With this headset, I'm quite pleased. It is cozy to wear and fits well. The audio quality is excellent. Since I've had it for a year, I haven't had any issues. Despite its flaws, I have been using this headset for the past four months and really enjoy it. The pros include being comfortable to wear, having good sound quality (no one has ever expressed dissatisfaction with the sound of my voice over this headset), and having a charge that lasts more than a day, making chatting for the entire day no problem at all. The base unit contains a variety of options at the bottom, but the buttons are cheaply manufactured and if turned past their minimum and maximum positions, they will break and lose their functionality. The second thing is that whenever I make a call, my voice tends to echo in the headset. The other party is never bothered by this, and it goes away after a minute or two, but it is still feedback that I could do without. Last but not least, the connection to the phone is not that intuitive. I have to take the headset out of the cradle, put it on, switch it on, and then make a call, which requires multiple steps (as opposed to putting the headset on and dialing the phone) Yet another sold item.

This gadget is fantastic, as is the phone-lifter that goes with it. The instructions, I must admit, should have been a little more detailed, but after about 10-15 minutes, the device is operating without a hitch. Given that I had no idea what to anticipate in this regard, I'm quite impressed with the phone-lifter. When I lift the headset and place it on my ear when using a Cisco model phone, it does it quickly, easily, and reliably. This, I suppose, would also be true if I continuously wore my headset while taking calls and merely pressed the "answer" button. The device is a touch more expensive than some of the goods from other firms I saw on Amazon, but I've used Plantronics devices well for a long time, so I decided to give this a try. I'm pretty impressed so far!

Due to my propensity for neck problems, using a headset is quite helpful! Although I chose not to purchase the handset lifter because my previous one broke after a few years (and I don't need it since I don't walk around with my headset on), this headset works flawlessly with my (ancient!) Intel phone. Incoming and outgoing audio are of excellent quality. I had to do a little troubleshooting to find out how to change the outgoing volume (there's a dial on the base unit), but once that was done, I was good to go! It didn't come with any real instructions in the package. I can move to the far end of the building without losing the call thanks to the excellent range. The use of binaural earbuds might help you drown out background noise. I'm hoping that this one won't stop charging after a few years like my previous one did. If it does, I'll update this review.I believe the price is fair considering that the last Plantronics monaural headset I purchased in 2007 (nearly 10 years ago!) cost just around $40 less than this one.

BATTERY LIFE - I spend a lot of the workday on calls. For almost a month, I've been using this headset 3-5 times a week for several hours at a time with no problems. I've been on the phone for more than eight hours on many days, but I doubt I've ever worn the headset for longer than five or five and a half hours without at least 30 minutes of charging time in between calls. I can't speak for the unit's long-term performance at this time, but the battery's initial performance has been outstanding!COMFORT - This headset is among the most comfy ones I've ever used. Although some people might like these, I truly prefer headphones with only one earpiece. Although I usually wear it over the same ear, if necessary I can quickly switch from side to side.AUDIO QUALITY - The headset's range is excellent, and the audio is clear and sharp. I can move around my house, yard, and mailbox without the audio quality or sound degrading or being interrupted.EASY OF USE - There was no extra installation or configuration needed; I simply plugged it in, and my conference call program instantly recognized it. A convenient mute button is located right on the earpiece of the headset, which is great if you're moving about. (When I think, I prefer to pace.) Because I had second thoughts about purchasing this set and questioned its quality, I felt compelled to write this review. Since I work from home as an interpreter and am frequently on the phone, I wanted an excellent product at a fair price. The product was delivered in a tiny box that was already assembled, with the headset and dialing pad wrapped individually. All I did was attach it using a standard phone's connector. There was no need to modify the time, date, etc. My home is a fair size and I can hear it anywhere in the house. The headset is comfy, the screen is good, and it rings loudly. The following are the things I wish it had, but if I wanted more, I could have chosen a more expensive model. Still, at the price, you can't go wrong. Since I have Amazon Prime and live in a same-day delivery area, my package was delivered the same day. To aid everyone, I have included some photographs as well.Pros, Cons, and Wish List1. There is a mute button, however I would prefer it if the panel itself indicated that the mute was on. Fair enough, the light does shift from green to orange, and you can hear a sort of click to let you know that something has changed, but it would still be nicer if I could see it. That's just me.2. Just in case, I wish it had a battery backup. But it's not a big deal; I knew it lacked one.3. The dial pad's numbers are not illuminated. However, the screen does improve it somewhat if you use it with the lights off or with only a little bit of light. This would be helpful to me because I occasionally work late into the night.4. The timer on the screen resets itself and begins counting anew as if the call just began once you have been on the phone for more than an hour (59 minutes and 59 seconds, to be exact). I'm not sure if there's a method to rectify this strange situation. I'll have to find out. Although it is not a significant concern, I would prefer for the timer to continue ticking, especially because I have to keep track of my minutes at work. If the call lasts longer than an hour, I would rather not have to sit here and total up all the minutes.I only gave it four stars because I've never seen a home or business phone reset the clock on the screen if you're on the phone for more than an hour, and the mute feature. I'll attempt to see whether that can be changed or reset; either way, I'll update.

