B&W Trailer Hitches 2016-2019 Chevrolet and GMC and 2500 and 3500 Trucks Gooseneck Hitch Review:

excellently engineered and constructed. reasonably simple to install. The exhaust heat shield design on my vehicle did not quite fit the instructions exactly, but this did not really pose a problem; I assume Chevy changed their design slightly. The install was really made simpler by it.It's been a few weeks since installation; the hitch hasn't been used yet, but it will soon. I took off a star since the only visible portion of this hitch, a circular section just below the ball, has the powder coated finish peeling off. Rust looks bad. I suppose I'll have to clean it up and apply some primer and paint.

Hitch Tightener for 1.25" and 2"Hitches LIBERRWAY 304 Stainless Steel Hitch Tightener Anti-Rattle Stabilizer Rust-Free Heavy Duty Lock Down Easy Installation Quiet Review:

The components are of very high quality, and I believe that a 2 in receiver would work perfectly with them. It's extremely sloppy on my BMW 323i wagon with a 1-1/4 in Curt hitch, which is my problem. Why no one produces a clamp like this that is sized for the smaller receiver is beyond me. I have two separate hitches in my receiver: a draw bar for towing a small trailer, and a 1-1/4 to 2 in adaptor for a rack. Both of them struggle with this clamp. Perhaps buying a second plate to fit on the clamp's top side would assist to tighten things up. I detest having to purchase a second kit just to obtain the necessary plate to try this. I considered making a top plate, but shaping the lip seems out of my league. Anyway, I detest having to redesign something I recently bought that doesn't function quite right.I wanted to revise my initial evaluation. The firm sent me another clamp kit with Rose's assistance so that I could put a second plate to the top of the U bolt. This made everything much more concise. Instead of tilting at a 60-degree angle as it did before, the U bolt now pulls perfectly perpendicular to the receiver and hitch. These days, it's uncommon to find this level of customer service. THANK YOU for showing such concern for customer service. genuinely awesome

58058 Black Powder Coat 38 lbs. Fifth Wheel Mounting Rails with 10-Bolt Design Review:

No matter what frame mount kit is required, I always use the same Reese Rails set when putting a fifth wheel in a new truck. You can't go wrong with these rails, which also come with all the necessary basic mounting gear. In no time at all, you'll be towing thanks to these rails, their gear, and your frame rail kit!

Reese Towpower 30035 20K Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Review:

I bought the universal rail kit, and man, is it difficult. The directions are terrible, to start. I mention this because there are distinct pages for various trucks, but the main page's diagram illustrates how everything fits together. The 88-98 instruction sheet for a 1500-2500 was the closest thing I could find in there for a 1999 3500 Chevy long bed crew cab. This calls for different length measurements from the tail gate than from the main page. It's at best cryptic. And be sure to allot like a whole day for that. There is no place on my installation for long throw sockets or wrenches. Both the tire and the spare tire are blocking the path. Where the rails just pass through the bed, you must also use these C-shaped spacers. A 17/32 drill bit is required since any larger will prevent the particular bolts from gripping, and any smaller, if you're not cautious, will obliterate your threads. I'm on day one of the installation, and because we ran into a wall, day 2 will begin tomorrow. The kit is sturdy and quite powerful. With all the parts inside, the box weighs more than 60 lbs. That's good news. It is also expertly powder coated. All the components are present, but alas no extra washers or nuts are included, as they are in most kits. I'm not criticizing the kit or its components; rather, I'm criticizing the directions and how difficult it would be to drill into my truck's steel. 4 cordless drills were removed today. The battery was shortly depleted. As a result, be ready for anything and anything. Just make sure that your fifth wheel is at least 52" from the truck's bed's back. Specifically for a long bed. If you don't do this correctly When the trailer is at a 90 degree angle, which is necessary for some challenging campgrounds, you risk hitting your cab.

Orion Motor Tech 2 Inches Anti-Rattle Stabilizer Hitch Tightener for Hitches - Heavy-Duty Lock Down Tow Clamp, Rust Free Review:

extremely well constructed very robust This works with both my 1 1/2" and 2" receivers. I frequently use a trailer, going one way empty and the other filled. When my trailer is empty, my vehicle seems like it is being pulled by a charging bronco. I purchased this, put it on, and, OMG!!!! really nice There will be no longer constant bucking noises... I wish I had done this years ago, OMG! Thanks a lot!

Reese Towpower 30051 16K Fifth Wheel w/Kwik-Slide Review:

Along with the install kit, I ordered a hitch. The item was delivered on time, and at the time I placed my order, this was the internet's best deal. My auto mechanic placed it in the truck for me after I had it shipped to him. The absence of the bolt attaching the head to the frame is the sole issue. It came the following day in the mail after a brief phone conversation to Reese. Very pleased with this purchase. When navigating the trailer around tight turns, the hitch's slider comes in very handy. The hitch may be simply moved back away from the cab to enable a rotation of almost 90 degrees. The hitch will move back into the towing position with the flip of a switch, allowing the weight to rest on your axels as you go.

Reese 30154 Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Mounting Adapter For RAM Review:

This is just what my 2016 Ram Mega Cab needed, and it's perfect and really works. Once the cotter pins (one on each side) are removed, it is fairly simple to adjust. It does take some time to have it calibrated to your vehicle so there is no slack in the pucks when locked in. There won't be more than a quarter-worth inch's of slack... I adore it... It claims to be made by Draw-Tite, but it's actually a Reese. One person can set it in, but two people work best. It also adds in between 2 and 3. The fifthwheel hitch height pins may need to be adjusted depending on the height of your hitch. hint**I suppose it does make a difference, although I'm not sure, that the Reese sticker faces the back (tailgate end).
