I've always adored Melissa

Learning Resources Farmer's Market Color Sorting Set, Play Food, Fruits and Vegetables Toy, 25 Piece Set, Ages 18 mos+ Review:

My son loves to pretend to cook, and we didn't have any toy food, so I bought him this. I adore that this set includes only fruits and vegetables in the ideal portion sizes for pretend cooking. However, my son ended up loving the buckets a lot. He enjoys turning them over and stacking them again to serve as drums. They are beautifully built and incredibly durable. Additionally, the fruits and vegetables are exceptionally well-made. These are the toys in his playroom that get the most use, in my opinion. He enjoys carrying the produce around, naming it, pretending to eat it, and feeding it to others. a great resource for learning fruit and vegetable names. He doesn't yet understand the notion of grouping them according to color, but I believe he'll enjoy it once he does. The collection includes 25 different fruits and vegetables: Yellow - pepper, apple, lemon (same shape as the lime), corn, banana; Green - pepper, apple, lime (same shape as the lemon), broccoli, cucumber; Purple - grapes, blackberries (same shape as the raspberries), plum (same shape as the apricot), onion, eggplant. Red - apple, grapes, raspberries (same shape as the blackberries), tomato, strawberry.

Battat – Farmers Market Basket – Toy Kitchen Accessories – Pretend Cutting Play Food Set for Toddlers 3 Years + (37-Pcs) Review:

My son, who is almost two, adores this set. takes pleasure in dissecting the food, "feeding" it to her baby doll and stuffed animals, and putting it in pots and pans and other places. She also enjoys holding and playing with the knives rather than using them to cut food. If I had known how she would be using knives now, I would have saved the knives for till she was older. I'm hoping she picks up the ability to use them to cut food; I'm sure it will happen over time and will be a useful skill for her. The toys are incredibly lightweight and simple to grasp and play with, making them a perfect method to teach her the names of a variety of fruits and vegetables. Love the basket as well; it's a terrific way to keep the food organized and to show my child how to clean up after playing by putting things in it. highly suggestable

Play Circle by Battat – Sweet Treats Ice Cream Parlour – 21-piece Pretend Ice Cream Set for Kids – Pretend Play Food Sets for Toddlers Age 3 Years and Up Review:

My granddaughter, who is 2 and a half years old, just so happened to be here when I arrived today early afternoon. She played about with this for a long time, producing ice cream for everyone. We just received it today, so I can't speak to its durability, but it's a tougher plastic that is solid and quite attractive. The ice cream cones do stand up as shown, however they will topple if you add too much ice cream. My granddaughter adores the sound that the sprinkles make. The inside of the scoop features a "tip" that aids in holding the ice cream layers together. In the image, I've tried to demonstrate that. Despite the lack of a magnet, it functions as intended. If I had to pick something wrong, I'd say the other half of the banana ought to be there. Who creates or orders a banana split using a single banana half?

Melissa & Doug Let’s Play House! Grocery Cans (Pretend Play, Pop-Off Lids, Sturdy Cardboard Construction, 10 Cans, Great Gift for Girls and Boys - Best for 3, 4, 5, and 6 Year Olds) Review:

Okay, so despite my exhaustive searching and research—which included reading a ton of comments and comparing the costs of like products—these results did not match my expectations. They are composed of a sturdy material that resembles card board and are quite adorable! My 4 1/2-year-old and I both liked the way the cans looked and the fact that she could open the lids. I only wish that M

Melissa & Doug Food Groups - Wooden Play Food (Pretend Play, 21 Hand-Painted Wooden Pieces and 4 Crates, Great Gift for Girls and Boys - Best for 3, 4, 5, and 6 Year Olds) Review:

