by two tube clips and screws.so that you have the appropriate screws and spacers, a lot of extra hardwareThings to be wary of:Once installed, the One-piece long wall plate is too small to move the TV. Before mounting the long wall plate on the wall, it is preferable to loosen the six pivot bolts slightly—about a turn and a half on each. A Hex Key Wrench Set and an Open End Wrench Set are required for this (strange but true I found two different size nuts). Before installation, test how the plate feels when it is opened.Install the two brackets on your TV first, then measure from the bottom of the TV to the top of the hook on the bracket. It is simple to determine the height of the One-piece long wall plate using that measurement. I've seen that many individuals want the TV in their living rooms to be excessively high, which will strain their necks. I raise the TV's bottom 46 inches off the ground.A bedroom is unique due to the fact that you are lying in bed and occasionally have to gaze over someone with a too-tall tummy. I raise the bottom of the TV 56 inches from the ground (before installing, check for overhead clearance).Locate the wood studs that you want to use for the wall plate. Determine the location of the upper left lag screw and which two long holes are ideal for your studs using the cardboard template. Drill a pilot hole for the first lag screw, and then, with the upper left side of the wall plate attached, loosely tighten the lag screw with a washer. Place the wall plate using a level, drill the upper right hole, and fasten it with a second lag screw and washer. Recheck the level and the distance from the floor to the bottom of the TV (as planned). Set lag screws three and four in place. Secure all of the lag screws. Then Turn off TV, then connect TVThis can now be modified if, for some reason, the set is not level.Keep in mind that you can have unsightly exposed cables. To assist you in solving that issue, please read my reviews of the Datacomm 50-3338-WH-KIT Easy Mount Cable Organizer Kit and PORTER-CABLE 43218 3/16-Inch Piloted Down Spiral Drywall Cutout Bit.Good fortuneIt is simple to mount on wooden studs.Using 1/4" X 3-1/4" T-Anchors - For Hollow Cavity Applications, I mounted several to metal studs. If you use this item, you will need to add a lot of spacers or chase the threads further because they haven't been pursued far enough to allow you to tighten the screw. Additionally, you'll probably want to trim the excess thread once you tighten the screw.

TV IS STILL HANGING TIGHT as of *2/2018 Update! Even when I switched to a 50-inch TV, there were no problems. This TV mount deserves six stars, if I could! I never had a TV mount before since it seemed like a lot of work to drill holes in the wall and I wasn't sure I could trust my TV to be hanging on a mount. When I found this mount on sale for so much less than Best Buy was asking for something of lower quality, I made the decision to buy it. First off, I want to emphasize that this mount kit includes everything you could possibly need, even down to the spacers, in the box! Even though I'm a handyman, I was a little scared by everything in the box, but I made installing this mount (for a 32-inch TV through 1-1/2-inch dry wall) a weekend effort and succeeded in doing so in under 30 minutes. For a clean job, I did need to go out and purchase a 1/2 drill bit.Power drill, stud finder, appropriate drill bits to make your holes, and I personally utilized Snap Toggle bolts because I couldn't drill into the hefty metal studs used in my condo.Use at LEAST 4 Snap Toggle bolts to hold your television securely through at least an inch of drywall if you can't drill into your studs. This will ensure that you never run into problems. (Home Depot sells an upgraded 6 pack for $7; it's well worth it!)- If you wish to use the Hillman Snap Toggle bolts, I've included a picture of them. You may use cable ties to keep the cords appearing tidy, or you can drill through the wall to hide them (takes a few minutes). These bolts are designed to hold 80 pounds each, however I mounted a 32-inch television that only weighted 27 pounds. Please feel free to ask me any questions if you have any.

