We went for the brushed finish, which complements a typical steel sink beautifully. Since replacing the sink would require a whole counter top with a new type sink project, which we are delaying for the time being, we chose to change the faucet instead. The sink is old but still looks shiny. The faucet appears to be well-made with high-quality materials and is manufactured in China. Our faucet had no scrapes or flaws because of the great wrapping. Installation is simple, but in our situation I decided to hire a plumber to handle some ancient lines that needed to be cut. My best estimate is that a newer home—mine was constructed in 1974—might only require the installation of a new faucet by screwing it onto some existing hardware. In the future, I wouldn't need a plumber to swap out this new fixture. Additionally, if we ever get a new sink, this faucet will go on it. After using it for about a month, everything cleans up well and looks fantastic. Controlling the water flow and temperature is simple thanks to the water lever's smooth operation and robust feel. The built-in sprayer is excellent. It is simple to remove from the faucet, doesn't spray water everywhere, and quickly and firmly returns to the faucet. I've seen faucet sprayers like this in other people's homes, but this one doesn't appear to be hanging around. There was no "parts list" in the installation instructions that I could see. If this cartridge started to leak, I'm not sure if you could buy a replacement for it. Since the maker provides a 5-year full replacement policy and I believe it is well manufactured, I am not concerned.One point: Initially, the control lever was located on the right side. This meant that to get hot water, you would pull the lever toward you, and to get cold, you would push the lever's back toward the wall. After a few days, I turned the primary bolt holding the faucet's lever to the left by loosening it. You now draw the lever toward you for cold and push it back for hot. With the lever facing you and a smaller rotation, the left side would deliver hot water while the right side would deliver cold. The faucet can be moved by you if you install it yourself. Inform the installer of your preferred location for the control lever if you are having the faucet fitted.

This item is fantastic! The lack of instructions on how to correctly install this faucet piece by piece made me a bit uneasy, but the installation process was really simple. The only issue I have is that the faucet's tip does not point downward precisely. While we were ordering, my fiancé and I were unaware of that. Given that it has a quirky appearance, I hadn't given this faucet much thought, but the 5-star evaluations compelled me to do so. Later, I purchased the stainless version, which I put in today. One thing I observed was the superior fit and finish compared to a product I had previously tried that was more expensive (about $100). The lock ring design for the main shaft was superior, and the braided hoses were immediately noticeable as being beefier (brass lock ring with two Phillips screws to secure the adjustment and prevent it from loosening - no cheap plastic material). The installation process was made easier by the Kraus' design. The price is not absurdly high like a Moen, but you do get what you pay for in the end.When it comes to functionality, this sort of faucet design is unrivaled because the gooseneck can be quickly moved out of the way by simply rotating it from side to side. In order to attach the faucet with little space to the rear wall of the sink, the faucet handle is made with a 90 degree sweep. Of course, the nozzle detaches, allowing you to extend the hose up to 2 feet outside the sink. Since I don't have to open the faucet handle more than 20% of the time at most when using the shower feature of the nozzle, I can use less water.I was fortunate because after I installed the Kraus, even though my house is 80 years old and has an old sink, the nozzle precisely points down the center of the drain! My two sink screens are cleaned out by the nozzle spray's strong water pressure, which reduces how frequently they clog (like every 3-4 days they get clogged with food scum).

For the past two and a half years that we have owned the Venetian Bronze finish variant, the faucet's function and quality have been excellent. It has excellent size, craftsmanship, features, and a lovely appearance.Both the spray and the regular flow are nice, reliable, and well-designed flow kinds, and they both operate quite well. Compared to soft rubber switches, the rocker switch is made of hard plastic, which makes it much more resilient. Our bronze finish has held up remarkably nicely thus far. It is simple to clean and doesn't exhibit any symptoms of fading, chipping, or other damage. The magnetic dock/latch feature still functions flawlessly, exactly as it did when I first installed it. Installation-wise, it's much like installing a regular faucet and should be easy for most individuals.Problem: At 2 and a half years old, we began to see black specks in the water. I wasn't sure if there was a problem with our house, our city water, or this specific faucet (see image). It was, in fact, this faucet. It's a known issue and allegedly not a safety or health concern, according to Delta, who I called, and they were quite helpful. Yes, it is the rubber. It was simple, and a new hose and wand are on the way. Although I'm not sure, I would guess that this has been fixed in production. It still docks, but it requires more thought to do so. If this hose holds up, only time will tell, I suppose.Update on 9/28/16: The faucet and hose are still working flawlessly. I'm happy with how well-made and attractive this faucet is. I hired a handyman to install it, so the installation was basic and easy, and it works perfectly. Compared to the chrome finish, the stainless finish has a more brushed silvery shine. My sink is the typical size for a home. This faucet could not function properly if the sink is too large or if it is positioned back from the back edge of the sink. The reach of the faucet is 7.5 inches horizontally from its base. I switch off the water first before moving the faucet to a new position in order to extend its lifespan. By doing this, the rubber bushings and seals inside the base of the faucet are shielded from the pressure of the water. It does occasionally make a thunk sound when turned on, but good luck finding a faucet that doesn't.

I appreciate you all and agree with all I read in the reviews. Okay, let's get back to the true reason we are reading this review. LOL The faucets in New York apartments don't simply squirt water out quickly enough, and I was so dissatisfied with mine that doing dishes was a lot of work. So I put this together on my own, and assembly was simple. Since this was my first time using it, I turned it on and, to my amazement, there were no leaks. In addition, the water pressure increased dramatically when I pushed the second button. If you're looking for good pressure and something to make you happy when washing dishes, this is it. It also helps that it comes out, and take a look at my first Amazon review. deserved it a lot.
