White Truffle Oil by D'Allesandro - 8 Oz Bottle Review:

The reviews on this site range from 1 star to 5, with the 1 star comments complaining that the flavor isn't strong enough or saying that it isn't authentic because it contains olive oil. I wasn't sure what to anticipate. I did some research online and discovered that the "carrier" oil for the truffle flavor, which is derived from shaved truffles, is typical. Although the label on this bottle clearly states "natural and artificial flavor," who cares? I'm fine with that because this bottle normally costs $33 and is only available here for $10.40. I trusted another reviewer's claim that this is the brand served at the high-end restaurant where he works. O.M. GEEEEE! This is Ah-Ma-Zinnnng thing! It smelt so amazing when it arrived, and even though I had purchased it for a mushroom risotto recipe, I couldn't wait to sample it over some plain rice. Oh my god I'm not sure if I can eat rice without this thing anymore! I don't know what to respond to those who claimed the flavor was subpar. It was sufficient to drizzle just 1.5 teaspoons over a double batch of rice. When this bottle runs out, I'll most definitely purchase more.

Italian White Truffle Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 3.4 Oz - by Urbani Truffles. Organic Truffle Oil 100% Made In Italy Without Chemicals And With Real Truffle Pieces Inside The Bottle. No Artificial Aroma Review:

I was a sous chef at a renowned now-defunct restaurant in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Paul Urbani was a good friend of mine and the Executive Chef. Why would anyone in their right mind expect me to mention anything bad about Urbani Family products when we used to regularly receive shipments of White Truffles (when in season)? I received an Urbani white truffle from my chef friend to give to my grandmother for her 90th birthday. She has ties to family in Eastern Europe and was ecstatic beyond words to receive this gift. I want to express my gratitude to the entire Urbani family for making everyone who appreciates fine cuisine happy.

TruffleHunter Truffle Oil Selection Gift Set - White, English & Black Truffle Oil (3 x 3.38 Oz) Real Truffle Pieces in Bottle Olive Oil Gourmet Food Seasoning - Vegetarian Vegan Gluten & Kosher Free Review:

Although you receive 3, the bottles are smaller than I had anticipated. I've previously paid less for truffle oils from a high-end store, but I've observed that the TruffleHunter Oils are stronger in flavour. When I put a tiny sprinkle to pan-fired fish, the flavour took on a whole new level. I also put a few drops to a pan-fried rib-eye; once more, it was amazing and produced a steak that was more flavorful and complex. The pouring spout is a little bigger than necessary, making it nearly impossible to dispense a few drops. Additionally, the spout will cause some oil to drip down the bottle's side.

TruffleHunter White Truffle Oil (Tuber Borchii) Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil (3.38 Oz) Seasoning Gourmet Food Condiments Salad Dressing - Vegan, Kosher, Vegetarian & Gluten Free Review:

I enjoy the many ingredients that are shown in the cooking shows that I watch frequently. Though it was a little too expensive for testing, I was interested when I noticed a program that used truffle mushrooms. I believe Lays was pushing a new taste profile for their chips, and a truffle chip was one of the profiles. I got it because I liked the flavor. Since then, they have stopped selling the item (boo-hoo.) In any case, I spotted some truffle oil and it was within my price range. I just received it today, and though I haven't used it yet, I have already tasted it, and wow! was fantastic! I'm so excited to test it tomorrow on my freshly popped popcorn; I could seriously drink this stuff! So far, so goodFrom Cleveland, Ohio, Betty

Selezione Tartufi Black Truffle Salt 10%, 3.5 Ounce Unit Review:

After tasting this truffle salt, I think perhaps I should have only written off the brand rather than pronouncing truffles to be overrated as I had been persuaded by the truffle popcorn I had bought years earlier to be dull.I've only ever cooked with this truffle salt, so I don't have any other brands to compare it to. But in my experience, there are plenty of truffle flecks dispersed throughout, and the salt to truffle ratio is ideal. The truffle aroma was potent but not overbearing when I used the truffle salt with fries or grilled meat and shellfish, and I didn't need to add additional salt for flavor. If you take into account how much salt you can use at once, it's not that expensive. Before using, I'd advise swirling it to combine it because shaking the bottle separates the salt from the lighter salt and the lighter mushroom pieces.