I'm enrolled in a course that will allow me to work from home. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one of these in case I failed the course or it didn't perform as I had hoped. I've worked in call centers before, but that was more than twenty years ago, and the headset was provided. This one genuinely works great and is quite inexpensive. Compared to my home phone, the sound quality is significantly better. The mic is adjustable, and it fits my head well. Given that some of the alternatives are incredibly pricey and this one works wonderfully, I'm delighted I went with it. I wish I hadn't chosen pink, but it doesn't affect how well it functions and it was my decision. I had intended to set up my workspace in the closet of the toddler playroom. That was my strategy because they wouldn't be around when I was working at this job. So I chose a much better location for my workspace—between the kitchen and dining area. Even though the pink is too bright for my neutral-toned area, I'm managing to make it work. If I end up enjoying this job, I genuinely intend to get a second one of the same brand, but in black.Overall, this is a fantastic product that I wholeheartedly endorse. It functions flawlessly, and the audio is crystal-clear. It effectively reduces noise and performs as it should.

I can't go with my outdated Blackberry Z10. It reaches the signal towers better because I sell rural real estate. The speaker, however, has degraded after seven years, and the microphone was never of the highest caliber. With this Bluetooth, it's not necessary. This is the best/ideal option in my opinion. I've bought a ton of earbuds over the years, the most of which cost over $200, and none of them perform as well or are as comfy as this kind. I've only had one issue, which is that the flip-out component will eventually break. This is my third one, but they have all held up well for a few years. Because the ear hook will eventually break and need to be replaced, I have bought several of the hook over the ear pieces on eBay for a very low price.After using it for two months, this morning when I put it in my ear, it started speaking in Spanish. REALLY... To turn it off and restart, you have to push and hold the button. What a hassle! I'm still extremely pleased with the unit, but I'm not pleased with the surprise from today. Thank goodness my guy is Hispanic and can actually communicate...Update: I had bought a second one, but I wasn't aware that it had a fracture in the case. For the sole purpose of alerting others and ensuring that they were to order, I took images of the crack with a pencil pointed at it because it is rather difficult to see. Unfortunately, the flip on that one broke quite quickly, so I just got a third. Simply because I use the earpiece so much when listening to my Audible books, I still adore how these feel in my ears. Simply put, Motorola has to discover a better/stronger method of manufacturing this headset so that it lasts a little bit longer.

I've tried six or seven headsets in this design from LG and other manufacturers, and so far I've discovered that the "old" LG HBS 730 and 750 appears to offer the greatest sound, the longest battery life, and the best durability of any I've used.I bought them since my left earbud wire on my three-year-old 750 wore out after repeatedly tangling with my seatbelt (they have ALL died this way). I bought these HBS-780s because I couldn't locate a 730 or 750 for a fair price (around $30), and at first I liked them. They seem to have much more of a treble bias than my old ones, and after a week of use, the left earbud wire started to significantly fray where it connects to the earbud. Although the bass is good, I thought the extreme high-end sounds, such as cymbals and speaking voice hisses, were much louder and more pronounced.Since I was able to get a 750 from a buddy that I no longer needed, I have kept these aside as a backup set.Great for what they are, but it's still very difficult to top the old model, so when my current set breaks, I'll spend the money on them.Overall, due to value for money and sound quality, but NOT for longevity, it is recommended.
