HFT 1/2 Ton Capacity Pickup Truck Crane Review:

I retrieved my fifth wheel hitch from the rear of my truck using my crane. This gives me complete access to my truck's bed. It takes some effort to remove and install the hitch because it weighs roughly 160 pounds. To remove it, normally two guys are needed. I was looking for a single-person method of removal and replacement. Aside from relieving the tension on our backs, I completed the transfer by successfully removing it and placing it on a trolley. No arching the back. Definitely worth the cost.

Goplus 2 TON Engine Hoist Cherry Picker Shop Crane Lift Black Review:

Works well, but the assembly design is not to my taste. The upper hinge and the lower piston mount both have a lot of motion. Is there something I missed during assembly? To pick up the slack, I'm going to insert several thick washers. Or perhaps that's the reason I received so many washers? You can watch my timelapse of me putting the hoist together below! (3 minutes approximately)

Dragway Tools 2 Ton Folding Air Hydraulic Engine Hoist Cherry Picker Shop Crane Hoist Lift Review:

A vintage gas engine that I recently moved from the West Coast. I was terrified by the cheap, weak engine hoist we used to load it. To unload the engine once I got it home, I realized I needed the engine hoist, which I had been seeking. The old engine weighs a little bit less than the 1000# maximum capacity of this hoist. When I got home, I put the hoist together and positioned it so I could remove the engine from the U-Haul trailer. The engine was easily lifted by the hoist, which was able to roll with the engine hung when the boom was fully extended. Although I haven't tried using air to run the hoist, the manual pump works flawlessly. I don't think this engine hoist has any issues. I'm happy I purchased it.

MaxxHaul 70238 Receiver Hitch Mounted Crane - 1000 lbs. Capacity Review:

Problem: I need to use my Generac 8000E generator to power lights in the church parking lot for a "trunk or treat" event. It is 255 lbs. heavy. To get it to church, I need to load it onto my wife's GMC Sierra 2500 HD, then unload it. the MaxxHaul 70238 Receiver Hitch Mounted Crane, which has a lifting capacity of 500 pounds at the crane's end and 1,000 pounds near to the hydraulic jack. UPS delivered the Amazon order in two days. Took around an hour to build after being removed from the damaged delivery box. Although there were little instructions, the images helped put everything together. There were one additional lock pin and hitch pin, and no parts were missing. After assembly, I attached two axle straps to the generator's frame, hoisted it up with the crane, and set it down on the truck's tailgate. The MaxxHaul crane was disassembled into three sections and put in the truck bed along with the genny, which was rolled into the bed and secured with straps. I drove to church, put the crane back together in about two minutes, and then took the generator out of the truck. Two young men loaded the genny onto the vehicle for me after the event. I brought the crane home, put it together again (it only took a minute this time, practice makes perfect), pulled the generator out of the truck, disassembled it into its three major components, and put it away in the garage in preparation for the next lifting task. Additionally, this will be helpful for loading the pressure washer and the fifth wheel sliding hitch, both of which are too heavy for this elderly man to load and unload by himself. This crane's presence opens up a lot of opportunities.

VIVOHOME Heavy Duty Steel 2 Ton Engine Hoist Load Leveler with 2 Chains 4000 lbs Review:

The product performed as expected, although it can be difficult to find little sections of chain that won't fit V-8 engines. To make it work, I had to go to the hardware store and pay an additional $30. Really, no adaptor plates, only chain pieces? A poorly built handle spins off in the middle of the adjustment. Okay if patient and unhurried. However, if I were to do it over, I would choose a better product.