Black Truffle Oil 8.8 FL Oz Review:

Seriously, this truffle oil is wonderful. Delivery was prompt; it arrived in the mail three to four days earlier than anticipated. This is something I've used for a variety of things, from truffle salted fries to unsalted popcorn to simply adding a dash to my cream-based soups. Since you only need a tiny bit in whatever you use it with, the oil lasts for a very long time and is definitely worth the money. I've used this oil in recipes that call for white truffle, despite the fact that black and white truffles have different flavor characteristics. It still tastes great. Be warned that this is only olive oil with a truffle mixed in; I'll be honest and say that when I originally purchased the oil, I assumed I would receive a genuine truffle oil. Nevertheless, this doesn't seem to diminish the flavor, which is still fairly potent. As soon as this batch runs out, I will without a doubt restock.

Mantova Grand Aroma Truffle Delight Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 8.5 Ounce - Finishing Oil with Black Truffle Review:

I'm in love with this truffle oil. I add it to my tomato soup and sprinkle it over popcorn. This product has a strong truffle flavor (I'm fine with truffle products having a truffle fragrance to build up that profile). A small amount of truffle is present at the bottle's bottom, which is a wonderful touch.I used to purchase the substantially less expensive truffle oil from Trader Joe's. Since this product has a better flavor profile and is more difficult to find year-round (Trader Joe's only sells seasonal items), I prefer it over that one.I have given this product's recommendations to friends and family who try the recipes I use this product in.Not a cooking oil, this is a finishing oil. If you cook this at a high temperature, the truffle flavor will disappear. I use it as a finishing drizzle over finished dishes.

TruffleHunter Black & White Truffle Oil Set Double Concentrate Real Truffle Pieces - (2 x 8.45 Oz) Olive Oil Gourmet Food Seasoning Marinade Salad Dressing - Vegan Vegetarian Kosher & Gluten Free Review:

My husband and I just started to appreciate the flavor of truffle after a vacation to Tuscany. We were hunting for the truffle oil in the US after using up the Italian oil we had brought. Based on the positive ratings, we chose to purchase this set. After trying both of them, we concluded that the flavor was overpowering and dissimilar to the one we had in Italy. When we contacted customer service, they advised us to mix their product with high-quality extra virgin olive oil (they were fantastic and swiftly responded, and we were really satisfied). We implemented a 1:1 ratio as a result of their recommendation, and the results were remarkable. It now closely resembles the ones we had in Italy. In other words, if you initially dislike this product or feel that it is too potent for your taste, consider diluting it. You may be shocked! Diluting it will extend the life of our set and increase its value for us.

TruffleHunter White Truffle Oil Double Concentrate - Real Truffle Pieces in Bottle Olive Oil (8.45 Oz) - Gourmet Food Seasoning Marinade Garnish Salad Dressing - Kosher Vegan Vegetarian & Gluten Free Review:

This is a great "everyday driver" out of all the white truffle oils I've tried, regardless of price (for me). LOL, my hubby refers to it as "catnip" for people. I'm well aware that many chefs in the industry consider the concept of truffle "oil" to be ridiculous, but who cares? I enjoy it! I sprinkle it over whatever I think will go well with it, including grilled cheese, meatloaf sandwiches, avocado/grapefruit salad, sweet potato fries, and everything else! There isn't much room for gray, in my opinion—you either love truffle oil or you detest it. This one has the ideal amount of flavor and fragrance pungency (for my uses). I personally haven't noticed any leaking from the packaging, and it comes in a very "handsome" but durable box that is obviously made for protection. (As a side note, their White Truffle Honey is fantastic. Try it out!!) Very happy to have discovered this business and will keep buying. Cheers!

TruffleHunter Black Truffle Slices Carpaccio (2.82 Oz) Preserved in Extra Virgin Olive Oil Black Summer European Sliced Truffles (Tuber Aestivum) Gourmet Food Condiments Seasoning Review:

Okay, since I discovered these, I am DONE purchasing truffle butter and truffle oil! You can make your own exquisite truffle butter (at a fraction of the cost of any pre-made, and with Prime shipping! ), by finely chopping the truffles, mixing them with high-quality butter, and letting the mixture soften at room temperature. And in doing so, you may customize the "strength" of your truffle butter to suit your tastes. To use this technique, we often mince an entire jar with 1 to 2 pounds of softened butter. After that, we restructure frozen chunks of our own truffle butter to use as needed. As everyone who has cooked with truffles knows, a little bit goes a long way, so they last for many, many months. Additionally, we keep as much of the truffle-flavored oil that is still in the container for use in future dishes. Additionally, if you want to add a delicious truffle punch to your dishes, you may just leave the sliced truffles alone.Truffle hunting with our dogs under the roots of our own old pecan trees would be the only thing I can think of to make it simpler for us. These are our go-to until then!
