Are travel packing cubes worth it?

If you travel frequently, you know the pain of packing and unpacking your suitcase. Clothes get wrinkled, toiletries spill and it's generally a mess. Travel packing cubes can help to alleviate some of this stress. Packing cubes are small, lightweight bags that help you organize your suitcase. You can use them to separate your clothes by outfit, or by type. For example, you could have a packing cube for shirts, another for pants and another for underwear. This makes it easy to find what you're looking for, and also prevents your clothes from getting wrinkled

Do packing cubes make a difference?

Packing cubes can make a world of difference when it comes to packing for a trip. Not only do they keep your clothes organized, but they also help to compress them so you can fit more into your suitcase. They're a great way to save space and keep your clothes wrinkle-free.

Bagail 6 Set Packing Cubes,3 Various Sizes Travel Luggage Packing Organizers Review:

They're excellent! My bag is much more organized because to the material's ease of cleaning. In order to keep track of everything, I used to go to the bother of piling my clothes in my rucksack from last to first, then had to put all my undergarments and socks in a separate pocket. If I had clothes that I had worn once and intended to wear again, I would have to throw them back in with the clean clothes, and by the time the journey was over, everything from traveling from point A to point B was jumbled up. Now that I have "little suitcases" that I can easily pull out, I am able to identify which one has my socks and underwear, slacks, and shirts. Unworn clothing is placed in a different packing cube, and dirty clothes are kept apart from clean ones. They aren't as deep as I had anticipated, but it sort of works out and tells you how much room you still have. Furthermore, even if it appears that there is not enough room, you may overfill it and it will still zip up very quickly. It's similar to WINRAR alerting you that your free trial has expired but still allowing you to use the program.I also really like how brilliant blue it is!

Shacke Pak - 4 Set Packing Cubes - Travel Organizers with Laundry Bag Review:

Excellent zipper quality and longevity. A well-built product.- Solid seamsLightweight - Open netting design makes contents visible and compression simple- Beautiful but straightforward colors and design- Comfy zipper handles4 packing cubes for the price of many rivals' offerings. - Comes with sack to hold all the packing cubes and doubles as a travel wash bag. 3- Top-notch customer supportThe plastic spring cord lock on the bag that holds all the packing cubes (I used the bag as a "dirty laundry bag") broke after a month of use. Cons: - Nothing major at the moment, but I am starting to notice after a few months of use that some of the seams appear to be stretching a little too far and am concerned that it may tear after a while. My Own ExperienceWhen you asked me a year ago if I would ever use packing cubes, I would have scoffed at you and said it was absurd to try to conserve packing space by utilizing cube-shaped packing cubes. Now, I'm convinced!I will never again pack without using packing cubes. In addition to helping me pack more efficiently (underwear, socks, and pajamas go in one; shirts and pants go in another, etc.), packing cubes allow you to fit a lot more items into a small space than you might have otherwise been able to. Since packing cubes are already so lightweight, they don't significantly increase the weight of your suitcase. Additionally, I just remove my packing cubes from my duffel bag or luggage for longer travels so they can function as drawers for all of my travel necessities.I discussed why I believe Shacke Pak is usually superior than other brands in my "Pros" section with regard to this brand in particular. One packing cube in particular had a problem with the zipper, which led to the zipper handle snapping too soon. When I contacted Shacke Pak, customer support quickly and painlessly issued me a replacement packing cube. The level of customer service has above my expectations, and I feel reasonably certain that they will continue to look out for their clients in the future.**Update** I also have two sets of eBags packing cubes, and I've had the chance to directly compare them to Shacke Pak (you may see my other reviews). Since both brands provide excellent packing cubes, neither option will leave you unsatisfied. To be fussy, however, I'll mention a few things I noticed:- Shacke Pak employs a matte-finish material as opposed to eBags' more sparkly honeycomb structure. The eBags material has virtually little give, but the Shacke Pak material stretches just a little bit. The material used by eBags appears to be significantly more durable as a result, although Shacke Pak appears to be slightly more upscale.- Shacke Pak uses concealed stitching beneath the zippers, while eBags often employs a double stitched design. Since I've had the Shacke Pak packing cubes for a little over a year, I've noticed that when I pack the cubes tightly, the stitching that was previously covered beneath the zipper pulls out a little more and actually becomes visible. This worries me a little and makes me wonder about the long-term durability, in contrast to the double stitched design of the eBags, which appears to hold up well no matter how tightly I pack the cubes.- You can carry more since Shacke Pak packing cubes have a.75" to 1" deeper depth.- After a month, the zipper pull handle on one of my Shacke Pak packing cubes—not the actual zipper—fell off. Shacke Pak responded quickly to my request for assistance by sending me a brand-new packing cube. Although Shacke Pak provided amazing customer service, I am a little worried that something like that could have happened that rapidly in the first place. My two sets of Shacke Pak packing cubes have worked perfectly without any problems since then. In the six months that I have owned them, I have not experienced any problems with the zippers or zipper handles on my eBags. Shacke Pak packing cubes offer 4 for roughly the price of 3 from eBags. Additionally, Shacke Pak includes a pouch with the packing cubes that can be utilized when traveling as a convenient place to store soiled clothes. Shacke Pak seems to offer a little bit more value for your money.- Since they both employ YKK zippers, the zipper quality for both is outstanding.Overall: Both brands are good choices, and one has a little edge over the other in a few specific instances. In my opinion, Shacke Pak is somewhat more appealing and offers a little bit more value for your money than eBags, which I believe to be slightly more durable. Conclusion:You simply can't go wrong with the Shacke Pak set if you're looking for a set of sturdy and high-quality packing cubes for travel. The cost is fair, and you receive four packing cubes for what most competitors charge for three. Shacke Pak has already proven to me that they offer good customer care, and I have not experienced any significant problems with quality or longevity (I travel and use these frequently). Among the packing cube sets available, I believe the Shacke Pak set has one of the most fashionable looks.**A photo of one of my packing cubes that has been severely packed demonstrates what I mean about the hidden stitching being stretched and exposed. This worries me a little.