This set has been mine for more than a year, and we're typically satisfied with it. What we've learned we like and don't like is listed below:Benefits: -Healthy food groups: I was drawn to this group because it didn't include French fries, pizza, or desserts, which are common in many others. In order to make him enthused about eating them, I prefer for my son to play with healthy meals. Playing with an ice cream cone while having your mother feed you broccoli is difficult.-Boxes: I enjoy how the food is delivered in the adorable small crates. As we divide it up, we talk about the major food groups. He is able to arrange and tidy up as a result.-Wood: Due to the health hazards associated with plastic toys, I prefer to purchase toys made of wood (although I'm not sure about the paint on these). They simply last longer and look nicer.Cons: -Chipping: I've had some item chipping. There was a small amount of paint missing from the hamburger bun when it arrived, but not enough for me to send it back. If anything is dropped or knocked together, the paint will chip off.-Heavy: Obviously, these are heavier than plastic. They can harm or damage floors, walls, and furniture if they are thrown.Overall, I would repurchase these. Along with the M

Melissa & Doug Cutting Fruit Set - The Original (Wooden Play Food Kids Toy, Wooden Crate, 17 Pieces, Great Gift for Girls and Boys - Best for 3, 4, and 5 Year Olds) Review:

My nephew adores this set. Nearly two weeks after we gave it to him as a Christmas present, he still plays with it constantly. He is 3 years old, so getting two weeks of use out of one toy is unusual. He enjoys pretending to blend smoothies and giving a humorous "sour face" after pretending to bite into a lemon. We also enjoy acting as though we are "shopping and buying" these fruits from the supermarket. He just like the wooden crate that we use as a cutting board. We had no problems with the Velcro, but I'm sure there are only so many times we can "cut it." Even though it appears easy enough to replace if necessary. My one (very minor) complaint about this product is that it doesn't come with a "carry case" or other means of keeping all the pieces together; however, a plastic bag works just fine.

KidKraft Tasty Treats Play Food Set (115 Pieces) Review:

Note that not all of the meals were present in my photograph; instead, my children were playing with some ******My two children (ages 3 and 2) needed new pretend food, so I searched on Amazon and found this set. According to several evaluations, people who ordered Kidkraft as shown received a different brand. I did, however, get the Kidkraft set that was on exhibit. I checked everything out before handing it to my kids, and everything appears to be in order. The plastic is robust and reasonably thick. However, other items, such as corn, hot dogs, eggs, and hamburger patties, include plastic that is thinner and more flexible. However, the foods are generally reliable. There is a large range of foods (dairy, veg, meat, grain, desserts, etc.) and the colors are quite accurate in terms of how they resemble real-life foods. Products in bottles and boxes, such as mac n' cheese and milk, are also made of plastic. The complete set is made entirely of plastic. This is a significant bonus for parents of young children who will destroy any paper-like object they come across. There were no broken goods or overpowering paint smells. They'll succeed, in my opinion. They also don't appear overly flimsy! For the few (10%) products that are thinner and more flexible, I deducted one star. I think it was an excellent buy so far, especially considering the cost and quantity!

Play Circle by Battat – Pantry in a Bucket – 79-piece Pretend Food Playset with Storage Bin – Kitchen Toys and Plastic Play-Food for Toddlers Age 3 Years and Up Review:

Our twin grandsons, who are two years old, adore this meal set for their pretend kitchen. They enjoy pretending to be veggie eaters and stacking everything in their Playskool grocery cart, even though the pieces usually end up on the floor. To prevent them from being destroyed, I taped the cardboard boxes shut after cutting it to size and stacking the pieces inside the tiny food boxes that came with the set. The lads enjoy acting out stories.

JaxoJoy 122-Piece Deluxe Pretend Play Food Set Beautiful Toy Food Assortment Review:

My 2-year-old daughter, who enjoys playing with fake food in her tiny play kitchen, received this from me. Pizza, shrimp, hot peppers, little cans and bottles of tomatoes, and reportedly wine are just a few of the many varied cuisines available. As you can see in my photo of the dishwasher detergent with "excellent taste," some of the labels' language was quite amusing. Yes, there is a slight quality control issue. We barely received around 3/4 of a pizza, and neither did we receive the illusive bottom hamburger bun. But for God's sake, it's a kid's play meal set. They'll modify. My only gripe is that everything was dusted with a fine powder when we first opened the package. I sneezed a few times, as did my kids. I used sanitizing wipes to clean everything with labels before washing the remaining objects in hot, soapy water. You can never be too cautious. It might have simply been dust. Anyway, considering the cost and selection, this was a really excellent purchase; however, I advise cleaning it before giving it to your children.
