I've only used one so far, and even that was only meant to be a temporary solution because I soon intend to replace it with a lit relay switch.For the time being, one is doing a great job of breaking a continuous hot car lead for my radar detector.It's a good deal to get 12 switches for less than $10, and they seem to be of decent quality.Should the need arise, I wouldn't hesitate to make another purchase.

With the help of FORScan, I purchased these to upgrade my ELM327 v1.5 Bluetooth OBD2 adapter so that it can read both the High Speed CAN (HS-CAN) and Medium Speed CAN (MS-CAN) busses for my Ford automobiles. Although I had to use a couple of SS washers to more securely fasten the switch to the housing, this switch fits inside the housing nicely.The wiring diagrams for "ELM327 modification" that you can find online appeared to have all been created by a single person, who may or may not have an engineering background based on the fact that their wiring diagram made no sense. That person's text-based instructions had to be read in order for me to grasp what was needed.Looking at the switch pins, the two center pins are the same (3 across, 2 down). These pins connect to the ELM327 circuit board, in other words. The outside pins, which should link to the HS-CAN (6 and 14) or MS-CAN (3 and 11) pins on the OBD2 connector, are the ones that are swapped. The change took me between 5 and 10 minutes to accomplish, largely since I didn't have a workbench set up. As I moved along, I had to use every item in my toolbox.Even after modification, purchasing a conventional ELM327 for the price of this kit is still less expensive than purchasing the OBDLink MX adapter (which automatically switches to MS-CAN).Overall: 5 out of 5

I wanted the work light on my snowblower to have an On/Off switch. It was required to have at least the weather boot because it would be utilised in a high-moisture area. When flipped, this switch makes a beautiful, satisfying "click." The toggle was sealed off from the elements as the boot was pulled all the way up. I didn't want to use the "screw kind," so the tabs on the bottom fit water-resistant spade connectors well. It has been fine thus far with only three on/off uses.

This was chosen because it matched the switch it had to replace aesthetically, down to the color coding of the three electrical lines. It was required for a lovely vintage brass gooseneck table light. This was simple to install precisely where the original had been, however it did not include the lockdown nut because it did not appear to be required. It fit perfectly and wiring was simple. It was quite satisfying to revive that lamp.One star less because it sometimes seems like you have to turn through an extra detent simply to reach the next setting and the switch positions seem "soft." The button does not fit as securely as the original, but who knows since that one was so old.Having been in use for a few months, if we can get another year or two out of it, it would be preferable than nothing because it managed to keep this helpful lamp alive with minimal work.

Any unnecessary draw on the batteries is a waste of energy because we travel in an R-Pod travel trailer and enjoy boondocking; even a modest vampire draw adds up over the course of a day. Several LEDs on the Furrion radio are illuminated even when the radio is "off." Despite just needing one, I got these switches based on the favorable ratings. I'm thrilled with the outcome after today's switch installation. Getting a tiny hole precisely cut into 1/2" of pressed cardboard was the most challenging part. On the bottom right of the image is a new switch. There are no vampire lights in this room because the switch and the radio are both off.

This is awesome! The pull cord on my ceiling fan light is at an odd angle. For a long, I didn't really notice what was happening, but after approximately 10 years, I noticed I was replacing the pull chain switch for the fifth time. About every 2 to 3 years, it becomes very impossible to pull. When I carefully examined it, I discovered that the chain had worn a channel through the guide, causing it to almost always stick when it is pulled. Additionally, when friends who are unfamiliar with it try to turn it on or off and it doesn't respond as expected, they exert too much force and pull harder.As I prepared to place my order, I searched the internet for a substitute. I came across this one, and even though the price appeared excessive, I reasoned that it would be worthwhile if it actually worked from any angle. So I placed one. The mounting hole had to be enlarged, but it wasn't an issue; I'm just pleased I didn't have to make it much smaller.I was pleasantly impressed by how simple it pulled after inserting the switch. It took me a few days to adjust to pulling it with less force. Having said that, it was built well because my power jerks had no negative effects on it.It always works, which makes me very happy. I'm going to order a box of them right now so I can have some on hand.My favorite.

The majority of electrical projects benefit greatly from toggle switches. I wanted to bypass the zone start safety device on my Snapper lawn mower, among other things. The mower breaks down every time I have to stop it to pick up some garbage, a child's toy, or even to empty the grass bag.
