This product performed about as I had anticipated. I carefully viewed the videos and followed their instructions. Since the tile was placed two years ago, I had never sealed or really cleaned the grout in my kitchen and family room, so I was in for a pretty hefty task. This is why I believe it required a little bit more cleaning than I had anticipated to get it clean. Additionally, I purchased a brush head that attaches to a mop handle. While it worked okay, it was somewhat frustrating because it tended to spin rather than stay straight on the grout line.The only other thing I could think of is maybe selling different bottle sizes. I still have a whole bottle of sealer remaining even though I ran out of cleaner. With extremely soiled grout, in my opinion, you need more cleaner than sealant.However, I'm pleased with the outcome. I'm hoping it will stay looking good!

With the outcomes I got utilizing these little grout pens, I'm really happy. I started with the big pen. I'm not happy at all with the big ones. The huge grout pen I bought did not have much substance in it, and the nib would not stay in the pen. About 10 linear feet were extracted from it. The amount of linear feet of grout lines it would cover astonished me, so I purchased the smaller ones. The small ones appeared to go on forever and provided me with much, much more coverage than the giant grout pen and more linear feet than was indicated. The giant grout pens are not something I can endorse, but I wholeheartedly endorse the tiny ones. The huge grout pens, in my opinion, are just a waste of money.After using the grout paint in two coats, I sealed all of the grout joints. A word of caution: Avoid using more than one coat of sealant since it may cause the grout paint to disintegrate. I was shocked to find that both sealed and unsealed grout lines had the grout paint adhere to them. After being sealed, the grout should be much easier to clean and should keep its new color for a considerably longer period of time. It remains to be seen if it is accurate.The floors in the kitchen, tiny bathroom, foyer, and two halls still need to be done. To completely remove the old grout and simply float in fresh grout of a different color, I can either use these grout pens or my Ryobi 4 inch wet tile saw with a non-segmented blade. I have an angle grinder with a diamond blade that would be quicker, but I don't want the dust or the cleanup. If you know how to correctly set the water feed line to the saw, the Ryobi wet tile saw will not make a watery or sludgy mess. Of course, where the grout lines meet a wall or other impediment, I'll have to manually remove the old grout because neither a circular saw blade nor a grinder blade will extend all the way to the wall. The fresh grout would then be sealed. Since I have a Triple Card and have over 40 years of experience as a union concrete finisher, hard coat plasterer, and tile setter, regrouting the remaining floors won't be an issue for me. I probably should have done this with the floor of the main bathroom, but I was interested in seeing how well the grout pens would work. Only time will tell. In any case, my wife is delighted with the grout's new appearance.

This is a top-notch item. You should be quite happy with how your granite countertop gets sealed if you FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. Our L-shaped white ice kitchen countertop has been broken into two pieces for a year. When I recently wiped across it, I could feel the numerous gouges and dings as well as the edges and crevices of the inclusions in the stone. It felt scratchy when a dry towel was pulled over it. I scrubbed and properly dried it after washing it with soap and water. After spraying the Black Diamond, I covered the entire stone, including the edges, using the cutoff sleeve of an old t-shirt as an applicator. I barely allowed it to soak in for a few minutes before wiping it dry with an old thermal undershirt (clean). REMOVE FROM THE STONE BEFORE IT DRIES. A clean towel was then used to wipe the surface, rubbing it lightly to remove the excess. I allowed it a few hours or more to solidify after that. A thorough final rubdown was performed to remove any last traces of excess sealant and polish the surface. came out extremely well and smoothly. I heartily endorse it.

After Hurricane Harvey, we had to replace our fireplace. We reasoned that a white mantel would contrast wonderfully with the black slate tiles that had white streaks running through them. We were horribly mistaken; the white turned out to appear like caulk. I'm very grateful that we didn't have to pay to redo the grout because the grey pens were simple to use. I concur with earlier comments; make sure the pen is well primed and keep doing so even if it appears to be drying up. Since some people complained that the pens didn't last as long as stated, I got extra pens to make sure I had plenty, and now I just have two left. The tip of one of my pens didn't last very long, but the others were all right. I still have a lot to do, but I am already really satisfied.

On the grout around natural stone, this solution performs incredibly effectively. The grout came out spotless when I used it on 2 different kinds of honed (not shiny) limestone. I would advise going slowly and using the scrubber after letting it set for about a minute or two. Even though it claims to be safe for natural stone, I wouldn't want it to remain for more than a few minutes on the stone margins surrounding the grout. I will absolutely make another purchase because I had no problems with etching or other concerns on the borders.

I enjoy this material. According to some unfavorable evaluations, these might have been a garish cover-up. They removed the unsightly grout, in my opinion. That is significant. Over the years, I tested a lot of cleaners. just the fumes! My little bathroom has beautiful tile. Unclean grout is dangerous. I need around 10 minutes to completely spray all the grout plus some edging with this product. I purchase two bottles, and I occasionally touch up my makeup with the second one. I'm good for months with that. First-rate outcomes are achieved with little personal work and upkeep. If there were a better option, I would not know about it. I've used pens of this type in the past with less consistent results. These, in my opinion, are the best. Pro tip: When putting this on, don't push too firmly.

Because of all the unfavorable reviews I had read about the felt tip deteriorating before the product was even out, I was hesitant to purchase this item. I bought it nevertheless because my house was up for an assessment in a week and a few years ago, my ex-partner used a sealer on the grout instead of cleanser, which made it look HORRIFICALLY DIRTY from my dogs. It would become white again no matter how hard I washed, even after removing all of the sealant. It worked perfectly, and the felt tip was fine once I was finished, so I'm not sure what the individuals who had given it terrible reviews had been doing with it. It's not like you pull it across the grout by using a lot of force. You shake it, press down until the felt tip is covered in paint, and then move it over the grout. identical to any paint pen. My grout now sparkles and appears to be like new.
