I simply undid the two screws on each rail, slid the old ones out, cut new ones in the same form as the old ones, slid the new ones in, and screwed them down, then I completed this run-on sentence. I couldn't be happier with the purchase given the price and fit and quality. One thing about my 2008 Wrangler that I didn't understand is that the vent hole is open through half of the Jeep grill cutout. It was split evenly between nothingness and color. Simple solution: get a Walmart cookie sheet for $1.77, cut a square off it, and sandwich it between the license plate and tailgate. The vehicle now looks much nicer. As a third brake light, some waterproof LED strips were also wired behind the vent openings. Would certainly recommend, even with the additional work to improve the appearance.

My 2012 Dodge RAM was able to use this. Do not immediately begin to attach this to the truck. If you can close off the bed with a tonneau or cap, do so and check for light entering the bed to determine the size and location of the gaps. In other cases, installing the weatherstripping on a different surface is necessary to successfully close the gap. The weatherstripping would have required to be one inch thick if I had installed it where the general installation guidelines seemed to recommend. Examine it. Test-fitting it Then consider removing the adhesive's lid. I managed to keep the fine dust away from my tools in the bed of my vehicle with a little forethought.For half the cost, 10 feet of basic D weather stripping might work. This product's triple beads may be more effective at preventing dust entry. I didn't conduct any comparisons.

In order to ensure good adhesion, I used a rubber hammer.NEWS 4/30/15: The Roc Block, which is currently outside in the snow, has made it through a bitterly cold Michigan winter without suffering any damage. Still flexible and soft. I continue to adore this stuff.On a related point, I discovered last fall that the Roc Block's seal is so effective that rainwater wouldn't drain out the tail gate. The front of the bed's drain holes frequently get plugged as I park outdoors, which was a problem. To create a little opening for the water to exit as I take off, I carefully cut a half circle at either end of the Roc Block with the tailgate down.
