When used with the leap frog tag junior gadget, this book is excellent for teaching reading to young children. Young children appreciate the book even without the technology, but when the device is employed, reading the book by kids takes on a whole new meaning and experience. Every day, my 4-year-old son uses his tag junior to read this book. Young children have enjoyed and found the Leap Frog books that go along with the Tag Junior to be quite engaging! Although I don't think this technique will help my son learn to read, I do think it's enabling him to fall in love with reading at a young age!

For her birthday, I gave my kid a LeapReader and a few books. She and I both adore them. They are an excellent resource for a youngster who is eager to learn how to read and write letters. The books are fantastic in and of themselves. In addition to reading along as promised, they also contain little surprises stashed away on each page: In this book, various characters and objects on various pages will speak or make noises if you touch them with the pen. (For instance, if you touch the trumpets on the wedding page, you will hear a fanfare.)

Exactly as stated in the description, I got 10 vibrant, interlocking foam tiles. They blended together perfectly and were of an appropriate thickness. They came in a variety of colours (greens, soft reds, yellow, blues, and purples). They are ideal for the cement basement floor I placed them on in front of my washing and dryer. I would look into ones that were a little bit thicker if you were trying to buy foam squares to utilise as a baby playmat. However, these are fantastic for laundry rooms, pets, or even just to create or play with.

Little over a year old, my daughter's older brother has a LeapFrog TAG Reading System - Green and some books. I decided to get her one as well after watching them struggle nonstop because little sister also wanted to read with the pen. Because it doesn't look the same and wouldn't address the envy issue I had going against me, I didn't want to purchase the Tag Jr. Having said that, I was hesitant to purchase her "normal paper" novels just yet. She's split her allegiance between destroying them and leaving them alone for the time being. I then checked LeapFrog's website to make sure all Tag Jr. books were compatible with the Tag Pen. The Tag Pen books have the drawback that you may simply tap a word to hear it read. In contrast, when you touch a page in a Tag Jr. book, the entire page is read. On Tag Jr. books, the Tag Pen still covers the entire page. I can't speak to storage on the Tag Jr., but the Tag Pen allows me to keep all of these books, including the LeapFrog Tag Junior Book: ABC Animal Orchestra, LeapFrog Tag Book Finding Nemo: Lost And Found, and the LeapFrog Tag Learn to Read Phonics Book Series Short Vowels. We can add more as that only uses slightly more than half of the pen's storage. Now for a detailed analysis of this product. When it comes to their educational worth, these books are adequate. Despite the fact that they are all present and accounted for, I don't think they are really making an effort to teach the youngsters how to read or even how to pronounce vowels. My daughter loves to play the characters on them and then hold the pen above her head and "rock out," which is so cute! They all have amazing 30 second songs! So don't use this if you're searching for a learning tool to "Get Ready to Read." If you're seeking for family-friendly entertainment, this movie gets a 5 star rating. Due of the music, my son (3.5) also like these books. In addition, I have to admit that the melodies are not as obnoxious as many kid-oriented products. Bravo to LeapFrog!Would I repurchase this item? For the amount I paid ($14.95) for the five books, it was abhorrent. The music alone has already given me a lot of enjoyment, and the fact that my 14-month-old daughter can sit down and push anywhere on the page and make it "go" is absolutely fantastic, even if they don't include much education (or words in general).

The Leap reader was a gift for my 15-month-first old's birthday. As soon as I set it up, I was amazed! He enjoys listening to stories. This book is fun to read, engaging, and instructive. I am thrilled to see my son starting to take an interest in reading and studying as a middle school language arts teacher. I advise all parents to buy this for their young children. For other one-year-olds in our lives, I also bought the Leap reader and a few books identical to this one. Cheers to reading!

Despite the fact that I purchased this book knowing it was a JUNIOR edition, I believed it would function with our standard leap reader pen. Junior novels can be read with a standard pen, according to other reviewers. If that's the case, then THIS ONE DON'T. I was unable to even view the audio file on the Leap Frog app when I attempted to download it to the pen. Unfortunately, when you touch the pen to the book, it instructs you to "ask a grown-up to download the audio file for this book," but when you connect the pen to a computer, the software informs you that "not all books are available for all devices." Now, despite the fact that I can't download the file, my son keeps asking me to.My kids adore Jake and his friends, so we're keeping the book, but it'll have to be a parent-read book for us.

My youngster has improved her phonics knowledge thanks to the leapfrog letter factory movie. These cards, which feature the same movie scenarios in the alphabet, will enhance her learning by reinforcing what she has learned. For instance, in the letter A, a monster appears from behind a wardrobe and exclaims, "Aaaah!" The cards are made of sturdy cardboard that holds up well. On the first touch, the side bearing the movie's letters will sing a song, "A says a and an says aah," and on the second touch, it will say a brief sentence associated with its scenario (C will say it's c... c... c... cold). A letter-starting animal and an uppercase and lowercase letter are located in each corner on the reverse of the cards. A game card with four games is also present. 1) Look for capital letters. 2) Locate the minuscule letters 3) Make funny sentences and 4) find the letter that matches the letter sound (you touch two animals and it will say a joke with the two animals) Excellent for reinforcing learning, and it comes in a small package to keep everything together. My daughter was ecstatic to see the movie-related letters. To keep them together while I feed them to her in the car without having to worry about one falling down and having to fish it out from between the seats, I would simply recommend that the firm provide holes where a small ring could be inserted. On a related point, perhaps it was just me, but when I first got the cards, downloaded the audio to the pen, and tried to use the flashcards, my pen began acting strangely. My pen has always worked well with her books and I've never had any problems with it. I got in touch with Leap Frog, and they were able to fix everything. Excellent support and customer service!

The Tag Jr. method is a favorite of my two-year-old. We took this book with us to the nearby zoo where we "compared" the animals using the animal sounds, which was a lot of fun for her. This novel appeals to me for her age range. It holds her attention and isn't too difficult to figure out which regions you should sweep your wand over. We purchased a few additional items from this line that were just too complicated. You should be aware that the Tag Jr. unit can only hold a certain number of books (depending on the books you select; I believe we have 9); as a result, you will either need to buy another unit, limit your book selection to 5 MB (I believe I have that right; before you buy a book, you can connect your unit and it will list all the books they have and what each one requires), or alternate between switching books frequently by connecting the unit or hiding books from your child until you have uploaded or switched I have to constantly telling my daughter no, she can't also download the Thomas Tank book because we've used up all our storage, but she loves this book. My daughter always manages to find the one book I can't get into the device. I still adore the system despite all its advantages. If you wave your hand over particular spots, sounds appear in addition to the words being read. I still give it a thumbs up.

bought for my 4-year-old grandson. using a LeapReader Junior book device to read. He adores it. Moving the small bear through the sentences and words, it reads aloud in clear, precise English, making it easy for him to understand. He is currently working on his third novel. At bedtime, he read each one through to completion. great acquisition If you remember to turn the device off after using it, the batteries last a very long time.

Jumping Frog Leap Reader books are excellent for helping children develop. The princess voices read the pages to the child while a "dog" named Scout "tells" the stories by touching the pages. This book is interactive since it requires adult and child reading aloud until the young reader fully comprehends how the pages function. The book series includes a wide range of publications and age groups. The Leap Reader is what I advise.