YAMIU Packing Cubes 7-Pcs Travel Organizer Accessories with Shoe Bag & 2 Toiletry Bags(Black) Review:

I've been somewhat arrogant about my ability to pack a carry-on for any situation for years. Europe, two weeks, both casual and formal attire, tour guides (back when cell phones lacked international coverage), multiple stops, one hot and one cold climate, space for gifts, etc. I roll, bundle, and save money. I used to avoid packing cubes because I didn't see the sense in giving up even a small amount of room, but this year I gave them a try on a lengthy journey that had several stops and several temperatures.WOW!Never again leave home without these!I did a lot of research and was a little dubious about the YaMiu because they offered more for less money, but I still decided to get them.adore them Love the two-pull, robust, lightweight nylon zippers that allow me to zip all the way to the middle. Never be uncertain about which side to pull in one) and handles for simple entry and exit. I like how each bag's mesh see-through top lets you see what's inside. I like the range of sizes. admiring the shoe bag. The two clear plastic bags are wonderful for storing both wet and dry toiletries. Even the poly bag that the set was packaged in is used for laundry by me. Bonus! My husband absolutely adores them, and he travels frequently for work. So effective at keeping things apart. To find the bottom-most pair of pants, all you need to do is lift out the cube containing your pajamas, socks, and shirts.I guess you know what you're receiving for Christmas if any of my family members are reading this review.Regards, YaMiu!Family members who received them for Christmas are already reporting back, and they have nothing but positive things to say! You can access your formal clothes without actually "unpacking" by moving your pajamas or workout attire. They function as fantastic drawers for your travel bag.

