It costs a lot, but it's money well spent. As the heater hoses, clutch line, and air conditioning lines on my LS2 converted car are all only a few inches from my headers, I apply this on them. No melting or strange odors. I'm ecstatic with them. They provide you friction tape to wrap around the ends of your sleeves. I do notice that the friction tape begins to unroll a little bit with time. If I had the chance to do it over (or ever had the hoses off again), I would still use the friction tape but look for a large heat shrink tube. In this manner, the tube can be shrunk down by sliding it over the friction tape. It would look cleaner and keep from unravelling if this were done.

Wonderful! My parents purchased a used aluminum Avion camper, which had a leak at one end. After inspecting the roof, we found that despite using a significant amount of silicone sealant, the previous owners were unable to stop the leak. After removing all of the old silicone, we ran this tape over the seams of the roof. Since then, there have been no leaks at all, and the metal tape complements the camper well.

It took me a while to find this item, and I purchased several rolls of material that was similar but didn't seal as well. Do you recall the thick plastic wrap that is placed between the door card and a steel car door? The dark substance that they apply to the door to secure it? That's it.It was discovered that wetting hands and tools prevented them from sticking to it; otherwise, it was difficult to work with because everything stuck to it. Like duct tape, WD-40, and Shoe Goo, this has become one of my new favourite things.

I got this to make sand paper management simpler. This worked out perfectly because I made a large tape dispenser out of numerous reels and a hack saw blade to cut the sand paper. I found that this sandpaper is superior to inexpensive sandpaper. Compared to conventional sand paper, it cuts quicker and lasts longer. The tiny adhesive actually aids in keeping the sandpaper attached to the sanding block, sander, sponge, or any sanding equipment I am using. Overall, this is a fantastic device that has made my life in the shop much simpler.

On my old van, I used it to seal some panels. All of the seams have held up thus far. However, that is only six months ago. Not yet a frayed seam. You are getting a high-quality item because it is from 3M. If cleaned with thinner first, adheres well to aged paint. It is still holding perfectly at 10 degrees. I quickly and perfectly painted over it.
