Best Toddler Playsets in 2022

Barbie Club Chelsea Clubhouse Review:

I ordered the wrong one by mistake wanted the one with the swing but we are keeping this one and still going to get the other one. My daughter likes Chelsea but she uses the Chelsea stuff for her toddler princess dolls because there are no play sets or anything made for them. The fridge and stove opening are a nice feature, but it would be cool if they lit up when they opened.

VTech Drop and Go Dump Truck Review:

Another fantastic VTech toy! We've had this truck for more than a year, and the batteries have never needed to be changed. The 22-inch pull string is long. It comes with three rocks, but if your kid loses one or two (like ours did), another toy might have rocks that fit the same size. You can see that we located one in our video. The blue lever is also a little challenging to press back. The truck will move backward if you don't push it while holding it down. (As shown in the video). The lever might be simpler for young children to use. This toy's voice is upbeat and motivating. It teaches the names of various tools as well as numbers. There is still plenty of room in the vehicle once the three rocks are loaded inside. Where you load the rocks so that they roll into the truck bucket, our small guy likes to place his Hot Wheels vehicles. He's had a lot of fun with this toy!

Just Play Lion Guard Collector Figure Set Review:

It's difficult to find Lion King toys these days because my son is OBSESSED with them (luckily, I am too). This collection features three unique characters, so I went ahead and bought it. My two-year-old son is able to grasp many of them in his hands at once. Since they had Disney on them and appear to be well-made, I anticipated high quality. We haven't had any problems with components breaking, however Rafiki has some give to him because of the thinner parts of his staff in particular (yet). I would advise!

VTech Turn and Learn Driver (Frustration Free Packaging) Review:

I adore the toys made by VTech. To go along with the vibrant colors, this brand always appears to include a wide selection of music and sound effects to its toys. Their toys are always a hit with our daughter, and this time was no different. Three separate settings enable a variety of sound choices (car sounds, music mode, or numbers). The responses of the back five buttons might vary up to three times when pressed repeatedly. Little hands can easily turn the wheel, and pressing the horn is simple. The mirror might use some extra space because it's so little and difficult for small children to find or arrange in a way that makes it helpful. I heartily suggest this toy as being better than this!

VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Choo-Choo Train Playset Review:

Our 2-year-old kid already has the larger "Go Go Smart Wheels Train Station Set" and he likes to play with it, so we bought this set to complement it. Since the motorized train sold in this set has a different color scheme than the one we currently own, it also allowed him to have two separate motorized trains. The only issue I have is that the locomotive included in this set sings and says the same same things as the larger "Train Station Set" train. Additionally, Trevor is the same "name" as it. Adults may find it mildly annoying when both trains are moving at the same time due to this. In order to employ the extra cars provided with the "Carry-all Cargo Train" (a non-powered vehicle), we also bought the motorized locomotive from this set. So far, the $20.00 that this set cost was well spent on more track and equipment, as well as a second motorized train.

VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Train Station Playset Review:

My young 2-year-old son, for whom I purchased this. He is a very active young boy who quickly becomes tired of most toys. This set was simple to put together, seems to be quite sturdy, and is very adorable. My son got into it right away and has spent more time playing with this toy than I have ever seen him play with any of his others. My son soon learned how to use the hand crank to climb a hill, as another reviewer mentioned. This has made his play much more engaging. If your youngster can't hand crank yet, don't worry; they can still use this toy and have time to get used to it because of the way the track is set up, which allows you to select whether to send the train up the hill or beneath the tunnel. The train's ability to travel independently sets it apart from his other push toys, which my son adores. I hope this doesn't break it, although he occasionally tries to push it. So far, it's held up. There are many different ways to put this set together for tons of variety and excitement, plus the other Go Go Smart Wheels sets can attach to it!The complex track configurations are the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, which is fairly small in the grand scheme of things. A cheat guide on how and where to place the pieces is provided. I am currently unable to use all of the components without their sheet. Now that the sheet has vanished, we are in a difficult situation. This seems to happen frequently in my crazy 2-year-old environment; you'd think by now, I'd have figured out a better method or a safer area, but I haven't. I visited the V-tech website, but there isn't a manual that can be downloaded there. I emailed them, so I'm hopeful I'll get another chance to choose a more secure location for this manual and demonstrate my responsibility. The track comes with a lot of bits open on 4 sides, which is my only other problem (again, a little one, but the main reason for 4 stars). These are used to create cross sections and to join track parts that might not otherwise fit together. The issue is that the train will hit these if they are placed on a corner (a common placement). As a workaround, V-tech provides a component that attaches and reroutes the train, saving the day. Two of these parts were very essential. Because it would require two of these pieces to stay on the track, the train cannot use half of the path shown on the box. The same is true for a few more setups. One more piece would provide a ton of new play options, making it look so simple. This item is not included in any of the other play sets I've seen, and ordering more online is not an option. I did contact to inquire about buying one. Although I don't think I can, it never hurts to inquire!

VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Police Station Playset Review:

This police station is one of our son's favorite toys, and he plays with it almost every day. He also adores another Smart Wheels Park

VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels 3-in-1 Launch and Play Raceway Review:

This ramp was ideal for our 2-year-old. Every day he plays with it and always requests that it be set up in the morning. He appreciates the many ramp types and the fact that most of his cars fit on the circuit. It works with Hot Wheels, Little People, and other similarly sized vehicles. The bigger than the VTech cars cars we have that are intended for babies don't fit.I've read reviews that claim this track isn't particularly durable once it's built. Both are true and false. This doesn't bother me for two reasons:1. You should be able to disassemble the tracks and reassemble them in one of three different ways. The joints being looser therefore makes sense. The tower components are highly strong and are not intended to separate from the start ramp at the top.2. It is loose enough for my toddler to assemble and disassemble the parts. He enjoys working independently and on his own. If he couldn't put the track together by himself, he would be very frustrated. Finally, this song is excellent for people who live in cramped apartments. When we're finished, we simply disassemble it and store it in one of our toy bins. We are really happy to have this toy.

VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Spinning Spiral Tower Playset (Frustration Free Packaging) Review:

Our two and a half year daughter and I both enjoy this a lot! Even with the stickers (I don't get how they might be a problem? ), it was quite simple to put together. This took my husband and I less than 20 minutes to assemble, together with the ramp kit and the miniature train track. While I'm not at all handy, my husband is, so I'd say that when we're together, we're definitely average. Our son, who is 2.5 years old, still enjoys playing with this to this day and has enough of room to grow into it. I carefully considered all of the Go Go Smart Wheels playlets before selecting this one, and I'm very glad I did. Our son can continue to play with the tower component on its own while we store all of the tracks and ramps, and we can then bring them out and construct a track onto it. It's a lot of fun, and the train set is also highly recommended because the trains move independently (the cars do not) and are adorably adorable. The mountain train set was also in our order, but it hasn't yet shown up.The tracks are simple to separate, but they are as simple to put back together. They aren't necessary supposed to stay up all night, in my opinion. I'm okay with the tracks falling apart easily because we set the tracks up and then do other configurations, etc. Our toddler had to learn quickly not to lean on the ramps to reach across even though it doesn't destroy anything; instead, they merely come apart since they won't put up with a child pulling up on them. The parts appear to be child-safe enough. Overall, we are quite satisfied with this!

VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Deluxe Track Playset Review:

I purchased this to complement the VTech Go! Go! When I finally gave up on that idea, I decided to keep the space station separate and set this one up separately, as it is shown in the picture. My son likes to "drive" the space car and other vehicles he has. So, I spent hours trying to get everything to fit together, basing my efforts on a very small picture included in the booklet included. Ha! That is a complete joke, I tell you. Literally every time you even slightly touch this, the bridge supports collapse, and your track tumbles to the ground, even if you're an extremely cautious adult (much alone a toddler!). Since I got bored of trying to put it back together a million times every two seconds while my child yelled because his track had broken, it has been in pieces. This would be fantastic if it really remained put.Updated 12/2/2017: I decided to give it another shot after completely giving up on it and putting it aside for 10 months. It works well since I built it EXACTLY as indicated in the Amazon image. I wouldn't advise the kid to put a lot of pressure on it because it's still a little wobbly, but it will hold up and function well as a car track whether it's used by itself or in conjunction with another system (as shown here, I attached it to our space station system, with pieces from the space station.) Although he's not the easiest on toys, my son isn't particularly difficult either, and he's been playing with it nicely for at least 30 minutes since I put it together without any of the components moving.