BAGAIL 4 Set Packing Cubes,Travel Luggage Packing Organizers with Laundry Bag Review:

These tiny bags saved my life because I was going on a two-week trip to Europe and didn't want to take a chance on losing my luggage. I, who is notorious for overpacking, managed to fit two weeks' worth of cumbersome winter attire and formal gowns on a lavish European cruise IN A CARRY-ON! Even our Uber driver looked at me strangely when I informed him about our travel intentions. My mother and husband were ASTONISHED that I could travel so light. Again, I'm the one that packs a huge suitcase full of tiny bikinis and takes a week-long vacation to Hawaii.I'll admit that making ensuring items fit well in a carry-on takes some planning and even a little Tetris. Without the suction, they function similarly to vacuum bags. Be clever when folding; I was able to fit more by rolling many of my thinner sweaters, pajamas, and t-shirts than by simply folding them squarely. In order to avoid having to worry about carrying my parka, I made sure to wear it on the plane (we traveled from DC to Europe in November). Since American appliances are not permitted on the ship, I didn't pack a hair dryer or curling iron, although they did have both in our rooms. Congratulations to Ama Waterways! The bag or cubes are strong, flexible, and stretchy enough to hold heavy garments. I'm impressed the zippers held up under the pressure from everything I could cram inside of them—good construction!I've already purchased extra sets to give to all of my overpacker friends and family. Get them right now; they truly make a difference.

Veken 6 Set Packing Cubes, Travel Luggage Organizers with Laundry Bag & Shoe Bag Review:

I was thrilled to receive these in the mail because I am leaving for Hawaii in a week and have been wanting to purchase a set of packing cubes for some time. I wasn't even sure I could fill all the packs with my things for my vacation; I was actually very astonished by what I got for about $20. The directions provide advice on how to fold your clothes for better packing, which is great, but I've found that, at least in my experience, rolling your clothes as small as possible works best. The packing cubes' ability to help me keep my possessions organized in my bag is what I like about them the most, which is probably why they were created. Strong zippers and viewing windows let you see what is packed inside these well-made packing cubes. You won't regret ordering a set of these Veken packing cubes if you have an upcoming trip planned but detest packing.

Men's Travel Toiletry Organizer Bag Canvas Shaving Dopp Kit TSA Approved (Black) Review:

I wasn't sure what to anticipate, but I'm pleased with what I got. It has a great mature appearance. It has a zipper pocket on one side of the interior. Two mesh pockets and three conventional pockets are located on the other side. On the outside, it contains two zippered pockets, one on each side. I like how there are two distinct, huge portions, and the material has a good feel to it. Although I am unsure of how long it will last, I am content thus far! The internal lining may not be the best for spills, which is the sole drawback. Be careful that the lining is not the wipeable plastic found in some toiletry bags if you use this as a toiletry bag and have dampness or leaks. You couldn't tell from my pictures or video, but it can also expand well, just like the seller shown in the pics of the goods.

JJ POWER Travel Packing Cubes, Luggage Organizers with Shoe Bag Review:

Update: These are fantastic! I could put EVERYTHING I needed for a seven-day cruise into ONE big cube. I had at least six blouses, one pair of slacks, four pairs of capris, and a pair of shorts. Another enormous cube included three sets of pajamas, two bathing suits (which are thick like gowns), and a sweater-style cover-up (tops and pants). Four bras filled a tiny container that bulged, but they still fit! Another tiny cube contains socks and underwear. The garment was all wrapped up. With room to spare, two pairs of shoes fit comfortably in the shoe bag. I purchased two sets of shoes for kids. The large was large enough to hold eight whole kid outfits (shorts, tops, underwear, socks, and two pairs of jeans). I used a medium to hold all of my wires, books, binoculars, and other random objects. In the cramped cabin, these functioned ABSOLUTELY well. There were only closets; no drawers. It kept everything accessible and properly arranged. I'm really satisfied with my buy! Zippers performed flawlessly throughout. I don't know how I managed without them earlier! highly advisableI bought these (original post) for a cruise. Due to how much I enjoyed them, I actually purchased a second set. I found the larger and medium cubes to be more practical than the smaller ones. And my fave is the shoe bag! I really chose to buy this set over the others because of that. After a week of use, I'll see how they hold up.