USX MOUNT Full Motion Swivel Articulating Tilt TV Wall Mount Bracket for 26-55" LED, OLED, 4K TVs-Fit for 32, 40, 50 TV with VESA Up to 400x400mm-Weight Capacity Up to 60lbs Review:

Instead of spending more money on less flexible wall mounts, I bought a pair of them to put the front main speakers for my 7.1 THX home theater system on the front walls. When I first built the theater ten years ago, I utilized a similar smaller mount for my smaller rear surround speakers (see 4th image). Recent water damage inside the outside front wall, among other things, caused by an unidentified slow leak in my ceiling necessitated considerable repair work and a lot of labor to restore it. Since I had always intended to do this, I seized the opportunity to implement several of my desired enhancements. After doing some research, I determined that these would work because they have a 150lb weight capacity. They should have no trouble supporting a 27-pound speaker, flat screen worked flawlessly! After mounting the wall attachment to the wall studs and using other bolts to secure the other end to the back of the speakers, these swing arms were very well equipped with all types of mounting hardware and were very simple to adapt to my needs. This improved the sound and aesthetics of the speaker setup and freed up floor space. My wife adores it because she has less to move, vacuum, etc., and they sound amazing! After three months of work, everything is almost finished. A little decoration and fine-tuning are still pending the arrival of the loveseat that goes with my newly purchased Ashley power reclining cinema chairs. I also adore this stuff. Anyhow, thank you for a fantastic product!

Mounting Dream Tilt TV Wall Mount Bracket for Most 37-70 Inches TVs, TV Mount with VESA up to 600x400mm, Fits 16", 18", 24" Studs and Loading Capacity 132 lbs, Low Profile and Space Saving MD2268-LK Review:

This TV mount is sturdy and simple to put together, in my opinion. Everything I required for installation was there (including easy to understand directions and tons of washers, screws and spacer options). A good power coat finish is present on the mount itself. It comes together quickly and simply. The kit includes washers, spacers, and screws in a variety of sizes to mount the arm brackets on your TV. It was easy for me to secure it to my 43" Vizio. You MUST USE YOUR OWN TRUSTED LEVEL, in my opinion. These kits' modest levels are unreliable since they are so small.Finding the studs and taking my measurements took the most time of the entire process. To mount the bracket, 4 reliable lag bolts were provided. The pull straps make it simple to attach and secure the TV after it is installed. Some people dislike how low the straps hang. They are significantly simpler to use than the other allen screw design, though you can tape them up if it's a major concern. The TV may be hung or removed in a matter of seconds. This mount can be adjusted a lot. Along with tilt, the TV may also be moved a short distance to the left or right, and the arm hangers can be adjusted for height. Another benefit is that I can use the extra hardware for upcoming house improvements.

PERLESMITH TV Wall Mount for Most 26-55 Inch TVs with Swivel & Extend 18.5 Inch - Wall Mount TV Bracket VESA 400x400 Fits LED, LCD, OLED Flat Screen TVs Up to 88 lbs - with HDMI Cable, Bubble Level Review:

We have become spoiled by TV mounts that let you attach the wall bracket and TV bracket independently, therefore I'm going to have to give this a 4. This is definitely not a one-person job!All of our TV mounts allow you to mount the tv with one part, hang the other part on the wall, and slide the tv section onto the wall portion. Similar to how a door hinge operates, with half on the door and half on the wall. When constructed in such fashion, hanging a television is a one-person job as long as they are able to support the weight of the television while inserting the television bracket into the wall bracket. This one requires two people to mount since you have to hold the television up to the mount and then carefully screw the television's bracket into the bracket for the wall mount. It can be done by one person, but two individuals working together makes it much simpler and safer for the television. One is supporting the TV while the other is fastening everything. We decided to transfer the weight of our 55" television across two wall studs using the 2x4 board approach. There are instructions provided on how to place the television on the board and fasten it to the wall.Yes, we do suggest this TV mount. It is lovely and reliable. Now that installation is complete, we absolutely like it!Hopefully, our evaluation was useful to you.

Tilting TV Wall Mount Bracket Low Profile for Most 23-55 Inch LED, LCD, OLED, Plasma Flat Screen TVs with VESA 400x400mm Weight up to 115lbs by PERLESMITH Review:

Amazing mount! With it, I hung a 46" Samsung TV. There's really no way to screw up the installation. There are basically three parts. You screw two of them vertically to the TV and the other plate horizontally against your wall. After that, just snap the horizontal component together and set the TV on it.You must be cautious when screwing into the wall. This has less to do with the wall mount and more to do with the materials of your walls. It's very simple if you have two wood studs that the horizontal component can screw into. But I only had a single metal stud in my situation. To screw into the middle of the plate, I needed other screws (self-tapping fine thread ones). I placed several wall anchors into the sidewalls to strengthen its stability. The more screws, the better, although it's also uglier, and maybe by the time you have to remove the mount, you'll have moved out.The profile of the wall mount is extremely thin. The TV's back and the wall are separated by less than two inches. Actually, it's a little challenging to enter objects into the HDMI and USB interfaces using my fingers. But it functions as intended. I love how it looks against my wall!

