Yes, you can use a transmission cooler as an oil cooler. Transmission coolers are designed to cool transmission fluid, which has a higher operating temperature than engine oil. However, transmission coolers are not as efficient as oil coolers specifically designed for engine oil.
Synthetic oil does not necessarily make engines run cooler. In fact, most modern oils are designed to maintain a consistent temperature range, whether they are synthetic or not. However, some synthetic oils are designed to run cooler than others, so it is possible that using synthetic oil could result in a cooler running engine.
Oil coolers are devices used to cool engine oil. They are usually used in high-performance vehicles or in vehicles that operate in hot climates. Oil coolers can reduce oil pressure by cooling the oil, which makes it less viscous and less likely to cause problems.

A revised reviewThis business has really made an effort to improve a poor situation. When they first sent me the kit, it was incomplete and would not fit my 2014 RAM 1500. When I contacted them, they swiftly sent me the missing pieces as well as braided hose and upgraded the missing parts' brass finish to nickel. I was amazed at how nicely they handled the matter considering that those upgrades are expensive. Once I received all the necessary components, installing the catch can was simple, and the vehicle now runs excellently. I appreciate you correcting this UPR. I'll never again question your items!ScottThis is my initial assessment:In order to connect this kit to the factory rubber nipples that remain after the factory hard line is removed, it is missing two hose barbs and a brief piece of hose. This appears to be a generic kit because the can isn't identified as being from Billet Technologies and the instructions from "UPRProducts.com" only mention Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep. I've provided a link to an installation video that demonstrates what should be included in the Billet Technologies kit:[...]The seller called me on 4/14/2014 and said that my kit must have been packed incorrectly. The right parts are being sent to me. If they are accurate, I will revise this evaluation to reflect such.

Replacement 16 pass tube and fin style cooler core for -8AN Electra-Cool remote oil and transmission coolers

As part of an air drying system on an air compressor, I required an aftercooler. This was a great fit. I had to use some ingenuity with piping, but nothing too challenging. The housing was a wonderful fit for the size and shape. I did had to make the brackets myself. For anyone using air for painting or blasting, I would advise using it in conjunction with an appropriate water separator.

Stepped design with two sizes to work on Ford and Cadillac vehicles

For the Ford V8 Explorer (2003–2010), Ford F150 (2004 and later), and Cadillac CS, use the 3/8" size. For Ford Super Duty Trucks, F250, F350, and F450, use 1/2" size.A long back, I bought a quick disconnect master set from Astro Pneumatic and believed I had a very comprehensive toolkit for removing lines. This wasn't in that kit, and NONE of the four nearby auto parts shops had it in stock. What makes you require it?Ford and select Cadillac automobiles have a distinct radiator style line than the majority of other manufacturers (at the time of this review). About some Ford cooler lines, a plastic safety clip holds a flange on the line to the quick connect fitting on the radiator. I can't comment for Cadillac in this regard. YOU NEED THIS TOOL FOR THIS REASON. The fitting is pretty near that flange. You can see the stair-stepped design on the tool if you look closely. This is essential to securing the tool around the line without damaging the cooler line's flange. Every other tool I had was tested. This worked immediately. It is just the proper size, sturdy, and easy to use. As long as I work as a mechanic, it will endure. If a Ford 307-441 tool is required per your service manual, this is it.

I didn't get the sensors with this item for my car because I planned to use the old ones. That didn't go as intended, so I sent the seller an email, and he responded with his phone number. He went above and beyond to assist me after I phoned, and my car is now back on the road. Even the instructions for attaching the item were supplied to me.

My car's previous owner had completely deleted the PCV system and sealed off the PCV valve. I went and acquired this catchcan in order to get that valve back into action without spewing oil into my intake because I was quite dissatisfied with his workmanship. Installing was really simple. It only took me about 15 minutes because I was fortunate enough to find a threaded hole that had been closed off just where I wanted to place the catchcan. The positive1: The can has a great airtight seal. I needed the can to shut up tightly since I intended to recirculate my air into the intake manifold rather than dump it into the atmosphere. I took the tiny dipstick out of the catchcan while the engine was running. It was being held in the can by a sizable amount of suction, and when I finally managed to get it out, the car had a noticeable vacuum leak. If there are any leaks, they are minor because replacing the dipstick quickly sealed it up.2. A well-machined can. The threads are well cut, the metal is rather thick, and everything fits together perfectly. I'm really amazed.3: Functions quite well. I filled the can after about three months. Quite a bit of oil was caught in there, all of which would have been redirected into my intake. I'm happy to see how much my PCV system is actually accomplishing now that it's back up and running.4: Great value and many fittings are included. The negativeThe bottom container is challenging to unscrew in order to dump the oil. little to hold onto.2: Separate the oil from the air because there isn't much baffling inside the can. To advance this to the next level, something like an air stone or something similar would probably be helpful. However, it unquestionably collects oil.Surface polish is very chippy in number 3. simple to scratch It shouldn't come as a surprise, but this object prioritizes function before form. Never install it in a display car. However, it doesn't appear horrible at first glance. But by the time it was put in my car, it had had a dozen nicks on it.4: Garbage hose is included. I trust it won't melt or distort, but I wouldn't want it too close to any hot engine parts.

Though slightly different from the picture, the gasket is a felpro. It's blue and seems to be made of a thinner rubber composition. No difficulties so far.
An oil cooler needs air flow to function properly. If there is no air flow, the oil will not be cooled and will overheat. This can cause engine damage.
Thicker oil may not necessarily run cooler, but it will lubricate better and last longer. Thicker oil is better at withstanding high temperatures and will protect your engine better in the long run.
The size of the oil cooler you need depends on a few factors, such as the type of vehicle you have, how often you drive, and what type of oil you use. If you have a small car, you might only need a small oil cooler. However, if you have a larger car or truck, you might need a larger oil cooler. If you drive frequently or in hot weather, you might also need a larger oil cooler.
If you're towing your car on a hot day, there are a few things you can do to keep it cool. First, make sure that your car's cooling system is in good working order. This means that the radiator, hoses, and other components are all in good condition. Second, keep your car's engine as cool as possible by keeping the RPMs low. This will help to avoid overheating. Finally, be sure to keep an eye on your car's temperature gauge and stop if it starts to get too hot.
If you're towing a trailer behind your truck, there are a few things you can do to help keep your truck from overheating. First, be sure to check your truck's owner's manual to see if there are any special instructions for towing. Next, make sure your trailer is properly hitched and the trailer tires are inflated to the proper pressure. It's also a good idea to keep your truck's engine well-tuned and to regularly check the engine oil level. Finally, be sure to monitor your truck's temperature gauge while towing and if it starts to get
If you're planning on towing your vehicle, there are a few things you can do to help protect your transmission. First, be sure to use the correct transmission fluid for your vehicle. Check your owner's manual or with your local dealership to find the right fluid for your car. You should also avoid towing in excessive heat or cold weather. If possible, try to tow during cooler hours of the day. Lastly, be sure to use a transmission cooler when towing. This will help keep your transmission fluid from overheating.