TravelWise Packing Cube System - Durable 5 Piece Weekender+ Luggage Organizer Set Review:

I don't tend to be extremely organized. I aspire to be that way continually, though, and I adore anything that keeps me tidy and organized. Keep me as sane as you can with a toddler and furthermore! When my family was getting ready to board a plane for a trip in Palm Springs, California, I discovered these TravelWise packing cubes a few weeks ago. Because I was dubious, I simply ordered my own set for the trip. I contrasted a number of different packing cubes based on the cost, quantity, diversity of sizes, and colors. Because TravelWise offers five bags of various sizes and I loved the purple color option, I went with them. When I discovered how organized and simple it was to pack my suitcase, I was in shock. I gently placed everything into my suitcase by rolling it up into each cube. The finest part of the trip was how well-prepared I was. The night before we leave for home, my bag usually turns out to be a disaster, and I have to essentially start over. I didn't this time around! My sister, who was dreading having to pack up her entire family's baggage before leaving, thought they were beautiful when I showed them to her. She purchased three sets—one for each member of her family—and I added two more for my husband and son as well as myself. The week before we depart for Maui, my son's suitcase is already prepared. You may rest easy knowing that these packing cubes will make your life a little bit simpler. As a mother of a young kid, I also don't want to deal with my son's bag including a mix-up of small clothing items (in fact, these packing cubes make it simpler for my 2.5-year-old to stay out of the suitcases! He has a propensity to ruin things!)I was concerned about the bags' quality construction and high-grade zippers. The fabric's inner gives off the impression of having some sort of plastic-like water repellent covering. They each have a great handle, making them simple to carry. It's convenient to view what you've put in each one thanks to the mesh area! I believe I was able to pack far more in my bag. I packed so much that my suitcase was overweight; however, I just removed one of my cubes and placed it in my husband's luggage. If my bag is too heavy, I usually hand him shoes and armfuls of gowns or other items.I also included a few broad shots of my son's suitcase being packed. I'll post additional pictures once we've all packed our bags. I can't speak more highly of these!A YEAR LATER, 7/2018 UPDATE:I still adore these packing cubes so much! Since I wrote my initial evaluation, we have used the TravelWise cubes on a number of more journeys. They really do save time and reduce stress. I didn't mention it previously, but one thing I enjoy about these cubes is that you can quickly unpack your bag by placing your cubes in the drawers offered at your destination, whether you're staying in a rental, house, or hotel! Since it looked like a hassle and I was concerned I could forget something in the drawers, I have never done that in my life. I've sorted the cubes in the drawers for our most recent excursions, and by storing our suitcases in the closet, we were able to free up space in our room. We all used to leave our suitcases open and piled high with clothes in the past. It's difficult to navigate around luggage in a constrained location when my kid needs room to play. It feels wonderful to get some much-needed living space back!My spouse purchased a new set of hardsided luggage for our most recent trip. You sort of have to stuff each side and then sandwich them together if you have these or have seen them. When you have these travel cubes, nothing to worry about! On our most recent vacation, I let my kid consolidate his belongings in one of my smaller luggage. Additionally, it is a hard-sided bag. When you fold the suitcase up to close it, the system holding the contents in place on either side isn't the best. There are no longer any sleeves or pant legs that need to be tucked in because we have the packing cubes. Only the cubes remain to organize! Finally, I'm impressed with how long-lasting these cubes are. Now, a year and several travels later, all 15 cubes belonging to our family are in fantastic shape. Some of mine have been filled so full that I was concerned the zipper or seams would rip (oops!). None of them have in any way lost their functionality. One of my favorite Amazon purchases are these. I still have nothing but praise for them!

BAGAIL Compression Packing Cubes Travel Expandable Packing Organizers Review:

These are what I bought for my sister, and she adores them! They are a little different from what I expected (6 Set Packing Cubes, 3 Various Sizes Travel Luggage Packing Organizers, Grey). These feature a top handle, whilst the others have a side handle. While the others load like a suitcase, these also load through the top. Simply choose what you want. These packing cubes are of GREAT quality, much like the ones from the 6-piece set. Unless my cat gets to them, I don't anticipate them ripping any time soon, and the zippers don't snag. These have the added benefit of storing extremely well; they include a zipper that, when closed, makes the cube virtually flat and, when opened, leaves a ton of space. It actually seems a little deeper when unzipped than the other ones, in my opinion. Use the large one for your undergarments, the medium one for your shirts, and the small one for your pants. The wash bag is a wonderful extra! We'll see if she agrees to allow me occasionally borrow this as I typically use a rubbish bag.Images: The black with dark blue is from set 3 and the vivid blue is from set 6.