VideoSecu ML531BE TV Wall Mount for Most 27-55 LED LCD Plasma Flat Screen Monitor up to 88lbs VESA 400x400 with 20 inch Extension Arm, HDMI Cable Bubble Level WP5 Review:

I used to professionally install TVs for clients, so I have experience with a wide range of mounting techniques. I was seeking for a trustworthy, affordable way to hang a 50 "a 50-inch LCD TV from LG. I considered a number of possibilities before deciding on this one, both on Amazon and elsewhere. I am content I did!A double-sided spanner wrench, a very fine magnetic level, a full range of screws, bolts, and washers—all nicely packaged and labeled—as well as a 10' HDMI cable are all included. For larger TVs, the instructions advise using the "optional" extension kit. This usually means "kit not included." That was not the case here, much to my happy surprise. The "optional" kit was actually included for once!I didn't need the instructions because I already understood how to install it, but for those who need, I thought they were rather simple to understand. It can be confusing to try out all the different expansion arm configurations, but you should just do that until you discover the one that works best for your TV.Please take note.I strongly advise making one tweak to the instructions, though. As per the directions, drill a 7/32 "For each mounting bolt, drill a pilot hole in the stud. The bolt should then be tightened with a phillips head screwdriver. I used the recommended pilot hole when I first mounted this (I ended up repositioning it shortly after). Yes, the screw threaded in quite easily—perhaps a touch too effortlessly. Even though I wasn't applying much force to the screwdriver, the second hole from the top really stripped out. I made the decision to use a smaller pilot bit when I moved this to the other side of the room. These bolts won't move if you do it this way, even though you'll require a 10mm socket and can't thread the bolt in with a screwdriver. A 13/64 would probably be sufficient ", but I would want as much bite as I could get to truly safeguard your pricey TV!Additionally, I discovered that one of the washers' interior diameters was just slightly too small for the bolt to pass through. I just extended it with a round needle file, but since they don't include any extras, you'll need to buy one if you don't already have a file or an extra washer. Just thought I'd mention that for the sake of being completely honest. After it was fitted, I was amazed by both the robustness and the full range of motion. This is explained in detail. Pretty about anyplace you choose, you can set your TV. Although you can tilt your TV to a certain extent, it cannot be moved up or down.

AmazonBasics Heavy-Duty, Full Motion Articulating TV Wall Mount for 22-inch to 55-inch LED, LCD, Flat Screen TVs Review:

Despite my Samsung 50-inch 4K UHDTV having a conventional 400 x 400 VESA pattern, I must admit that this mount has been very sturdy (UN50KU6300 to be exact).Benefits include the ability to use it on just one stud if necessary and the fact that it is half as expensive and offers full tilt and motion compared to alternatives from competitors.-Very adaptable, with a variety of screws and spacers included, it should fit nearly anything within its size range.Cons: -Slightly cryptic or unclear directions. With the instructions, Amazon appears to have taken a rather Ikea-inspired approach. The various diagrams were hardly described in words, and it was difficult to tell which screws went with particular mounting styles.-There is no information about particular TV brands. To avoid having to guess and try various combinations over and over again, it would have been very helpful if Amazon had included anything like a reference to the most typical screws/spacer combinations for the major TV brands or sizes.-Cable management appears to have been a last-minute addition. All they offered was a tiny u-shaped piece of plastic that I presume was meant to wrap around all your cords and dangle there?Overall, I can't really complain because I only paid $20 for this mount, but I must admit that given that it was created by Amazon, I had hoped for a simpler setup process. This is not a bad alternative if you were searching for something inexpensive and you want to limit the damage to your walls, just be ready to spend twice as much time as you think it should!:)

Everstone Tilt TV Wall Mount Bracket for Most 32-80 Inch LED,LCD,OLED,Plasma Flat Screen,Curved TVs,Low Profile,Up To VESA 600 x 400 and 165 LBS,Includes HDMI Cable and Level,Fits 16",18",24"Studs Review:

This is a fantastic product. includes a small level and an HDMI wire. I don't even need either, but my kid like the level (it includes blue bubbles). In any case, I have installed 15 or 20 televisions on walls. Usually use Sanus or ONN mounts from Walmart or Best Buy. Over the past few years, their prices have all decreased. Depending on the size of the TV, it used to cost between $60 and $100. And as for the one review that contains a complaint (along with a picture), it says something along the lines of "cheap plastic anchors pierced 3/8th inch holes per derections." He now needs to buy new bolts and rip out the anchors. If you get this, you won't be dissatisfied. All he had to do was use the washers or spacers from T9 or T10 (shown in photo of supplied hardware). I neglected to mention Figure 1. What a great touch those tiny keyring-like objects on strings are. If you are accustomed with wall mounting TVs and need to make a small modification, pull the TV back off (of course, they will be hidden after the final install). You will then be aware of how challenging it is to reach the little levers. With this one, all you have to do is pull the keyring-like objects. excellent great touch

Full Motion TV Wall Mount Bracket Dual Articulating Arms Swivels Tilts Rotation for Most 37-70 Inch LED, LCD, OLED Flat&Curved TVs, Holds up to 132lbs, Max VESA 600x400mm by Pipishell Review:

Therefore, the first picture in my gallery shows the TV as close to the wall as it may be. If it isn't obvious, it is only a few inches away from the wall. The size of your TV would determine this, but it is close by and well-kept.The TV is pulled out in the second image, which you can see. I could have gotten it closer to the wall by a few more inches, but this is probably just about 12". This is great if you need to go back there to connect other devices or just want your TV closer. The mount is, by the way, incredibly sturdy. If you adhere to the logic and instructions, you will be mounting into studs and your TV will be secure. The following image shows the sight from behind. You can see how simple returning there is and how much mobility the mount has.The tilt shot is the last one. However, as you can see on a flat wall, this thing spins a TON. Depending on the size of your TV, you might be able to tilt other TVs more or less than in this picture. This is advantageous for me since, as you can see in the TV's reflection, a door is there, and I normally BBQ outside of that door, so I can watch TV while grilling. Oh, and the kitchen is a little bit further to the right; hence, I cook and observe.I've mounted a few TVs in my time, and this mount was as easy to install as any of them. It took us no more than 20 minutes total, with the most of that time spent determining the best location for the mount. For an upstairs TV, I'll be purchasing another one of them.

How do I hide the wires from my wall mounted TV?

There are a few ways to hide the wires from your wall mounted TV. You can use cord covers to hide the cables along the wall. You can also use wire management systems to tuck the cables away behind the TV. Finally, you can use furniture to cover up the cords.

How do I know if my TV has VESA mounting holes?

The VESA Mounting Interface Standard (MIS) defines the distance in millimeters between the four screw holes used to mount a flat panel display, television, monitor or other device to a stand, wall mount or other support structure. To determine if your TV has VESA mounting holes, measure the distance between the four holes on the back of the TV. If the distance is 75mm x 75mm or 100mm x 100mm, then your TV has VESA mounting holes and can be mounted using a VESA mount.

How do I know what TV mount to buy?

When it comes to choosing a TV mount, the options can be overwhelming. But a few key factors will help you narrow down the choices and find the right mount for your TV. First, consider the size of your TV. Make sure to measure the width and height of your TV, and then compare those dimensions to the mount’s specifications. Next, take a look at where you want to mount your TV. If you’re mounting it on a wall, you’ll need to make sure the mount is compatible with that type of surface.

How do you determine TV mount size?

There are a few things to consider when determining TV mount size. First, measure the width and height of your TV. Next, consider the weight of your TV. Most TV mounts have a weight limit, so you'll want to make sure your TV is within that limit. Finally, think about how you want to mount your TV. Some mounts allow you to tilt or swivel your TV, so you'll want to make sure the mount you choose has that capability.

How far should you sit from a 65 inch TV?

The recommended viewing distance for a 65" TV is between 8 and 12 feet. This means that if you are sitting any closer than 8 feet, you may start to see the pixels on the screen. Sitting any further than 12 feet away will make it difficult to see all the details on the screen.
